Vacation rentals in Sancton

We travelled as a group of 4 ladies for a big birthday, the brief was (ideally!) a peaceful and cosy cottage with a log burner & hot tub. We’d hoped to find a place that would tick at least a couple of boxes but were amazed to find that Darla’s seemed to have them all. From the very 1st contact, the host, Carol was friendly & informative, she genuinely wanted to make our stay there perfect. We arrived to a (rather magical) snow covered Darla’s. It was spotless & so cosy with soft lighting, music and personalised gifts for our friend. Darla’s has everything you could ever think to need & Carol provided the best welcome pack any of us had ever seen. The cottage is a funky treasure trove of hidden surprises, it was thrilling to be there as an adult & can only imagine the joy that visiting would bring to a child. We loved chilling in the hot tub & the cosy nights by the fire. In short, if Darla’s is available for your chosen break, book it, beware though, it sets a very high bar to beat!

We spent Christmas at Rodica's place and she made sure that it felt just like home. She managed to decorate for us and the place was spotless. Communication was great and whenever we had an issue or query she was very responsive and went out of her way to accommodate us. We look forward to another stay soon.

we had a fabulous weekend to celebrate our daughter's 40th birthday. house was beautiful everything as the photos, hot tub was a great bonus. we will definitely be booking again, thank you so very much. ♥️

Just back home from a very relaxing short break. No problem at all. We would be happy to return...although probably in warmer weather. Amazing location for walking or, indeed, just sitting and admiring the views. if I had just one suggestion, it would be to the site itself ...feed the hamster and get some better lighting on those signs lol. we arrived after dark and finding the caravan was a fun half hour hahaha.

Fantastic lodge. Check in was easy and communication from Tom with extra information was very helpful. The lodge was clean and clutter free which we needed as I have an 8 month old. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you to Tom and his family for being great hosts.

This was the first time here, it was absolutely amazing complete home from home even for our little ones too. Ann and Trev most definitely are superb hosts. Thankyou for the children's gifts too. spotlessly clean, plenty of toys for the children, equipment for everyone. A brilliant place to stay - everything is on your doorstep. The house is very comfortable and extremely well equipped - everything you could need is provided . Communication was excellent and everything was very clear. Would definitely recommend

We had the pleasure of staying here for new year and it was the perfect place in a great location for walks to the beach. The house had everything we needed and we loved staying there!

Great place to stay, this was our 2nd visit, place is clean & has everything you need. TV & access to films a Bonus in November where relaxing between outings is a useful option. Great base camp for surrounding areas, Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington. Jessica kept in touch & offered an earlier check in as cleaning was finished ahead of time.
