Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in San Juan County

This cabin was so dreamy! On our drive in, we spotted a beautiful gray fox and a few deer. The forest surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. I thought I wouldn’t like to walk to the bath house, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s only a short walk, and it gives you multiple chances to spot wildlife. The bath house is clean and has everything you need. I especially enjoyed the French press coffee and slow mornings reading in the cabin

This place is an absolute gem and Sheri is definitely a super host. We had stayed at this property previously and the owners have made some upgrades to the furnishings. The place is well curated, balancing comfort, visual interest and refinement. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Sheri is a responsive host that works hard to make sure you enjoy your stay and have everything you need. Having a host that lives on island is great and ensures top notch service

The first thing you notice when pulling in is that there is a lot of creativity and even bigger plans afoot for this unique property. We want to return just to see how Forbidden Island & All of its features continues to take shape. Twin Palms is currently the only completed unit so you get the feel of having a resort all to yourself. No expense was spared on this unit from finishes, decorations, appliances, etc. The care and attention to detail in every respect is simply stellar. There's nothing about Twin Palms we didn't love. Also if you have sensitivity to fragrance like we do in laundry detergents (we always bring our own sheets and towels) there's nothing to worry about here. Everything was scent free. We have never stayed at the same short term rental twice simply because there's so many intriguing options.. We absolutely want to return here.

The house was really comfortable. Very clean and fresh. The view is spectacular, and Katie is really responsive.

Nice house, accurately described, great location! One thing the description doesn't mention is that there are DINOSAURS (made out of driftwood) along the beach, which was a super cool surprise. One thing to note is that the house is close to the refinery, so there are lights at night and some smells, although low tide accounts for some of that and can't be avoided.

Our family get together at Kathy and Donald's home was a comfortable fit for us. Sadly we were not fortunate enough to see any wildlife but walking the grounds looking was very enjoyable. The hottub area was dark and needed flashlights to get to in the evening after a day of travel and shopping - but once in the tub it was clean and so nice. The tv's were in need of repositioning as with a large group of family all trying to watch a movie together was difficult. I would suggest hanging both tv's (master bedroom and livingroom) higher to be able to watch without straining to see. This property is impressive. Access to the beach was fun. My daughter loves sea-glass hunting and found a lot of it around the driftwood. We had plenty of comfortable sleeping arrangements for six of us and a baby. Kathy and Donald responded quickly to any questions and are very friendly. Thank you both.

Hannah's place was marvelous! It was a rainy few days and we were on the island mainly for the film festival, so we didn't get to spend as much time in the garden or out on the back porch as we would have liked, but the room was so cozy and the bed was super comfy! Hannah was super nice and provided us with everything we needed. We hope to come back to spend some warmer, sunnier days :)

The “Crow’s Nest” was lovely! This cozy little upstairs suite that has all you need and an absolutely stunning view overlooking the West Sound. Great communication from the hosts. Loved the little octagonal windows, fireplace, and solving the dinosaur puzzle.

The stay was more than I could ask for and the location was in the middle of everything which made travel very easy. This location and the interior design is definitely worth the experience

Although we felt the booking was a bit overpriced for off-season, the place was spotless, it was in a great location with lots of restaurants and shops close by, with all of the amenities anyone could need during a stay. We did feel that the shades were a bit too see-through so we had to be careful to undress and dress in the bathroom so we would have complete privacy from the outdoors. But that being said, everything else was really quite fantastic.

This house was a great fit for our family. Close enough that we could enjoy Eastsound and all that Orcas has to offer, but secluded so that we could rest and relax when at the house. Suzanne and her husband were extremely kind and helpful. Would recommend!

Ruthie’s oasis was one of our favorite AirBnb stays ever! It was so spacious, so comfortable, and her garden was absolutely stunning! She even had baked rhubarb pie for us, from her rhubarb garden. She was so king, accommodating, welcoming and her home is in the most beautiful, private area. It takes less than 10 minutes to get most places on the island and her patio/hammocks were such a nice place to relax. Will definitely be back to her place!

Perfect! Cleanliness, simplicity, and tasteful decor! Easy access to everything. Enjoyed our drive around the island! Beautiful. Met so many warm and friendly people!

Very nice place, clean, spacious with comfortable furnishings. It is an annex to a garage building but looks out over some woods. Easy walk to town.

Leith's studio apartment is quiet, yet a walk around the corner from the main street. The views of the East Sound and surrounding landscape from the high up deck are beautiful. The interior is artfully well-appointed and equipped.

perfect stay for 1 or 2 when visiting san juan island! my best friend and i felt right at home here and loved how close it was to downtown friday harbor. we chose to drive everywhere since we had a car but could see how everything is easily walkable from this place. we enjoyed great dining recommended by leslie and mike and had an amazing time :)

Thomas’ place is in a great location - easy access to the ferry terminal and all that Friday Harbor has to offer. Communication with the host was very prompt. The listing description was clear and we had all the amenities we needed and more! Would definitely stay here again!

Great location! If you want to be near Friday Harbor, this is a great option. The space is perfect for two people. A defined kitchen/eating space, nice bathroom, and sitting area in addition to the bed. The bedding was super comfy too. Would definitely book again!
