We are just 3 miles from downtown Paso, which offers a wide range of restaurants, shopping, and nightlife, including live music and about 7 miles away from over 60 wineries. The large 2 story house sits on 12 acres of rolling hills with amazing views. The home includes 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. This is a NO SMOKING PROPERTY.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and family-friendly Airbnb! The home was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It was perfect for both kids and adults, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of space to relax. The location was ideal—just a short drive to downtown Paso Robles, yet tucked away enough to enjoy a real sense of privacy on spacious grounds in the hills. The host was incredibly responsive and proactive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. A special shout-out to Kim, who helps manage the property and animals—she was absolutely amazing! Warm, welcoming, and fantastic with both the kids and adults, she made it such a memorable experience by introducing us to the alpacas, pigs, chickens, and goats in a fun, personal way. We’d absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with charm, comfort, and a touch of farm life.

Oak Flat Retreat

Our stay at Oak Flat Road was delightful from the moment we drove up the gorgeous drive way. The house is perched on a hill with a lovely view of the valley below and birds everywhere. There were six of us and all we wanted to do was cook and ride bikes and relax. And Meriam's place delivered. We have stayed at many Airbnb's and this one had the best stocked kitchen we have encountered so far (knives that were sharp, pots and pans that we needed, lots of plates and glasses, even spices and olive oil). This made a big difference to our gang who likes to cook. The beds were very comfortable and the silence—minus the sound of the birds which we loved—was what we wanted. If you want to hang out in town, its not too far a away--a 15 minute drive. Drawbacks? Studio apartment tub shower is really only a tub. Fireplace was finicky and we used all the ice in the ice machine! None of those things where deal breakers. Finally, Meriam was very attentive and kind!

Diane and Mike’s place is like a private little paradise. It’s quiet and peaceful. The view of the sunrise from the bedroom window is nothing short of breathtaking. Nights are clearly visible and gorgeous. You can even occasionally see the rockets from Vandenberg SFB. 10 min from the beach and hundreds of trails. Diane & Mike are incredibly kind and generous, with homemade scones to greet arriving guests and sweet bowls of fresh fruits & veggies from the garden on my doorstep, like a secret garden fairy. Oh, and Bear!! What an absolute love he is! Being here is like winning the lottery. You’ll never want to leave. It’s an incredible thing to find the right match between a peaceful long-term stay and budding new friendships.

I would highly recommend Rita’s place! My dog and I had a lovely time here while in Paso for a horse show. It was private and felt very safe, quiet, comfortable, and inviting. The guest house windows are really nice letting in natural light and airflow. The place was very clean and stocked well with everything you need. Thanks Rita for providing coffee and oatmeal! They even have a lot of hangers in the closet and an iron which is nice. 10-15 mins away from downtown and the horse park which was perfect for me. I will definitely stay again next time in Paso!

This place was absolutely amazing! Between the view the homey feel and the lovely hosts we felt that this trip was overall incredible. The sky at night is a huge plus!! Our kids grew up in a suburb, so they were very happy to spend some time on a farm! When we visited, they had 2 calves at the farm; that was the highlight for the kids, to see the playful calves. They also had goats, chickens and horses. The barn owls were neat to see! The farm has been in their family for several generations, and it was interesting to hear their story from Ty’s perspective, since he grew up on the farm. Thank you Brian for a memorable stay, and thank you for the tasty avocado honey and avocados! We hope to return!

Two of my childhood friends and I stayed at Pauline‘s place for two nights in late March. The place was just perfect for our needs. We wanted to hang out and get reacquainted /chat. The house is very cozy, comfortable, clean and modern. And charming. The weather was on the drizzly rainy side, so we didn’t take advantage of all the beautiful outdoor spaces, but it would be wonderful to be out there spring, fall or summer. The kitchen had everything you possibly could need to make coffee or to make a meal. And each at our own bit of privacy in our own rooms. The beds were very comfortable. I’m very particular pillows. I can’t sleep while gigantic puffy pillows and these were just perfect.. If you want to walk downtown, it was about a 10 minute easy walk. The train ran behind the house. We only heard it like once or twice a day and it was actually quite charming. Pauline left very detailed instructions and responded quickly to any messages sent. Don’t hesitate to stay!
