Excellence option as long as and when you don't mind handling 30 minutes downtown, the truth is a very comfortable place and very friendly people. Leaving the house there are very close tendenditas for basic needs. The bathrooms and the house in general are very comfortable and clean. I confess that I was afraid of a review where they commented that there were bedbugs, it is totally lying; there are mosquitoes but with repellent they do not bite you, but that is not only in the house, in oaxaca in general there are mosquitos. Bring mosquito repellent to wherever you are going to stay and if it is in this wonderful place enjoy, a thousand percent recommended. Thank you for everything.

The house is beautiful and the garden is really spectacular. The location of the house is in a quiet area, so it is easy to rest, whether at night or during the day (in the company of Kevin, the peacock, or the delightful and sweet cat who resides on the premises). We loved the landscaping, and can only imagine, with its diverse collection of plants, that it is beautiful year-round. Abdias is an exceptional host! Not only is he a kind and friendly person, he is always immediately responsive and extremely helpful. He really goes out of his way to ensure that his guests are happy, even offering to run to the store for us on Christmas Day. The house is also well-appointed, including the most functional kitchen I have yet to find at any Airbnb.

Our group of six very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Utopia. Our kids liked the grounds and the pool and we loved the view and peacefulness. We enjoyed the host's recommendations, like ordering tacos for delivery and (best of all) contracting the private driver Rangel for the week. Humberto helped us when we needed anything, especially with refilling the drinking water. We went out every day for Oaxaca culture adventures and returned the tranquility of Utopia. The outdoor shower was a favorite feature of mine. We would easily book again.

This host is unbelievably kind. Allowed for flexible check-in and check-out, allowed me to use their laundry machine, and had filtered drinking water in the functional kitchen. they were very sweet and hospitable. 100% recommend!

This apartment is convenient and comfortable. Also, it's very clean. I have stayed a few times in the last two years because the location. It is close to the UABJO, where I take classes and there is a good restaurant on the other side of the apartment. Across the street, there is a shop that sells a lot of stuff like newspapers, oatmeal, water bottles and soft drinks, and snacks. And it's pretty close to the big markets. The air conditioning works well, which is important in the hot months. In everything, good apartment.

A beautiful, large and atmospheric house within walking distance of the center. Very nice also with the open kitchen. We only had one No warm water in the evening, but on the the next day was fixed. Thank you!

The house is super cozy and spacious for large families, my family and I had a great stay at Judy's, even though it was busy always responded and was flexible too. We really appreciate the recommendations and attention.

David’s place is amazing! Trust me when I say that it is everything you want while staying in a small village in Mexico. Pluses: - The views are magical! - The outdoor shower was almost better than the views. Better yet, the outdoor shower has a view! - The house had everything needed for the stay, and it was very clean. Minuses (which are not the fault of the host): - There is a “towncrier” who drives around the village posting announcements starting around 7 AM. It was charming at first but got annoying after two days. Fireworks at night and dogs barking nonstop. This is not the fault of David but should be noted. Bring earplugs. - Beware that there is nothing but stairs and hills. If you have mobility issues then this is not the place for you. - Limited restaurants but there are small shops to buy groceries. Overall, I would highly recommend David’s place if you want to experience a small village in Mexico!

To spend a week at Casa Tobala is a gift. Relaxing, peaceful, beautifully decorated and above all magnificent. This home is a retreat. It is my 3rd time in this amazing place. Come ready to enjoy the beauty of Oaxaca and the peace of San Pablo Etla.

This is a wonderful house for a small group of friends or family, in a quiet residential area. Close to amenities- supermarket, laundry, corner store, small local restaurants. Walk to Centro/Zocalo in 25 min or so, taxi home. Use Didi App for taxi and to get a Pollo dinner delivered. This is an excellent find for longer stays and an authentic experience. It is very comfortable, with a tv/reading room and upstairs patio for coffee/lounging. The host, Aljendro(Alex) is outstanding , helpful and very good with following up after our son landed in hospital with a peanut allergy. He was able to recommend an excellent tour guide, local restaurants and places for day to day needs. Thank you, we will be back!

Excellent option to visit the city. It's just like in the photos, comfortable and with everything you need. Karla communicates with you for anything you may need. I recommend it.

Lovely place comfortable

Sven is a very kind and willing person, Yaret and Mrs. Horte are very friendly and cook delicious! There is unparalleled peace in the Encuentro house. It's a little hard to get to, but it's well worth it. Thank you so much for everything!

It is located in a very central place, it is very nice, quiet, excellent place to spend your vacation there, it is a cabin that is large with everything, it also has hot water and any questions are pending, the only thing we did not love was the pool, it was not clean and we could not get in

The house is beautifully decorated. There's a lovely piano, the pool is solar heated and clean, there are hammocks, and the adobe keeps the home naturally cool and quiet. There are great views of the mountains and the city. There is a little market and a big park nearby. The park has a library for kids and an area with toys. There is also a small hotel next door with a fantastic restaurant called Entre Sombras. The staff at the house is helpful and friendly, but they also respect your space. And Marilee is quick to respond. We all enjoyed our time in this tucked away paradise.

Excellent house, everything is very nice and the pool was always the water with a good temperature

Staying at Bethania's place was a vacation within a vacation. Although we saw a lot of Oaxaca and were never at a loss for what to do, we all enjoyed coming "home." An unexpected and pleasant surprise was how nice it was to come home. The house is beautiful. It's a nice example of local architecture and makes you feel that you are living in the heart of Mexico. It's very private, safe, and calming. We also enjoyed the neighborhood. Right up the road, there's a small store and a restaurant run by the friendliest family. We loved the food we ordered but they also brought us special bread and drinks to try. In the other direction is the Real Cafe, a great place to visit in the evening. Further down are a number of stores, a coffee cart, and a small family-run pop-up restaurant. Walking the neighborhood is an added bonus. While there, we all talked about returning. I write this in hopes it may help make it true.

This is the second time I've stayed at this location. It's in a wonderful location with so many nearby restaurants and attractions, yet private and peaceful. The host on location was very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again--I absolutely love Oaxaca! Thank you for a great week!
