House vacation rentals in San Sebastián de La Gomera

We were a weekend that coincided with the festivities of San Juan. Very good atmosphere during the afternoon and evening, with music and dance. Too bad we couldn't stay to see the fires even though the owners had the detail to send us a nice video of it later. The house is large, excellently located, quiet, clean and tidy. The meals were done outside but the kitchen is well prepared to eat. Various restaurants with good value for money very close to the house. The owners were always aware that we were fine in their accommodation. They are very kind. Also the girl who showed us the house. We've always felt great. We appreciate it and would definitely repeat it.

The Casilla is very cozy and practically furnished, with enough space and a large terrace. Everything is as described and seen in the photos. Very nice contact with landlord Peter and Caro on site. The Casilla is very quiet. However, one thing you have to know: the terrace of the casita above is exactly above a part of the apartment, especially the bedroom. If chairs or loungers are moved there, the noise penetrates down more intensively. If you are sensitive to noise, or if you like to sleep for a long time and the neighbors use their terrace in the morning, this could lead to problems.

It was a wonderful time in the casita. The cottage is very well equipped, very clean and has everything you need for the holidays. Caro's service and also the pool service excellent. We almost always cooked and felt very at home. If you live similarly, however, you should definitely rent a car, as it already takes some strength to take the purchases up the mountain of Calera and an additional 86 steps. But the view of the valley and the tranquility and seclusion up there in any case compensate. It's a pity we were only able to stay for 1 week as it was already booked. We'd love to come back! 👍❤️👍

A quiet stay, with beautiful views, ideal for resting. The facilities were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed, and the house cleaned. We spent the days of traveling around the island, but we also enjoyed the house of some very nice sunrises and sunsets, we saw the stars perfectly, we had breakfast outdoors... We were very comfortable.

We were very satisfied with a group of 6 people for 9 nights in this beautiful accommodation and overall very satisfied. Great location, good facilities and lots of space. Especially the lowest semi-open floor and the large terrace with the pool was wonderful! I think it can hardly be much nicer in the region for a group! Accordingly, also more expensive - but overall reasonable. Landlord easily accessible and hard-working. Not so good: the parking situation a little difficult, as well as walking to the small village very steep - if you are not good on foot, you can quickly reach your limits here. The electrics in the house have led to problems with oven and dishwasher 2x. The grill on the terrace is no longer contemporary and in the best condition - therefore difficult to use. A hot tub is available but does not work (but is not advertised fairly). For us, the accommodation was very good despite small deficiencies, met expectations and we will come back again.

The beautiful bungalow with great garden of Elias and his family is like a little oasis in paradise. We have been coming to La Gomera for over 15 years, this was the most perfect place for us to stay with the best host you could ever wish for. He had even bought everything for us for breakfast, also there was already fruit and even cold beer, yeah it really couldn't be better! :) The cute pool is a dream, after every hike and even without. :) The location is perfect, quiet and yet you can walk to the beach, restaurants and bars in just over 5 minutes. Elias has always been well informed about everything and is a very warm and really lovely host. We can't wait to stay with him and his family again! 😀

Beautiful and calm accommodation. Perfect to relax and enjoy the island of La Gomera.

This little house was absolutely perfect for the two of us and a 6 night stay. A well furnished, proper house with private outdoor areas in a lovely garden that felt like home. The bed was very comfortable, as was the sofa which were great after a day spent walking in the amazing countryside. The hosts were very kind and helpful when we had queries. Hermigua itself is a stunning base, with all amenities. We really enjoyed restaurant Tasca Telemaco which was luckily only a short walk from the house. I would love to return here and enjoy la Gomera another time.

A wonderful house, centrally located in the district of Las Poyatas of Hermigua and yet very quiet. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The house has something magical, enchanted. You can still discover something new. In any case, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time. A heartfelt thank you to Hector!

The location of the accommodation was perfect for us: in the middle of the most beautiful corner of Valle Gran Rey and good starting point for our hikes: we hiked directly from the house to the sea and back again. Another tour went back from Chipude to the property. For this purpose, the accommodation is very cozy and tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a stay. The view is fantastic, the bed super comfortable and the contact with Isa super pleasant and friendly. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful week at Casa del poeta. The finca is beautifully situated in the countryside and invites you to relax. Everything is very quiet and relaxed in Los Granados. The nearby supermarket has everything you need and by car you are down on the beach in 5 minutes. Our 5-year-old also enjoyed it, especially the large terrace, the sheep and the river in Baranco were a highlight. I'm sure we'll be back. 😊

John is a likeable, friendly and very hard-working landlord. he took care of our concerns and resolved an issue for us that was not commonplace. we were even able to borrow his gate. the apartment was spacious and sparkling clean and the kitchen was much better equipped than any other kitchen we have ever seen at AirBnB. John's apartment also has a beautiful view of the valley and the Atlantic Ocean. Hermigua itself does not have a real beach and is a place for hiking. To get to the mountains and the apartment, you should definitely have a car. We enjoyed the stay and the contact with John very much.

We have spent almost a week at Thomas place. It did fulfill all expectations. It is a tranditional Gomera house with an upgrade. It ie indeed tuly equipped, very clean and incredibely charming. I woukd recommend it to anyone who likes peaceful authentic places.

Nice little house! Everything you could need was there. It is quiet and you are just down on the beach or in the village by car. Egon was very friendly and helpful. To discuss, you can only get to the property via many steps. There were four of us (all adults), for that I have to say I found the house a little too small, as e.g. the terrace actually only has room for two. But definitely recommended for two or a couple with a child.

I had a lovely time staying at Casa Ondina. The view was breathtaking, the terrace huge and very sunny even in January. Manuel had left a leaflet with walks around la Gomera that proved to be very useful. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped. Special mention to the filter coffee machine. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars for the location is because I didn’t have a car and Hermigua is a bit isolated. The wifi was working well enough for me to work but I had two very short power cuts and the upload and download speed were about 10 and 5 so much lower than in other areas in the Canary Islands but good enough for me to work. I would definitely stay there again if I had a car.

Beautiful place, very relaxing. We loved the outdoor dining on the cosy roofed terrace with a view. Tall people need to tuck their head in when entering the kitchen and the bathroom, but that’s very much worth it. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen, obviously by people who enjoy cooking - and coffee.

We felt very much welcomed. Nice little goodies on arrival, which were very much appreciated, since we had not gone shopping since our arrival in Tenerife and were very hungry by then ;o) Being now in Playa de Santiago, we appreciate even more the well and generous equipped house, like oil, herbs, washing powder ect. which you need only in very small amounts and it's so annoying if you need to by larg quantities. Manuel e Maria were always just a text message away when ever there was a question. When we had complications with the toilet once (our fault), we were helped by them straight away, who organised a lovely neighbour and a plumber at once - and this was New Years Eve! Vallehermoso is wonderful in Dec./Jan. We, 2 adults 2 young student adults, had enough space for living and lots to do, exploring the surrounding. Absolutely to recommend. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity to stay in Vallehermoso.

I was not able to stay in property due to sudden and unforeseen family circumstances. The host was really excellent, communication was perfect and I was helped a great deal. I can not say anything about the property itself, but I can recommend the host, very kind, polite and helpful, genuinely a very nice person. If only all host were as good as this one!

The house is located in a very quiet area, close to the beach and all amenities. It's also very spacious and comfortable. The only thing we found was that there were a lot of ants. Otherwise our stay was very good.
