Large chalet in woodland setting inc shepherds hut

Modern chalet in Sylvan style setting. Large wooded garden backs on to bridle way River walks and Stour Valley nature reserve only 1 minute walk away. Lots of wildlife including deer and the resident tawny owl. Under 10 minutes drive to 7 miles of golden Sandy beaches. 10 minute drive to New Forest. Lots of local bars and restaurants all walking distance away. Table tennis table, wood fired pizza oven and gas BBQ! Tree house for the children to use! Big rope swing at the bottom of the garden 😀

Happy Daze

Our Garden Chalet is situated in a lovely south facing garden setting in a quiet area. It comprises of one comfortable double bed and has its own private shower room with toilet outside ,adjacent to the chalet. We provide a continental breakfast and there are tea and coffee making facilities, TV and Wifi. Parking is outside the house on road. Christchurch Rail Station is a 5min walk and it takes only 10 mins to walk to the historic town of Christchurch with its Priory and beautiful river walks.

Coastal log cabin, near Nature Reserve and River

The Log Cabin is a garden room in a pretty, tree surrounded garden with its own entrance. It is opposite the main house, which is hidden away from the main road. It’s quiet and relaxing. A 10 minute drive in all directions will take you to St Catherine’s Hill, the airport, train station, beautiful beaches, The New Forest, wonderful bars and restaurants. I’m now trialling hiring out paddle boards and kayaks for the day or half days including transport.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Dolphins in Swanage. Our group of seven adults found it to be the perfect retreat. The location was unbeatable—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and relaxing. The Dolphins itself is stunning. The decor is stylish and inviting, creating a cozy yet spacious atmosphere. The layout was ideal, giving us plenty of room to spread out while also offering comfortable spaces to come together as a group. It was spotlessly clean, and every detail felt thoughtfully considered. Julia, our host, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable, making us feel so welcome. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Dolphins to anyone looking for a memorable getaway in Swanage. It’s a gem, and we’re already looking forward to returning when we can.

Fantastic lodge, spacious yet cosy, very clean, great facilities, well equipped and great location. Kathryn was very helpful, polite and professional, made good recommendations and was always quick to reply. Facilities at the Sandford Holiday Park were very good and food was good there too. Local area is great, with loads to see and do. Would definitely stay here again 👍🏻

We have had such a lovely stay at Karan’s home. The caravan is spacious and well laid out with everything you could need and more! We felt right at him from the minute we arrived. Karan is so responsive and so helpful we really appreciated it! There were so many activities and things to do with our little ones (4 and 2) both at the complex itself and surrounding areas. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again!

We would highly recommend Megan’s place! The accommodation was really spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a family holiday! Casey’s caravan was like a home from home, super cosy and had everything you needed and more :) we had a lovely stay, not far from either the beach or rockley park base where there are restaurants, amusements, swimming pool and lots of activities to occupy the kids. The caravan was the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in, has a lovely view and is on a very quiet and peaceful part of the park. The little extras such as squash in fridge, cleaning solutions, hand soap was a fabulous touch as they are always the things I forget!! Thanks Casey - we’ll be back :) The only think I will say is that if you are going to rockley park for the activities such as swimming pool, sports etc then try to go on the same set days that other people at rockley park arrive as the swimming pool was unfortunately full so couldn’t take our kiddies, also the activities are more difficult to book as you are unable to use the booking system online which I have found real useful in the past when booking through the park

The caravan was as described and we had everything we needed. We used the portable heaters in the eve as it got colder, both had slightly wonky wheels on one side. We enjoyed our stay and the site was clean and both family and animal friendly. Lots to do on site and lots to do in the surrounding areas. Great bus service. Leaflets in caravan need updating (2022/2023), the main door could benefit from a door curtain for the evening. We ate on our last evening at the Mash & Barrel, very disappointing, the double classic burgers were burnt and the french fries only luke warm, no-one approached us at any time to ask if our meal was OK which is normal practice.
