House vacation rentals in San Sebastián de La Gomera

We were a weekend that coincided with the festivities of San Juan. Very good atmosphere during the afternoon and evening, with music and dance. Too bad we couldn't stay to see the fires even though the owners had the detail to send us a nice video of it later. The house is large, excellently located, quiet, clean and tidy. The meals were done outside but the kitchen is well prepared to eat. Various restaurants with good value for money very close to the house. The owners were always aware that we were fine in their accommodation. They are very kind. Also the girl who showed us the house. We've always felt great. We appreciate it and would definitely repeat it.

Great apartment high up in La Calera. The apartment is very well equipped and has a nice, sunny terrace. At night, you can see the magnificent starry sky. Peter is very friendly and a pleasant host. The location of the apartment is very nice quiet and relaxing. The place is great for hiking. It is 15-20 minutes to walk to the valley/ for swimming in the sea. Thanks so much for the nice days!

We spent 2 very nice weeks at Casita Blanca. The apartment is functionally furnished, there is everything you need. From the large terrace you have a wonderful view of the sea. The location is excellent, short distances to the beaches in Valle Gran Rey as well as to shops and restaurants. The approx. 80 stairs to the apartment offer an opportunity for a daily small fitness exercise. Karo was always available and provided us with good tips. We would come back anytime.

A quiet stay, with beautiful views, ideal for resting. The facilities were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed, and the house cleaned. We spent the days of traveling around the island, but we also enjoyed the house of some very nice sunrises and sunsets, we saw the stars perfectly, we had breakfast outdoors... We were very comfortable.

The place is really beautiful. We ended up staying in the bigger Residencia B directly next to the pool. So this review is not for Casa Balcones. The kitchen is well equipped and there were fresh flowers, wine and some local food when we arrived. The view is great. The house is located on a golf course and is really quiet. Shops and restaurants can be reached within 10 minutes in Playa Santiago. We enjoyed relaxing days!!

We were very satisfied with a group of 6 people for 9 nights in this beautiful accommodation and overall very satisfied. Great location, good facilities and lots of space. Especially the lowest semi-open floor and the large terrace with the pool was wonderful! I think it can hardly be much nicer in the region for a group! Accordingly, also more expensive - but overall reasonable. Landlord easily accessible and hard-working. Not so good: the parking situation a little difficult, as well as walking to the small village very steep - if you are not good on foot, you can quickly reach your limits here. The electrics in the house have led to problems with oven and dishwasher 2x. The grill on the terrace is no longer contemporary and in the best condition - therefore difficult to use. A hot tub is available but does not work (but is not advertised fairly). For us, the accommodation was very good despite small deficiencies, met expectations and we will come back again.

The beautiful bungalow with great garden of Elias and his family is like a little oasis in paradise. We have been coming to La Gomera for over 15 years, this was the most perfect place for us to stay with the best host you could ever wish for. He had even bought everything for us for breakfast, also there was already fruit and even cold beer, yeah it really couldn't be better! :) The cute pool is a dream, after every hike and even without. :) The location is perfect, quiet and yet you can walk to the beach, restaurants and bars in just over 5 minutes. Elias has always been well informed about everything and is a very warm and really lovely host. We can't wait to stay with him and his family again! 😀

A beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the time here. There are so many beautiful corners in the apartment - the balcony, the small garden, a sitting area, the dining table... then a really nice kitchen, a comfortable bed. I don't know what else would need. We even had bananas and oranges ready on our arrival. We already miss our cozy oasis in Hermigua and will definitely come back. P.S.: It is ideally located as a starting point for hikes, but also to work from home - the Wi-Fi never let us down and was extremely fast

Lovely renovated house from the older times, felt cosy and comfortable for a week long stay. Very well equipped (more than expected ) and particularly if you travel with small children that I was very pleased about. Great host who gave us useful information. Will be good for hikers or those who rent a car!

Super nice old spacious house that can certainly accommodate two families! There are bathrooms and kitchens on every floor. From here you can go on very nice hiking tours in the national park. Very nice host who is always available to answer any questions!

Nice little house! Everything you could need was there. It is quiet and you are just down on the beach or in the village by car. Egon was very friendly and helpful. To discuss, you can only get to the property via many steps. There were four of us (all adults), for that I have to say I found the house a little too small, as e.g. the terrace actually only has room for two. But definitely recommended for two or a couple with a child.

Welcoming host who gives recommendations on things to do on the island. He is very responsive to messages. The accommodation is clean, quiet and has a beautiful view of the ocean and the valley. The beach with a small restaurant (which I also recommend) is nearby. Pleasantly surprised to find a complete first aid kit that was useful to me following a fall. I highly recommend if you want to recharge in a quiet and peaceful area.

Very happy with my stay in this beautiful little house in La Laja. Perfect place to disconnect, relax and enjoy beautiful trails offered by the place and the island. The views are amazing, and the ability to have breakfast looking at the mountains my favorite part. Elsa was very attentive and made sure we were okay. Excellent and very nice communication. It was only annoying that the water was turned off unnoticed due to construction work. We couldn't wash our laundry completely. Dryer and drying rack for inside!! Clean, well furnished, quiet, parking right in front of the door, great area.

many cars pass by during the day due to the location. But that doesn't bother you in the garden and at night it's totally quiet, so we slept even with the window open.

We had a good stay. The property matched the description and was what we were looking for. It’s in a very quiet location. The house still seemed newly renovated. Having a dedicated parking spot for a small car or compact SUV right at the house was very convenient. We recommend this place.

We spent almost 2 months in the apartment rented by Isidro and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is perfect for a long stay, it is large, well equipped. It feels like home. It is very quiet and the view from the terrace is beautiful. We were hosted very well by Isidro, as well as her mother who lives on the 1st floor of the house. They offered us bananas, avocados, and also local pastries. We will keep a great memory of it:-)

Beautiful place, very relaxing. We loved the outdoor dining on the cosy roofed terrace with a view. Tall people need to tuck their head in when entering the kitchen and the bathroom, but that’s very much worth it. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen, obviously by people who enjoy cooking - and coffee.

We spent some very pleasant days. Good reception, very friendly, the house with nice views, quiet area, with private parking... Highly recommended!

Very good stay, with private terrace. Request to make a good shopping list. Hospitality is generous all grocery needs are on site, it's delicate, you feel very welcome, and very well lived in front of the characteristic of location. When you leave in the morning you need a clear program. In winter the sun arrives a little late. So for summer it's a big advantage. It's great for either nomadic worker or hikers. The owners are very considerate. We are in the middle of nature, Too bad the landscape is charged with public lighting on the roadway, I would have liked to see the valley go out with the night. For safety it is reassuring although not necessarily continuous. There are places in the world where for every street lamp has a motion detector that accompanies the commute. This arrangement requires another form of electrical wiring, and therefore reduces electricity consumption
