Waterfront vacation rentals in San Francisco

Daryl and William were an excellent hosting team. Daryl proactively reached out to welcome us and William was an incredible property manager, starting our stay off with quite the welcome - fresh flowers and treats from Tartine! The condo was exactly as described and we savored coffee every morning, taking in the ocean front view. The fridge was stocked with water and seltzer. The amenities were all clean and high-end. We were sad to leave! Thank you for graciously hosting us in this lovely apartment.

It was a great place for our family of three. The location is both quiet and convenient. All of the amenities are as described and the elevated outside sitting area provides a peaceful, beautiful view of the ocean.

I am just home after 4 weeks at Karen and Duncan’s beautiful spot, visiting daughters and their families. My husband was with me part of the time. Gorgeous view, from inside or outside on the balcony. Fantastic short walk location near restaurants, wine bars, great walks, ferries, all the village of Tiburon. Spotlessly clean and fresh, excellent water pressure (shower) such a big, comfy bed. Kitchen was equipped with any tool or pan you might need. Hosts were quickly and kindly responsive. I loved my stay and hope to return!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials, including strong WiFi, parking, and bathroom amenities. The location made it easy to get into San Francisco while still having a quiet place to return to. Also great views and near to hiking. What really stood out, though, was the host’s incredible responsiveness. We had a lock issue during our stay, and they went above and beyond—driving an hour and a half to personally bring us a key to the side door to ensure we felt safe. That level of dedication and care made all the difference, and we truly appreciated it. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a convenient and well-hosted experience!

Ben Alexander was an amazing host! From the description of the home to the check-in process, everything just went so smooth no problems whatsoever. I’d recommend Ben as a host to anyone looking to vacation in the San Francisco area. The home was very clean and the views were just jaw dropping. I appreciate the communication and how understanding Ben Is. Seriously, Five Stars all around!! I’m looking forward to returning.

Sheldon’s place is great, it’s well laid out for a studio, big tall ceilings and a great location. I love that everything is labeled and all instructions were extremely clear. This was the perfect space for the work conference I was attending.

This was our first experience using Airbnb and we are so glad we tried it out. Yan’s place exceeded our expectations and she was such a lovely host. Her place is quiet, located close to the beach and shops, and was very comfortable for a family of 3. We will definitely look at using her place again when we are in town. Robert’s place was in close proximity to both downtown Oakland and Berkeley. Sufficient for a work trip!

The property was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations. The daytime views were spectacular, and the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking - perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. We loved how conveniently located it was to both beautiful beaches and plenty of shopping and dining options. This place offers tremendous value for the price, and the layout worked wonderfully for entertaining our family. Parisa was super responsive and fast. We also had a few requests and she was able to help us with. The views are amazing from the back of the house and yard. The house was super clean. We would definitely stay again.

Loved this little bungalow on the hill! The place is super relaxing and quiet. It’s simple, yet had everything we needed. Easy walking distance to Good Earth grocery, Equator coffee, and Hook Fish restaurant. Perfect for exploring the hiking trails of Marin. Would definitely stay again!

Stop looking because this is the place. I can’t convey the view to you in words, and pictures simply do not do it justice. You stay here to stay here. Sure, you can walk to the nearby beach with incredible tide pools and unreal views, or check out the local restaurant, bar, and market. But make time to just be in the space, listen to the ocean and take it all in. The only thing I didn’t like about this home was having to leave.

Thank you very much for a wonderful vacation. The view of the ocean and hills is simply stunning. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset, had a barbecue, the house is very cozy and comfortable. The owner is very attentive and friendly, helped with all issues. I would like to separately note the comfortable bed, we slept very well. And in the morning we enjoyed the singing of birds. We will remember our secluded vacation with love.

Awesome little spot! First time on a houseboat with two young children, and it was great. The beds were cozy and spacious enough. The different levels and roof space were fun. The wifi and audio system were solid, and the fridge had a variety of beverages. The shower was compact and surprisingly pleasant. The heating unit was effective and quiet. No issues. Good stuff.

Stayed here for a date night and it was a pretty amazing. The view is incredible. Definitely an experience, and my date loved it. The condo is very clean and the beds are comfortable and soft. Host is very responsive and was available to us throughout the stay. The only con was the parking. I mean, it’s San Francisco…I get it, but get clarity on the instructions and be careful if you need to double park temporarily, there were cops everywhere when we arrived. All and all it was a wonderful stay!

Logan's place was a fantastic place to stay. I was travelling solo for 2 weeks for work and was initially worried about safety and accessibility (especially given the 100 steps to reach the apartment). But I needn't have worried. The area felt super safe and friendly and the steps were very manageable, even if a bit of a workout. I was rewarded with a great view of the bay from my windows and from the small deck out the front. The apartment was clean, well equipped and had everything I needed for my stay. It was also in a fantastic area. 100 steps down was the Embarcadero and waterfront area with an easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf and the Ferry Building, and 100 steps up and it was an easy walk down to North Beach for great food, wine and coffee. Logan was super responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a fantastic San Francisco experience.

Place was amazing loved waking up to those views

Very bright and open space . Very good for walking . Walk 3 minutes along bay to views of city of San Fransisco, a pretty marina and a little further to views of the beautiful small mountains. Kathleen communication was fabulous .
