The most gorgeous view I’ve ever seen from an Airbnb! You have the ocean view from the house and right across the street is a small serene lake. We stayed here after a day of whale watching in Anacortes; house is in a convenient location while still feeling “away from it all”. The home and furniture is also very comfortable and cozy, perfect for families. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

We've been staying at Julie's and Peter's place/s for close to 15 years now. They are unsurpassed in the quality of attention to detail, added amenities, and communication when it comes to vacation homes. We woke up this morning and I said, "They did it again. We walk in, we settle, and we feel like home." We don't ever feel this comfortable anywhere else, and frankly, don't want to return home. My husband thought about going out to buy a kite, and I said, "I bet there's one here." There were two! Plus, the West Beach walks with the views in every direction at this location are something else. Thank you for sharing your magic, Julie and Peter - our kids have practically grown up vacationing on Whidbey thanks to you.

This Eastsound home on Cascade Bay, adjacent to Rosario Resort, is a perfect San Juan Island getaway. Despite the resort's proximity, it's extremely quiet and private. The view of the bay and marina from the deck is wonderful, offering a picturesque backdrop. The home is comfortable, spacious yet cozy, and well-appointed with thoughtful details. The bathrooms are stocked with soaps and lotions, and the kitchen is fully equipped with herbs, spices, and cooking oils. High-quality linens, including towels, sheets, and comforters, add a touch of luxury. The location is ideal for walks and hikes, with Moran State Park nearby. We enjoyed hiking around the beautiful Cascade Lake. A minor downside was the 4 pm check-in and the lack of response to our request for an earlier check-in. However, the 10 am checkout was convenient for our ferry schedule. Travel Tip: Plan your trip to Orcas Island in advance. Secure ferry reservations through the Washington State Dept of Transportation website

Our recent stay at this amazing house, hosted by the absolutely wonderful Gramma Rikki, was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The location was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed breathtaking views and easy access to all the island's treasures. Whether we wanted to explore the vibrant town, hike scenic trails, or simply relax and soak in the tranquility, everything was conveniently within reach. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the incredible hospitality of Gramma Rikki. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their genuine kindness and attentiveness made us feel like valued guests, and we truly appreciated their warm and welcoming spirit. The house itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the island. Very clean, comfortable, and well-kept 2nd floor corner unit. The location is great for exploring Moran State Park and eastern side of the island. The host provided very helpful directions to the location and communication was prompt. I would happily stay here again.

A beautiful setting and a comfortable home! The hosts were really helpful and Joe made a special effort to let the kids in our group meet the goats (thanks Joe!). Great recommendations for activities and hikes, too.

Watched the spring begin on this lovely peaceful farm with green meadows bordered by towering trees. Watched bald eagles courting from the front patio and could lie in bed listening to the peepers peep all night long. The house has a great layout with southern exposure . Lopez Island has some of the most beautiful oceanside parks and hikes in the world.

We were very grateful for Yuri’s detailed notes regarding finding the condo, getting in, being extra careful about all the tree sap, etc. We especially loved his descriptions of the local restaurants, sights and activities!!! We followed his recommendations and had excellent meals and adventures. The place is filled with his wife’s incredible art. We both feel renewed from our week on Orcas Island!
