Waterfront vacation rentals in Santa Maria

Nina is one of the best host I’ve met in my life, she is nice, fun dedicated and trustful. Everything went so smooth, we allait regret not staying longer in Santa Maria ! The localisation is perfect, close to everything you may need and directly on the beach. Don’t think twice, just book !

A accommodation as described, concierge, punctual and very pleasant. The equipment is relatively spartan in the kitchen or in the bedrooms. No TV . But these are the ones we expected. The apartment is large with sea views on the third floor, very easy to park in front. Two sets of keys are very convenient and rare enough to notify it. Small supermarket nearby, restaurants nearby too and the beach 150m away.

All aspects of the place, the host and the housekeeper, are 5-star! The gated community feels very safe, and the location of the apartment is quiet and private. One of the top places available! Clean, plenty of wardrobes and drawers. Very good fridge/freezer, top of the line, fresh and spotless. Bose bluetooth speaker, easy to connect to. The wifi stretches to the private terrace, and there is an electricity socket up there as well.

A really nice, clean four bed apartment in a luxury resort in Sal. It was nice to be on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the pool and the air conditioning on hot nights was welcome. There is good provision in the apartment for self catering, but I would recommend negotiating all inclusive at the resort reception, for my short stay with friends already at the resort it worked out perfectly. The resort provides access to two main pools and two small pools for younger children, plus access to the beach. There was no issue with obtaining sun beds during my stay (November). The resort and the island feels safe and relaxed. There isn’t a lot to see on the island, I managed to get around it all on a day trip (I recommend Reis Transport Services Sal Experience, Ronnie was great and provided a great insight into the island and island life). After that you can just relax in the sun, snorkel or kite surf! I had a great stay, thanks to Stephen for his hospitality.

Great location! Pleasant accommodation, spacious, and very good communication with the host. Perfect for those who get up early, because at 8am, the loc agency under your windows will try its 20 scooters.

Bo has a cosy place in a quiet neighbourhood, everything you need and no buildings between you and the ocean. Loved the big balcony. Its 3min from a quiet beach and a couple of cheap but good places to eat and drink, but still only a 10 minute stroll from the white sand and restaurants on the main beach in Santa Maria. Brigite, who met us with the keys, was super nicel, and Bo allways answered quickly. Great value.

Thank you for a blissful 10 days. So peaceful and such a wonderful setting. The house was clean, spacious and functional. We had hoped to use the BBQ, but finding charcoal in the local small supermarket was not possible. Having said that, the shop did meet all of our other requirements. Benoit was a very friendly, responsive and accommodating host, and any queries we had e.g a broken bottle opener (!) were dealt with immediately. The 2 local restaurants served very good food and staff were always friendly and polite. Their English is limited so be patient! We enjoyed a tour of the island which included the ‘touristy’ things that one does on holiday, but was most enjoyable. If you are looking for a more upbeat holiday, then this is not your destination. If you are hoping to fly and flop, then get it booked!

Thank you for this stay which corresponded to our wish, a wild place away from the tourist areas of the island of Sal, with Pool and authentic. Ralph was perfect before we arrived, good remote advice, same during the stay. All small daily issues were easily resolved. The house is top notch, nice pool, perfect view, away from tourism, wild and quiet. A few small youthful imperfections about hosting a house in this category like a lack of soap or pool towels, but I'm sure Ralph will improve!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for this stay. Wayne’s property had beautiful views of the ocean you could relax on the sun lounger’s during the day or watch the beautiful sunset set at dusk. The house has everything you would want for an enjoyable vacation. Murderia is a beautiful quiet area of Sal. I would recommend Wayne’s house and would definitely book again.

we've just come home from a fabulous family holiday at Agnes beautiful front line villa. We all felt very comfortable in the villa home from home. Kitchen is very well equipped and had a washer and dishwasher which was an added bonus, beds were very comfortable and it was lovely to have 6 sunbeds all to ourselves! It was very busy around the communal pool. Air conditioning was essential and worked well as did the wifi Agnes also provided fans and organised a taxi for us and we were able to have a late check out which was very much appreciated. Taxis are readily available at the hotel into Santa Maria. Two lovely bars are bar Marley and Bikini Beach fabulous food although was a little noisy on Saturday night. All in all a fabulous time was had on Sal lots of amazing experiences for our grandson Joey thank you Agnes for your hospitality.

The villa is a great location , we where within minutes to kite each or town and if you surf , ponta preta is a world class break right in front of your villa ! We had a great week !

Bibis place is perfect or kitesurfers, with a backyard, not faar from the town centre with many high qualitiy restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay. The Airbnb is right by the sea and restaurants are a 10-minute walk away. The view of the sea at sunset is breathtaking. Our host Peter welcomed and said goodbye to us very warmly, we felt very comfortable and can fully recommend Airbnb.

We stayed here for about a week of kitesurfing. The apartment is nicely situated a bit away from the hubbub of the main street but still everything is reachable easily by foot. It is simple and clean and equipped with everything we could wish for (including clothes pegs😉). Guille was super responsive and very helpful throughout our whole stay! Now all we need is more holidays to come back!

Great place with amazing view. I would say this is a room renting with private bathroom and balcony. Hots is very nice and responsive. Internet works fine for remote work

Alba helped us at all times and gave us great recommendations, she was a great host. The apartment comes with everything you need for a short stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and is very close to the beach, restaurants, and areas of interest... Very recommended!!

Lorraine was kind enough to let us check-in early and check out late which worked well with our early and late flights. Great stay, great location!! Would come back in a a heartbeat!!

I recently stayed at the penthouse at Porto Antigo 2 in Santa Maria, Cape Verde, and it was fantastic. The ocean views were absolutely stunning, and the location couldn’t be better—close to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything I needed and a comfortable living area. The balcony was my favorite spot, perfect for enjoying the sea breeze and watching the sunset. The pool in the complex was also well-maintained and a great place to relax. While there was some occasional noise from nearby establishments, it didn’t take away from the overall tranquility of the place. The host was attentive and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. I’d definitely recommend this penthouse for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Santa Maria!
