Cabin vacation rentals in Sand Harbor

Really nice place. Reminded me of AirBnbs from 10 years ago - not just an investment property but someone’s actual guest house clearly meant for people they care about.

This was a great, private cabin located behind the Firelite Lodge. A little smaller than I had imagined, with not much room in the bedrooms, but it was fine for what we were needing. It's in an excellent location on the quieter north side of Lake Tahoe. Within easy walking distance there is Jiffy Pizza, Pep's Place for coffee and breakfast/lunch sandwiches, and an ice cream shop. Across the street there is a marina with a small, private, pebble beach to relax and watch the sunsets. Tahoe City and the marina are ~15-20 mins away where you can rent sailboat charters, sunset cruises, etc. We did not use the kitchen much, but it appeared to have put thought into stocking all the items you would need. The gas firepit on the front porch and the picnic table out back were also nice touches. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Tahoe.

Was the perfect time of year to enjoy Tahoe—no crowds, made this peaceful place extra special. Beautiful lake sunsets just a very short stroll every night—getting to see the comet over the lake was unexpected & magical. Being able to step onto the bedroom balcony & enjoy coffee with the lake & mountain backdrop every morning was a routine that would never get old. The house has everything you need to be comfortable inside or out!

Place is a 10/10. Beautiful setting with a private dock. Would definitely stay here again. There are a lot of stairs, but the view and privacy are worth a stay on the water.

We had an amazing time at Brent‘s house and felt right at home. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, had enough space for everyone to spread out and was very clean.  It’s a 5- 10 minute drive to Soda Springs ski resort, which was perfect. The spa was a bonus and we spent a lot of time out there enjoying the view. The BBQ came in handy! I hope to visit again during the summer months to enjoy it in a whole different way.  The cabin is beautiful with serious attention to detail. It has so many great DVDs, a couple sleds to use in the snow, and very comfortable beds. We loved the consistent hunting theme throughout.  Brent was super responsive to all of our questions and we appreciated that. 

We loved our stay at Mike's cabin! My husband, 3-month old daughter, and I stayed for 3-nights in August. The Airbnb is in a great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and trails-- perfect during the busy summer season when parking spots are hard to find. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and everything was clearly labeled, which was super helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze-- clear instructions and the house was easy to find. Mike was incredibly easy to work with and super responsive. Would highly recommend Mike's cabin for a stay in Kings Beach.

Meg and Hari’s place was amazing. Located in a peaceful area off Lake Tahoe boulevard and easy to find. Hosts were super responsive. We were traveling with an infant and they had a high chair and pack and play ready to setup. They also allowed us to check in earlier if needed. Another great aspect is how well stocked the house was. They had water, soft drinks and beer stocked up. They also had other necessities like dish soap, laundry detergent, extra pads for changing the baby etc all included in the house which made life so much easier for us. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a stress free vacation in Lake Tahoe area.

This was such a cute place to stay for a weekend getaway. Sally responded fast and was very friendly. Would definitely come back for another vacation to Tahoe.

This was a great stay in a lovely location. The house is beautiful, located in a peaceful neighborhood and close to South Lake Tahoe attractions. Instructions were clear; kitchen, bathrooms and everything else was very clean. The only issue is that this is a 3-bedroom house, not a 4-bedroom. The 4th "bedroom" is a futon located in an open area. Otherwise, everything was great. Highly recommended!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay at Lake Tahoe. The home had incredible views and felt very private. We enjoyed our time relaxing in the hot tub which overlooks the lake. The appliances are new and work very well. The washing machine and dryer were convenient to have for our longer stay. Zachary provided dishwasher detergent, paper towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper, trash bags, etc, which has not always been the case for our previous air bnb stays at other locations. The bathroom is roomy and updated. Zachary gave clear instructions and was proactive with warning us about road construction. The home is walking distance to multiple beaches and many restaurants, and we enjoyed Zachary’s recommendations on where to visit.

Dan & Ada are responsive and friendly for any questions. Their cabin is really cozy and true to photos. Our stay was wonderful. You can tell how well and genuine they take care of the place so guests can feel like home.

Despite the amazing view, the house was cozy and comfortable and the instructions left behind for the house was very useful. would go again

Me and my family had a fantastic stay at Jamie’s place in South Lake Tahoe! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Jamie was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfectly set up for our stay. The house itself is just wonderful. It's cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every amenity we could possibly need was available, and the beds were super comfortable—ensuring a great night's sleep after a day exploring the stunning surroundings. The location is also ideal, close enough to easily access all the local attractions, yet far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. I would absolutely recommend Jamie’s place to anyone visiting South Lake Tahoe. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just a spot to relax, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for such a memorable experience, Jamie! Looking forward to my next visit!

Compared to everywhere else in the neighborhood right above King's Beach, this place was a gem for an extremely affordable price. This house fit our group of 10 beautifully and we couldn't find a single fault with it. We would most definitely stay here again. ❤️

Our family of 5 and 2 dogs had a wonderful time! It was plenty of room for us and everything was clean. It was a very short walking distance to the main road and we were able to walk anywhere along it. The dog park was an added bonus which was about a 3-5 minute walk from the cabin. Thank you Trip and Anita for opening up your cabin to families like ours!

It was a perfect place for us to stay over the weekend. The location is very close to Southlake Tahoe, downtown and the casinos.

Vicky's place is a great place to stay and in a great location only 5 mins from the main strip in SLT. Love that it's a dog friendly place and it's super clean. They have a nice big back yard to bbq, hang out with friend and your fur babies. Would most definitely recommend this place anytime of the year!!!

We had a great stay at Sarah and Keith’s place! The location was beautiful and close to restaurants and the lake. We even got to see a bear across the street from the comfort of the balcony in the home. It was a wonderful experience with a baby and a dog, and we’re definitely considering making this an annual trip at their place. There were some TV connectivity issues early on, but Keith was really helpful and FaceTimed us, walked us through it, until it was fixed. Would recommend!

Chelsea's home is as advertised. My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect setting for a quiet birthday celebration for my dad. We all were able to enjoy the lake and the peaceful scenery. The bedrooms were a nice size and the restrooms were clean. The mattress in the main room was a bit too firm for me. I decided to sleep upstairs on one of the softer beds. There are grocery stores 10 minutes out so we utilized the kitchen for most of our meals. The kitchen had everything I needed. The house manual was easy to follow and included some information on pet-friendly beaches which we appreciated since we had our pup with us. I LOVED the private beach access and dock. We had our paddle board and kayak and spent a lot of time in the water. My daughter enjoyed jumping off the dock and making friends with some of the other kids there (not a lot of kids...just the right amount to keep her entertained but not overwhelm me). I hope to make this trip an annual event!

We had a great time at Nancy and Becky’s place! We loved the wide open space for our pup to play, and enjoyed meeting all of the other pups and guests. We would definitely stay again!
