Cabin vacation rentals in Santa Clara County

Our family of four stayed here and loved it. When we arrived, Geralynn responded almost immediately to a question I had, and she had left us a welcoming basket of goodies. Sitting on the large deck and looking out feels like you’re in a secluded forest. If you like quiet, then this is your place. We enjoyed the daily visitations of wild turkeys displaying their magnificent feathers. It’s only a few minutes’ drive to grocery stores and shops in Felton, and it’s only about 10 minutes by car to our favorite destination here: Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. Staying here was well worth the drive up from L.A.!

This is an absolutely beautiful spot that had everything we needed to have a very enjoyable getaway. It was peaceful, well appointed, and relaxing. Carsten's directions and instructions were very clear - he had great communication. All the furniture was comfortable and the space is well designed. The hot tub was very nice to relax in while surrounded by redwoods. There were games for my children to check out, and plenty of room for our family of 5. This is a gorgeous place and I can't wait to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at Whiskey Hollow! The A-frame is such a neat place, and we loved the loft and the big windows that brighten the whole place. Everything was perfectly clean, from the linens to the surfaces. Jamie and Paige were super friendly and helpful in their communication. We would love to come back!

If we could buy any property in the world to live in for the rest of our lives, we’d buy Whiskey Creek (and that’s without changing or adding a thing). Paige & Jamie created such a cozy, delightful, practical haven that is absolutely beautiful at every turn. Just a dream. The design & amenities are so thoughtful and of great taste, and that hot tub— wow, that hot tub… That hot tub is so spacious and medicinal; it became the highlight of every evening. Whatever we chose to do during the day, we couldn’t wait to get back “home” to relax. It was so wonderful that we couldn’t understand why Paige & Jamie would give up such an ideal place for others to enjoy. Thank you, Paige & Jamie for being amazing Superhosts! You are tremendously good at what you do! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 We will definitely be returning, because two nights at Whiskey Creek just ain’t enough.

We had a lovely stay. We had both the upstairs and the downstairs units which comfortably fit 7 of us and 1 dog. We spent our time in the upstairs unit, which has a nice dining table, great kitchen & access to the gorgeous deck. We used the charcoal grill to BBQ, which they graciously included coals & tongs & even a meat thermometer! The fenced in yard was great for our dog & the quiet street up the hill was perfect for our nightly walks. Quick access to Felton for coffee or to pop into the Natural Foods store for produce. Overall a fantastic stay, highly recommend for your next getaway!

beautiful grounds and cozy, cute cabin. private area next to the stream is very serene and peaceful. hosts were very responsive and friendly. we had a lovely time there.

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! Falling asleep to the sound of the stream was just lovely and the bed is SO plush! We enjoyed walking down the small pathway next to the stream, spotting cute banana slugs and red newts amongst the redwoods. Rachel was very responsive for anything we needed. There is a shared wall to the home and the co-host living there was quiet and respectful. Location is everything! Being only 10 mins from town and its so easy to get to was pretty spoiling. We craved japanese food and boba which only took around 18 minutes to get wherever we wanted to go. Such a beautiful home you have! Thank's for offering it so others can experience the calm it brings. We went to relax and unwind, honestly didn't want to leave.

This was a beautiful and peaceful location for a weekend getaway with friends. The property felt very private, and we loved seeing deer wander by from time to time. We arrived before sunset, which I recommend if it’s your first time. The road is narrow, steep, and very dark at night. One of our friends returned around 11 pm and felt nervous driving back in the dark. Chris placed a sign at the entrance, which was super helpful since GPS points to the wrong path. The house itself could have been cleaner. The dining table was sticky, and the cover of my book actually ripped when it stuck to the table. This made us hesitant to eat there. We also noticed large cobwebs on the high ceilings. It’s understandable that the ceiling is hard to reach, but they looked like they had been there for a while. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the quiet, natural setting. A little more attention to cleaning would definitely improve the experience.
