House vacation rentals in Sandy Bay

This was our second stay at Sea Cloud, and we are just as much in love with it as when we first stayed in December 2022. Highly highly recommend staying here - especially for families. 5 stars!!

The house is much nicer than what the photos show. It's super comfortable, cozy, the maritime style decor is perfect. The back gallery has a mosquito net that allows you to enjoy breakfasts and meals without being bothered by mosquitoes. The complex's pool is wonderful, with a waterfall and a small Jacuzzi upstairs. Across the road is the beach with sun loungers and other amenities. The hosts were always attentive to our comfort. It's very close to Sandy Bay, West Bay and West End. We were delighted with Roatan and the Magnolia house. We will definitely repeat because it is magical.

We spent 6 weeks at Casa Blanca, Katie’s beautiful home on the equally beautiful island of Roatan. The house is spacious, bright, well equipped, comfortable with very high end bathrooms and appliances. The views from the pool deck are spectacular. The location is superb, close to the West End (less than a 5 minute drive) and West Bay, but far enough away to enjoy peaceful, quiet serenity. Katie and the house manager, Bill, offer 5 star concierge service, responding to all of our questions and needs in a flash. We HIGHLY recommend Casa Blanca for your next five star vacation home away from home experience.

Anoranza was a dream. Perfect for a quiet and relaxing girls getaway/bachelorette party. Great location for snorkeling, kayaking, yoga and lazing around the house. About 10 minutes to Punta Gorda and an hour from the West End, if you want restaurants and nightlife. Pro tip: Plan meals and dinner ahead of time as supermarket is 30 minutes away and nearby restaurants close at about 7-8pm. Chef Dalia’s shrimp pasta was amazing!

Vanesa and Henrry are the best hosts I've had, they make your trip more interesting and economical, they give you a lot of information about the area. In terms of their facilities are impeccable and super comfortable. Feel free to visit them 👌🫶🏻

Blue Resort Roatan is absolutely amazing! The resort is stunning, the amenities are top-notch, and the staff is the best I've ever encountered. A special thanks to Ricardo Medina, whose exceptional service made our stay unforgettable. Everything from the views to the food was perfect. I can’t wait to return!

Casa del Eden was perfect for us. We were close to the best beach on the island, restaurants, music nights, snorkeling, diving. The few minutes walk to the very private, jungle escape, with a beautiful breeze and the refreshing plunge pool was so worth it. The house was bright, airy and very well laid out. 4 of us travel as two couples, I loved that the bedrooms where equally spacious both with large ensuites, and balconies. This house had the nicest, largest, workable kitchen we have stayed in. The furniture in the house was comfortable, The air conditioning cooled the house very quickly. Pablo was very attentive with any needs at the house, a very friendly and informative host. I have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful place.

I recommend the house Marcelle 😍 Sandy you are the maximum and Jerome is super friendly and helpful, we loved the house ♥️ It was a wonderful week and we were able to enjoy beautiful sunrises and nice sunsets 🌅 the view is unique and the sea breeze is fantastic. Of course I'll be back ♥️♥️♥️♥️

We had a wonderful stay at Vanessa’s! Full stocked kitchen, lots of towels and everything you need for a trip to the beach. She was super responsive and offered help getting a ride from the airport. Favorite part of our stay was her beautiful porch and outdoor shower. Would 100% recommend.

Me and my parents loved our time staying here. It was really close to everything. Lovely restaurant on your door in Lily Pond and then a great bar Sundowners with nice food within a few minute walk. Apartment was lovely as we're the hosts. Always offering great recommendations, phone numbers for taxis and water taxis and recommendations for great places to eat. The apartment itself was clean, looked exactly like the pictures. Very happy with our stay

This place was clean and walking distance from the beach, restaurants, and mini market. Apart from a excellent property, the host was accomodating and very responsive. During our stay we experienced "Hurricane Sara", this property kept my family safe! I love it here. I'm definitely coming back!

Barb and Jay’s place was absolutely perfect for us! It’s an adorable set up that makes you want to stay forever. They both were so kind, helpful and very responsive. They had a taxi pick us up from the airport and take us to the property where they had a bottle of wine waiting for us. It’s super close to the main strip of West End, we walked everywhere. Overall great stay, great people, would recommend!

Very beautiful home with a view of the ocean. The beds were comfortable. The scuba shop on property was great. Sam our dive master was excellent. The kitchen was a little lacking but we were able to make do. I would be happy to stay here again. The home is next to the restaurant, so there is restaurant chatter until 10. But after 10 it’s very peaceful. From doing our research we knew that sand flies were a possibility. We brought every kind of bug spray. We got a few bites, but it wasn’t bad. There are no basic cooking supplies like salt, sugar, oil, coffee etc. If you are going to cook, you will need to buy all of those things as well. It’s a short 10 minute drive to Eldon’s groceries in French harbor.

