Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Santa Maria Maior

A very difficult place to find at night in the rain but ... that's worth it! Teresa and her team gave us a warm welcome even late. The place is magical and very well equipped as the other testimonials say. In winter the rooms are very well heated. The gargantuan breakfast with a different homemade cake every day. We highly recommend this address.

Elliss’s place was one of the best Airbnb I have stayed ever. She was accommodating and friendly host. The location was perfect to enjoy costal of Portugal, Praia de Macas, Azenhas do Mar, Praia de Ursa, Cabo da Roca. We stayed there about 3weeks, we had everything we needed. Fast wifi, full kitchen, washing machines, and even heating system in the room. There is no big supermarket but there are mini market and Mercado with fresh seafoods and vegetables and good quality butcher. We really enjoyed simple life of there. Highly recommended and we will come back for sure!

Nice location, right next to the subway station, it takes only 15 minutes to get to the airport by taxi, 20 minutes to the Duomo, etc.The room is clean and there is a bathroom that is included.The host had a very good attitude and left us storing our luggage for a few hours after we left.I really enjoyed the decoration of the room, and I loved the host's books and alcohol, and it was comfortable. Thank you!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying at Mars's apartment. It's a beautiful, comfortable, clean space in a great location, in easy walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops and the seafront but also peaceful and relaxing. I really enjoyed having an extra shared space to sit it and read surrounded by art, books and wine. The breakfast ingredients provided each morning were tasty and very fresh and also gave a great opportunity to chat with other guests. Communication with Mars was excellent, she is a lovely person and I hope to return in the future.

Very pleasant accommodation experience. Because it is the official tourist season, the price is a little higher. But it has a private bathroom and breakfast, which is very good. Although the house conditions are not the best, it is well-equipped, clean and has a good environment. The surrounding tourist attractions are not far away. The beach is beautiful. I like it very much.

Had a wonderful stay. Mars was very responsive and welcoming. She was able to accommodate an early check in for us. The coffee/breakfast and wine was delicious and a nice touch. Location is close to all the shops and restaurants in town. Everything is walkable. We had a car and were able to get free parking each day. Would highly recommend! Thank you Mars

We had such a fantastic stay!!!!! The rooms are even better in person - such gorgeous touches and so much attention to detail. Charlie and Lu were extremely kind, hard working and accommodating hosts and they gave us amazing recommendations. Walking distance to all the cute restaurants and (slightly longer) walk to the beach - we loved every minute! And amazing breakfast each morning :) we hope to be back!!!!

The most spectacular stay I’ve had on Air B&B. Comporta is gorgeous and the location couldn’t be more perfect. You are walking distance to the main downtown area. The hosts go above and beyond every step of the way. From a beautiful breakfast spread, happy hour drinks, and even getting us reservations… this place is so special. Thank you again! Highly recommend and would love to come back.

I would greatly recommend it , Lincoln went out of his way to even provide me with an European iPhone charger, which I forgot to give back(but I did when he reminded me). Very hospitable and I felt very well there.

Mars is a very welcoming and attentive host. We felt at home in the house. The property is exactly as shown in the photos. Everything is within walking distance, and whenever we needed anything, Mars was there to help. We even decided to extend our stay. I recommend!

Luna house, what a beautiful place with a peaceful vibe. As soon as I entered the house I felt welcome. My room was big and spacious, with lot’s of windows and a cosy balcony. The bathroom is shared with one other room, and it’s cleaned often by the staff, so it was always fresh. The people working here are very friendly, it was like a family vibe. Very nice and service minded staff in the reception, delicious breakfast made by a nice woman, and the yoga classes are amazing. I really recommend everything about booking a stay here. I loved the location, easy to arrive by train, and also just a short walk down to all the shops, restaurants and the beach. The same day I checked in for 3 nights, I booked 3 more nights, the vibe here was just what I was looking for. Great co-working space, nice areas to relax or be social, several outdoors seating options for sunny days. I will come back again, lovely to meet you all at Luna house, such friendly and genuinely nice people working here <3

Very great house, we had a nice time at the place :)

the room is small and essential, but cozy and clean. There is the en-suite bathroom and the TV. The breakfast (to be paid separately) is great! The location is also very convenient, in a 10-minute walk you can reach both the station and the historic center.

From the instant we set foot in this gorgeous home we felt elated and awestruck. We got the corner room on the second floor which has a lovely balcony with an incredible view of the ocean and hilly coastline. Patricia greeted us warmly and let us check in two hours early. The room was amazing and the bed was an absolute dream, it was difficult to get out of it. We enjoyed some very restful sleeps. Definitely the comfiest bedding of our entire vacation. The breakfast was a 10/10, so delicious and nutritious. And very considerate of my partner who has a very strict diet. They went out of their way to ensure he was well fed, and he was so delighted and appreciative. I had to take a test at 1am on our first night and was very grateful to be allowed to use the common space to do so. The staff were extremely helpful, accommodating, and easy going. We were quite sad to have to check out and joked about staying there the rest of our trip. We truly had a hard time leaving, and will be back
