We had a very nice time, nice space, very clean the pool, you enjoy the common areas, you have a great time in large groups.

This home is more beautiful in person than even the pictures show. Everything is well stocked, extremely clean and the setting is as tranquil as it gets. You just have to know going into it that you are staying in the jungle. There is a long dirt road getting to the property and power will go in and out. Again, this is the jungle. We had an issue with our power that was out of the norm and Josue with the property management company went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. I would absolutely stay here again to experience luxury in the middle of the jungle. You can see toucans and monkeys right in the backyard with hummingbirds and butterflies flying about while you swim. It is definitely a must see.

A luxurious and tranquil home close to all the activities in the area. We absolutely loved our stay. I can’t recommend Catherine’s home enough. Catherine is lovely and super responsive. Her recommendations in the area are fantastic.

One of the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Absolutely stunning house with beautiful large swimming pool. Rolando was super helpful in organising all our activities including the chef for Christmas Day (who was truly wonderful). We loved the speciality coffee place (Cafe Vivo) near the house and Ingrid’s restaurant recommendations. The sunset horse riding on the beach was a highlight of our stay. Would love to come back!

Cristina’s place was great! Peaceful and private. Enough space for the entire family! The pool was great. We got to encounter monkeys playing in the trees which was amazing. Cristina is very friendly and replies quickly. She is very accommodating and helpful

Casa Laka is a terrific house and property. Everything is exactly as it is described and appears on the listing. Benjamin and Cris (and Esteban) were terrific in communications and assisting in getting to and opening the house (upon arrival) and I cannot recommend this property and this team enough. The house is very clean, quiet, and situated high on the hillside with great views of the beach and ocean down below as well as the rainforest jungle surrounding the area. I have rented several houses/properties in the Uvita area and would put this at the top of the list. From the day I booked the house to the moment we left, it was a completely transparent and seamless experience and the property is terrific. I will be back and highly recommend this listing to anyone reading this review.

This property surpassed our expectations for our 2 1/2 week stay. The house itself is clean and simple, with basic kitchen supplies, two-burner stove, towels, etc. Not a lot of extras. But there is enough and we enjoyed cooking there. We also slept very well. And the outside space, as has been described by others, is stunning and what made the visit so special. We felt we were in a private paradise, and enjoyed the pool, the outdoor showers, the tranquility, the occasional wildlife sightings and the breathtaking views. The location was great for us, since we enjoyed Dominical and several other nearby beaches. The one caveat is: best to arrive for the first time in daylight. We had a hard time on a rainy night and didn't realize it would take up to 10 minutes in our 4x4 to get up the winding, rutted mountain approach road. The caretaker, Franklin, came and guided us up the final leg. Finally, Jim is very communicative and we look forward to coming back. Pura Vida!

Very unique, charming home with incredible location. The cliff overlooking the water was so private and relaxing. Very secure gated property. We would absolutely rent again.

Good location for an in town vibe, close to everything.

We had a great stay. The accomadation was very comfortable and as descibed. There is a caretaker, Henry, who stays on the grounds. He was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. If you want to get a little off the beaten (tourist) track then this a great location. The view was beautiful when we arrived and somehow got more and more captivating as our stay progressed, clouds passed by, the city beneath lit up at night and the birds didn't stop doing bird stuff... all in all a wonderful place. Highly recommended.

Roberto's house is really lovely, just like the pictures. It has tall ceilings and a nice big open kitchen, which gives the feeling of spaciousness. We come to this area often and have mixed experience with restaurants, but Roberto's house is a short drive from a fabulous restaurant (Seba's) so it was a big plus for us. The location was great for us this time because the house was really close to the beach for the for a whale-watching tour we reserved. This may seem minor, but I really appreciated that Roberto created a W.A. messaging group for my stay with the management company (sometimes with other companies you end up with three different people messaging over a weekend). Overall, highly recommend.

We loved the house, pool and path to the stream below the house. Lots of mornig wildlife to hear and see. House was well stocked and all amenities including room minisplit AC. The road to the house is rough, unpaved but passable with a SUV though a 4x4 wasn't needed per se. Uvita and Dominical are lovely but many USA tourists in December. Many nice restaurants in both towns. The Bakery just down the road is great for sandwwiches and coffee. Food stores are many but food is expensive-Walmart is cheaper near the San Jose airport. We hope to return soon.

We loved our stay here. It was a great location and a beautiful home. Everything was so nice and easy and Janae was the best host ever. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.

First time my wife and I stayed here. Our son lives very close. This area is very clean and safe. It is close to bus route and a small store is a few minutes away. Area is quiet at night , with few barking dogs. We would stay again.

Very comfortable house, walkable to center of San Isidro. Good privacy, everything was perfect. Sagi set everything perfectly that there was no issues to ask for help.

This is a lovely home. Beautiful design and layout with a pool to relax in while looking out at the jungle view. I highly recommend.