Excellent place, highly recommended

The cabin was lovely with everything we needed. Due to the tree canopy AC was not really required. Great private outdoor deck with overhang and hammock/ table and chairs. Our hosts were very gracious and great communicators. The bed was comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Good space for a couple or single traveller. The hosts build a community within their complex. We felt safe. The pool was a great touch. Issues: Do research on the area, Sandy Bay is quiet but you cannot simply walk into the ocean. Transportation to other beaches is easy and cheap though. Lots of roosters in the area (not in complex) that are early risers!

We had a great time at Stephane's place! We needed a place to wash and dry our scuba equipment and this was perfect. Such a cozy home, super close to everything we needed. Would absolutely stay again!

The backyard oasis was paradise and we loved our stay here. Walkable to all of the best restaurants in the West End and hosts are extremely responsive if you need anything. Would definitely stay here again!

We found Sarah's place to be the lovely quiet tropical get away we were looking for. It was very roomy. A real treat was the community pool in the back yard that us and the neighbor had almost exclusive use of. The pool and properties are well cared for. There was 24/7 security at the street entrance and patrolling the neighborhood. We ate most of our meals in after stocking up at Eldons and enjoyed occasional outings. Relaxing, swimming and snorkeling were our main goals. The property is on a hill and returning from the pier was a bit challenging for two 70+ yo. We often stopped at the cafe after a few hours snorkeling for refreshments or a meal before the short climb. We saw a big variety of tropical fish including Eagle Rays, eels, tangs and Lion Fish. Also large schools of Grunts and Sargeant Majors and a few sea stars. We have been to Roatan many times and loved this quiet retreat. But if you like to explore a car would be necessary or grab a cab or collectivo.

This place is heaven… the house is so spacious and beautiful. Big rooms and bathrooms. The gardens are beautiful. The location is perfect, directly on the beach. It is better to have a car. I regret to not have stay longer. I hope i can come again at this same house. Highly recommended

We love the house so much, in a very peaceful and safe neighborhood, it is so clean, beautiful and spacious, plenty of towels, the only thing is the dryer doesn't work, I texted the host, she sent someone to check it, then no more response after that. We had to hang all the towels and clothes everywhere like a laundry room.

Take snorkeling gear & water shoes! There is a private beach in the backyard but there are lots of rocks, corral and sea creatures to see. You’ll see more sea creatures here than in West Bay. Jose was very responsive, recommended local restaurants and let us check in early. His home is really beautiful. Do not walk inside with dirty shoes it’s so clean when you walk barefoot that you don’t need shoes inside. Believe him when he says that the upstairs AC cools the house it just takes time to work. I preferred having the doors open instead of the AC because of the fresh outside breeze (unless it rains of course). Also the house has reserved water so try to preserve water so you don’t run out while you’re there (I took too many showers and ran out) my bad! Fast internet private area and the neighbor Carlos assisted us in getting the water back, cutting down coconuts and even helped give us rides when we needed. Loved this place so much will be telling all my friends and family to visit!

Having stayed 5 dif places between Roatan and Belize - this house was our favorite. The cleanest, and no bugs in the house at all! The kayak and paddle boards were great fun , reef is right out front. Able to kayak through mangroves , the deck over the water was our favorite place to hang out - coffee up there in the am, and amazing sunsets at night. Brian the groundskeeper/ maintenance guy was there must days , very kind and helpful, brought us bait for fishing , cocanut bread for eating, and just a real nice helpful guy - would absolutely stay here again . Hosts were super responsive , full of suggestions for outings etc- did I say how clean and bug free the house was??👍👍

Great experience overall! The house was clean and well-equipped with good amenities—though I will include, the countertops are very tall in all bathrooms and the kitchen. The location was fantastic—walkable to West End (with a bit of an incline for those who like a little workout), and at the end of the road, Luna Beach Resort offered excellent dining and drinks. Easy access to water taxis made getting around a breeze. Eduardo was a great host with excellent communication. I also really appreciated the air conditioning, parking space, and despite being near other cabins, the place still felt private and secluded. We would definitely stay here again!

The place was in a very relaxed spot, nice beach and dock in the back yard. Bathrooms and air conditioning in every room. Honestly booking this place is worth it just to get Vanessa as a contact while you are staying in Roatan. She helped me and my group so much, to finding basic needs around the area, helping us book activities to do and setting up day passes for Mayan Princess Resort. She truly helped make our stay a fun and pleasant one. My only nit pit was the television was super slow when using the different streaming apps when we were winding down at the end of the night but other than that great place to stay at when you are in Roatan. Also when we stayed there was friendly cat on the premise that hung out with us on the beach and back porch. Definitely would reconsider booking again when coming back in the future.
