Vacation rentals with a soaking tub in San Francisco Peninsula

While my overall experience was positive, I did notice some discrepancies between the photos and the actual unit. The photos online show a more open space and a conventional bed, but the unit I stayed in seemed a bit more cluttered and had a sofa bed. The sofa bed is outlined in the listing but updated listed photos of the sofa bed and unit itself would’ve been nice to have seen beforehand. As the sofa bed was not too comfortable and caved towards the middle so I ended up sleeping on the folded couch instead of the pullout bed during the duration of my stay as this was more comfortable. The unit was still clean and functional. The location was quiet and the backyard is beautiful, and the amenities provided were as described. I do not recommend walking around too much for safety sake outside of the residential or shopping areas as I had some older men cat calling during the day during on of my walks and used ride shares more than I would’ve liked. All in all great host and clean stay!

The home was in a great location and was exactly as described. Amy was very responsive and the directions upon arrival were spot on. We will be looking to stay here again during future visits!

For starters, this was an incredibly comfortable, beautifully decorated, fully equipped, lovely apartment. But the cherry on top was incredible Urban Oasis in the backyard. The apartment had a huge stone terrace overlooking a lush garden of palm trees and blooming plants, complete with a large Koi pond and water feature. I felt like I had been transported to a tropical island.

This is a wonderful space that looks and feels even better in person than it did in the pictures. Loved the decor and the design. I'd never stayed at an AirBnB where the hosts were present, so that felt a little awkward for me at first -- that said, the hosts were incredibly nice, gracious, and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The AirBnB space is designed so that you can be as introverted/private as you'd like. Highly recommend!

Meirav’s house was great, very clean, easy check in and lovely space for resting. Sunset views were amazing. We enjoyed our stay!

A true five (or six!) star experience. One of the best decorated Airbnb's I've ever stayed in. An older home with character, but renovated to have modern conveniences - high-end kitchen appliances, walk-in showers, and even high-tech toilets. It has a wonderful deck off the kitchen with flowering plants and lots of privacy. Terrific and responsive host who proactively made check-in easy and flexible. Location was fantastic. The neighborhood was great with good restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Access to the rest of downtown SF was a breeze with Uber and Waymo (my father is in his 80s so we didn't try public transportation). My father and I loved our stay and it will be at the top of my list the next time I'm in SF. Perhaps the best overall Airbnb I've ever stayed in.

If you're seeing this rental available for your travel dates —book it. Our week-long stay in this gem of a rental was comfortable with everything we needed. The bonus availability of the second rental next door was ideal for our group. Walkable, ample parking, close proximity to restaurants and grocery stores, and a 12-minute drive to the San Francisco ferry.

This was a great place with a great location! The tenets upstairs are a bit loud and it’s clear he lives there but that seems par for the course for SF. Loved being so close to Alta plaza and felt safe and quiet
