We had a very nice time, nice space, very clean the pool, you enjoy the common areas, you have a great time in large groups.

Over the years, we’ve stayed in many Airbnb properties, and often, they don’t quite live up to the photos or descriptions. Gail’s place is the exception. The house was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and well-appointed—a truly great value. The property itself was a nature lover’s dream. We were greeted by howler monkeys almost every morning, spotted plenty of toucans, and enjoyed the soothing sounds of the jungle. A special mention goes to Luna, the sweetest and friendliest dog you’ll ever meet. She would stop by to hang out, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was also ideal—just a six-minute drive to the main road and close to Dominical, where we found great restaurants and plenty of activities. We highly recommend Gail’s place and would absolutely stay again!

We had an incredible stay! The home is ideally located walking distance to the Uvita waterfall and excellent restaurants. Ingrid was incredibly responsive to any questions we had and the home itself was even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures would suggest. Nice concept with lots of windows. Private, thanks to lush vegetation, but not isolated. A lot of birds in the area, including a few roosters, heard some howler monkeys one night. Clean and well-equipped house. Daylight hours recommended for arrival. 4x4 is a must in CR. Osa Management does an excellent job. Fast communications. Fruit and flowers in kitchen on arrival. We really enjoy our time by the pool even late at night. King size bed and a better mattress would add a nice touch and make the place just perfect.

wow! Truly the most beautiful Air b&b I've ever been in. This is a gorgeous home and lush property with a lovely pool, outdoor cooking and eating areas, comfortable seats all around, screened in porches, and everything you could want from a tropical jungle stay. We appreciated the air conditioned bedrooms and well-supplied kitchen, plus plenty of towels for showers and the pool. Pro tip: in don't schedule too many activities if you book this place because you'll want to spend time here. We also loved seeing birds (including several toucans), lizards, butterflies, and even an agouti! Thank you Landon, Forest, and the others at Casa Nublar. Amazing stay.

Wonderful stay! The house was clean inside and out. Even bigger than the pictures. Comfortable beds and showers, and the small pool was excellent. A close drive to the beaches, plus some restaurants and mini markets within walking distance. As others have mentioned, there’s definitely some vehicle noise from the nearby highway.

Private, pristine, secure, all amenities you'd ever need. Grounds and pool were impeccably clean. Bedding and furniture were comfy. We saw white faced monkeys, coatis, blue Morpho butterflies and toucans. All these were beautifully backdropped by the whale's tail at Marino Bahia Ballena. This home's architecture, construction, decor, and use of space was the best blend I've seen here in the southern zone. The house is even more spacious than the photos show. We had a group of 7 adults and it was perfect. Plenty of shops and restaurants at the bottom of the road in Uvita. 4x4 is a must. The trip up and down the mountain to the property is scenic as well. I'd definitely book this place again.

My friend and I had just flown in from San Jose to Quepos. We just needed an overnight stay and the host was so gracious and kind to let us stay for the night. The place is so beautiful, private and peaceful. It was clean, comfy and cozy. Highly recommend. Thank you for letting us stay at your amazing home.

The place was close to several beaches and a great location to land before going to your tours. Everything was clean, and everything for cooking was present. The home was very private and peaceful. The pool was just right for hanging out. The washer and dryer were an excellent perk. Loved that there were fans everywhere and air conditioning was a God sent. I would go there again in a heartbeat. There is a pizza place called “La Fogata” that is about 6-8 minutes away that we have been to before. If you like thin crust pizza and lots of choices, I would highly recommend it. There is also a restaurant 3-4 minutes away, with an amazing view of the sunset called “Mirador Don Roger”. Way over priced, service is non existent but go there for a drink and an amazing sunset view. There is a fantastic restaurant called “El Barril” which is on the main road within walking distance with very reasonable prices and great service”. This was our second time visiting Jim’s place. It is such a special property, surrounded by nature. Jim did an incredible job designing and landscaping his home. There are native fruit trees that surround it. Every sunset Tucans visit the property, and we were lucky enough to see Howler monkeys in the distance. This property fills our cup and we hope to return in the future. While we love visiting Domincalito and the laid back beaches, our favorite thing to do while visiting is lounge at Jim’s and take in the beautiful landscape. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

Very unique, charming home with incredible location. The cliff overlooking the water was so private and relaxing. Very secure gated property. We would absolutely rent again.

I really enjoyed my time staying at John’s place, and felt at home and relaxed from the first day. The house is spacious with high ceilings and a lovely cool breeze, the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are nice and comfortable. The big glass doors means that it always feels like you are outside, and you have a lovely view even when cooking. John and his family are also so friendly, there if you need them (even to help with a spider issue 😂), but they also give you so much privacy. The area is beautiful too, so peaceful with lovely walks to little waterfalls and streams. I hope to return one day and would highly recommend.

Very nice place with jungle around. Good location to get to surf spots at Dominical. The rocky road from main road which is leading to property could be tricky as it gets very steep. We managed with just a small SUV-front drive. Would recomend for someone who like privacy and nature :) Thank you

The house was amazing we had the chance to see several animals , monkeys , birds and many others. The place is very quiet and relaxing we hear the river flowing it's amazing.Wouter was welcoming and very available and recommended us places to eat which was all excellent . Amazing views. The outside deck and kitchen are great and make the home feel much larger. Rudy, the caretaker, is super responsive if you need anything. The road and driveway are intimidating the first time but get easier after a couple of trips up and down.

This is a beautiful mountainside property with an unforgettable vista. The manicured lawn inviting of barefeet; pool overlooking the valley inviting of long warm soaks; well situated outdoor kitchen inviting of social gathering. The location was secluded enough to offer complete tranquility-monkeys played on the surrounding trees. The host was incredibly friendly and beyond accommodating-our transportation came in late and she offered nourishment; offered great recommendations for local spots to visit and even provided real-time concierge services; checked in on us appropriately. They made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, this mountainside property was a perfect escape into nature, offering an idyllic retreat with all the comforts of home-Full disclosure, a member of our group has a brittle medical condition and we had to move to a location closer to a medical facility. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views and excell

Change of plans had us scrambling to find a last minute stay Valentine’s Day weekend and almost everything in the area was booked. We can’t believe we lucked into such a beautiful property. Met our needs perfectly and got in just in time to catch a gorgeous sunset. Pay attention to the detailed instructions. They are very helpful from driving in, parking, and more.
