Nice clean place to stay just a short taxi ride from Santa Maria town with its many restaurants, tourist shops and of course the beach and jetty where fresh fish are landed.

We had some issues in the beginning at the reception with our check in, they told us we couldn’t use the facilities at the resort if we didn’t upgrade. I texted Ann and Nadine and they replied immediately, called the reception and the problem was fixed right away. We were very pleased with the room. It was clean and it had everything we needed. Ildo the taxi driver picked us up at the airport and made sure we had someone to bring us back on the last day. The resort was very nice, right at the beach. I would definitely recommend booking with Ann and Nadine! Thank you.

We stayed in Sal as a family in mid-October and had a great stay in Porto Antigo 2. The apartment is ideally located, very clean and quiet. A special thank you to the cleaning sequence, which has perfectly maintained the entire outdoor area. The host was extremely friendly, always available and supported us with helpful tips for the area. The pool was amazing and the beach right outside the door was a dream. Shops and excellent restaurants are very close by, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We can fully recommend Porto Antigo 2 and would come back any time!

Michael's place was as displayed on the pictures and very clean. The sun shines beautifully on the balcony in the morning and besides the resort's animation it has been quiet. There could have been more furniture like a full-body mirror or additional things to place stuff on, especially in the bathroom, but I personally prefer clatter-free interiors so it worked perfectly well for me and fulfilled everything I expected. The kitchen might also be equipped a bit better for someone who prefers to cook everyday and every meal – however, that wasn't the case for me (and I wouldn't recommend since the fresh fish you get on the island is just great!). Communication with Michael was also very easy, fast and friendly. Unfortunately, a few amenities listed (shampoo, shower gel, salt, pepper, oil and coffee) were not there when I arrived, however, Michael instructed his staff to organize and bring these things to the apartment. Would definitely stay here again, loved my time there! (solo travel)

Wonderful stay! Lovely apartment, perfectly situated in the resort with easy access to amenities (multiple pools etc). Ann was very quick to respond to messages and arranged an airport pickup for me which was wonderful as I was already by the pool before the tour operator’s transfer bus arrived with all the other guests! Apartment has everything you need for your holiday, including a good little kitchen and pots / pans etc to cook for yourself. It is centrally located on the resort, where there are restaurants and bars where you can pay without the need to be all inclusive (although you can pay to be all inclusive for the day if you want). Easy to town - a free shuttle bus from the hotel at 11am, or a 5€ taxi or a 20-30min stroll. Worth a visit, particularly to see the fisherman bringing their catch in at the pier. I’ve previously been an all inclusive guest at the hotel but didn’t feel the need this time as travelling on my own, and Ann’s apartment was just perfect! Highly recommend!

The host always replied with any questions that we had. we initially didn't have wifi, and within 2hrs someone came with a router for us. The TV in the room was not working, which wasn't a big deal because we barely stayed in the room and the TV in the livingroom worked fine. Everything was great overall. I would highly recommend it and if we return to Sal, we will definitely come back and stay here again. Lovely!

Joanne’s apartment was absolutely perfect for our two week stay in Sal. It was on a complex which was nice and quiet and had everything we needed - swimming pool, supermarket, coffee shop, restaurants and a bar. The apartment has two large balconies so you can catch the sun any time of day! The air conditioning was also very welcome in the evenings.

Very friendly and responsive communication. Appartment is beautifully located and nice restaurants and bars are right there. Pool area quite and comfortable. Staff and guards are always friendly and helpful.

We’d a wonderful, last minute trip to Santa Maria and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the apartment- can’t recommend it enough! Clean and spacious and wonderful owners on hand to help with everything - big shout out to Fabrizio, Brian and Joshua! Pool area lovely and access to bars and restaurants just outside the complex as well as an easy walk into town and the beach across the road made it a lovely relaxing week and we’ll definitely be back ! The apartment was exactly as described and was in a good location .Mirian and the on site support Helena was both very responsive to queries and messages and did everything they could to make sure our stay was comfortable. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend-so much so we have immediately booked to return to another of Mirians apartments soon.

Great place , clean and as described. Nice large and quiet communal courtyard with pool - would recommend.

communication with Marti was awesome from the very beginning, friendly and proactive, responding much faster than expected and reliable (we had some bad experiences before with other guys). Apartment and assistance to everything was outstanding, even prolonging our stay by one day (was easy not no problem. as described, this apartment is located in a very perfect spot, it is far enough away from all loudy actions, but beautiful view over big pool (where fortunately happens no animation or party) and in a little distance to Kite beach, but on the other hand very fast reachable (means close) from the reception (taxi), therefore close to the supermarket in villa verde), the bigger pools, the waterpark, the baby pool... absolute burner is the roof terrace (with even better view to Kite beach and very private). When again melia dunas, would go there again. support by Marti and Ruth for check-in and check-out perfect as well. Always asked if everything is fine and offered their help. thanks

Great apartment for fair price and very responsive host!

Absolutely fantastic accommodation in Villa 27. Spacious and perfect for us on a family with two adults and three kids. The private small pool area was an added luxury bonus. The villa is located in a large hotel area that is beautiful and well cared for, and it is close to both pools and the nice beach. The kids enjoyed the activities of the kids club and the lovely water slides in the sactivity pools. The only downside to the area was that we found that there was not much food selection for those who want to drive self-catering. Very few take away restaurants or restaurants not connected to the All inclusive concept. Very sparse with the range at Supermarkets against what we are used to. However, during the time we were there a new restaurant opened, and a take away restaurant would open shortly. This will make it better for those with self-catering who still want to be able to buy some food. We can really recommend both Sal and the accommodation. We would love to come again!

The villa is a great location , we where within minutes to kite each or town and if you surf , ponta preta is a world class break right in front of your villa ! We had a great week !

We had a great stay. Everything we needed was available and everything was so smooth we didn’t any contact with Ann during the stay but she had been very helpful arrangingvtaxis etc before we arrived - thanks so much Ann
