The place was as described. It is located close to stores and casual-dining restaurants. I found it to be ideal for a work-trip , where one wants to stay in and prepare meals instead of going out. The proximity to the major street is not a noise issue for sleeping, as the bedroom faces the back of the building.

A very clean and comfortable 3-bedroom apartment. Surrounded by other apartments but very quiet. I highly recommend it.

Serena and other hosts are very responsive through the chat, and the place is great to stay. Easy to drive around the city and we are enjoying our stay here.

I was extremely satisfied with Roman as a host. He was always responsive at any time during the day. He also cared for my packages so that they don't get stolen. The place was even better than the pictures with new couches and renovated bathroom/bedroom

I spent a week here when my own apartment was under renovation. It was great! Very cozy, but had everything needed to live my daily life uninterrupted. I got to meet LaurieAnn and she was very kind. I will stay again if I need a place in Oakland. Thanks LaurieAnn!

Great place to stay. Was a little worried about the mail slot in the front door but nothing happened. Great location with a bus stop right at the corner.

If I could give a rating of 6 stars, I would. This is my go-place when I have to be in the Bay Area.....if it is available. Peaceful is amazing to work with. It has a great location, gated parking, very comfortable bed and more

We stayed here for a month, and it was a great experience overall! What really stood out was Michael’s kindness and attentiveness - he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. He provided lots of essentials for our toddler and even replaced the shower head, which made a huge difference for our extended stay. He was always quick to respond, sent someone to fix things the same day, and restocked kitchen and bathroom essentials whenever needed. The place is in a quiet, safe neighborhood and was spotless - seriously, one of the cleanest Airbnbs we've stayed in! The kitchen is well-stocked, which was perfect since we cooked a lot. You do hear some noise from upstairs during the day, but they keep quiet at night, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Thanks again, Michael, for making our stay so comfortable!

Ramil's place was located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, yet still close enough to San Francisco that traveling back and forth throughout the day was easy to do. This location was also only 15-20 minutes away from the Oakland airport. If we return to the Bay area anytime in the near future, I'll definitely be looking at Ramil's place again!

Had a great stay at Shimmy’s place! Large, beautiful space with all the details considered. Lovely quiet building in a great area convenient to everywhere I wanted to be.

I enjoyed my time at Audrey’s place. They are centrally located and the backyard is a beautiful place to work or unwind. Audrey, Jordie, and the pups were very friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend their place for any guest visiting Oakland.

The apartment in the lower level of the host's home is perfect -- comfortable beds, useful amenities, lovely back yard to enjoy. It is in a quiet neighborhood with free parking on the street. We did not need to take public transportation since we had a car. We would also uber on occasion if we did not want to park in the city. Charlesie is a wonderful host. She is so proactive and responsive. Tedd baked scones for us! This trip renewed our love of San Francisco.

This home has an incredible view of the city and is in a quite neighborhood. Living area and bedrooms were great, would definitely stay again!

A private mini-apartment with everything you need. I appreciated there was both an AC unit and a heating unit (which I had to use cos it was chilly), and that I got a small toothpaste among the other toiletries as this is something I didn't bring. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I specifically picked a window-less room to be away from the street noise and it worked splendidly. The outside area is not the prettiest, but it's conveniently located. The check in instructions are super clear—even if you're 100% jetlagged, you'll make it.

Super charming place with amazing landscaping, ideal location, and exactly as described. Katina was communicative and friendly. Will almost certainly stay there again.

Our stay at Carl’s place was fabulous!! We loved the area and the walkability was amazing. The Chase Center is down the street; it offers a beautifully designed green space right by the water. Carl was a delightful host and the unit was well appointed. We LOVED having Gus’s Community Market right next door. What a treasure!!! We will definitely return:)

Joelle and Sandra showed what a true superhost is. They are very friendly and responsive. They really pay attention to details (which I would not elaborate so other guests can find out themselves) to make your stay better. It is a great listing (two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a great living area) and my family of four had a wonderful stay there. I felt like a local resident. This is something hotels will not be able to provide. Strongly recommend it if it is within your budget.

Dylan & Alex’s place was a perfect place to stay while visiting SF! It felt very central and easy to get to a lot of places; and its proximity to Golden Gate Park was an added bonus! The backyard area was beautiful and felt like an escape from the city!

Beautiful place. It was like staying at a high end hotel with extremely prestige facilities. The gym was first class and the pool AMAZING. Greatly enjoyed going to the gym and swimming in the pool every day. It was like having a private pool as NOBODY uses it. I would definitely stay in this place again.

Second time staying here, would highly recommend for staying in SF. Clean, spacious and great value.

Shea’s Victorian home was amazing. It was such a beautiful home staying right in the Mission district. We loved our San Francisco stay and being able to walk to taquerias, coffee and parks.

This is actually run by the Donatello as a stealth account - pretty weird, but the staff is fantastic and overwhelming helpful and positive. If you have a conference at the Moscone Center, this is the best price, location, and quality ratio out there.

Cory's quiet cottage was in a perfect location - steps from Castro street shops, restaurants and transit. Getting into the unit was a breeze - It was restful and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The thoughtfully decorated unit had lots of extra touches, including big-screen TV, full sized washer-dryer, double shower, and the luxury of a hot tub at the end of the day! We look forward to staying at Cory's place on our next trip to SF.
