The villa is as described. The slopes were a challenge for me because, at 90 years old, I have difficult walking. The villa is on a hillside in a wooded area with a lovely view of the sea. Plenty of places around the grounds to sit and relax. While the building has been restored, it retains original window shutters and curved brick ceilings. Picturesque tiles decorate the face of the building. Rebecca was an amazing host. She quickly responds to any questions one might have.

WOW - WHAT a gem. Casa Querencia was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip to Italy as a family of 4. Josie's place was not only reflective of the description and images but BETTER! The view of Lago di Bomba (swooon), the church bells, the views of the other towns and snow on the mountains. You could literally cozy up with wine and a book and never leave! Josie had everything we needed to dine in, while also SO MANY great recommendations for exploring - like Santa Maria, Lanciano, and Castello Roccascalegna. The town was super quiet given the winter month - but much as we expected, as we had JUST missed one of their holiday parties in the piazza. Casa Querencia would be PERFECT for someone wanting a relaxing, cozy, at-home feeling longer-term rental. We cannot wait to come back to stay - maybe for a few weeks next time :) Josie spares no details and was a PLEASURE to rent from. Thank you for making our experience such a joy!

We booked this apartment for my parents, and they had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything they needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—quiet yet close to the sea. The host was incredibly responsive and made the check-in process seamless. My parents especially appreciated the thoughtful touches that made them feel right at home. Highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great stay!

A great place to relax in silence and surrounded by olive trees. The house is spacious, clean and very well maintained with beautiful views of the sea and trees. You can relax on the terrace or in the garden with plenty of privacy. You can walk to the beach in five minutes where the beautiful Traboccho stands. The house has everything you need and nothing is missing. Marco is a lovely person and very helpful. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely return. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and appreciates peace and quiet.

We loved everything about our stay, proximity to the beach and all the outdoor areas to relax in and the rooftop for some morning yoga and an evening drink was sublime.

This nice wee house - in a quiet village a bit inland from the coast - is comfortable and well-equipped. Paola is a great host who communicates well and makes you feel very welcome.

Location: quiet village ten minutes from Campobasso. Ideal for rest and enjoying nature. You need a car to get around, but it's not a big deal because the traffic doesn't really exist and the roads are good Accommodation: beautiful, country house restored to perfection with taste and modern and functional materials. Very cool even with the strong outdoor heat. Really cozy and functional. Everything new and in perfect condition Host: Carmina Sabina is an extremely hospitable, courteous and helpful person. Very present but at the same time respectful of the privacy of its guests. His tips on local activities are also valuable. Good person and really highly recommended

In other words, how to be in the family. Lovely place, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, with the sea just a few minutes by car. Apartment equipped with all comforts; Outside there is a nice relaxation area under a pepper tree. Graziella and Angelo are super hospitable and youthful, available for anything you need. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back next year.

Great house to visit the surroundings, a strategic place between Sulmona just 10 minutes away and Roccaraso 20 minutes away, Pettorano is a quiet village in a strategic location. The house can be reached after a staircase and offers everything you need, Margherita is very available by phone for advice on what to do nearby. Recommended host!
