Vacation rentals in San Estevan

Great airbnb with a perfect location. I ended up being sick most of my trip but there’s a little store and a pharmacy that are both a 15 sec walk away with a more full size grocery store like 2 min away. Despite being right in the middle of everything the airbnb is actually really quite especially in the back bedroom. The place is even more roomy than it looks in the pictures and everything was clean (plus no ants). Naz is super friendly and easy to talk and tried to be helpful anyway he could. I extended my stay until his next booking and if I’m back in Orange Walk I’ll try to stay here again!

The instructions to get there were out of date. The two ferries had been replaced but the road was under construction. We were late getting into Belize airport so by the time we got to the main highway turn off it was dark. We started down the road but decided to ask some locals about the road. Two different friendly local people said "Do Not Drive that road at night". Luckily we listened to them and got a local hotel room for the night. The road was terrible going to the resort plus the entrance road to the resort was bad but we knew this from others who posted about it. When registering and advising the female clerk, she told us the main road was good and everybody drives it at night during the construction. Not a good welcome. After that encounter, every body else at the resort and outside of the resort were very friendly and helpful.

Only stayed one night, but would be happy to come back in future, nice room with a great location.

Mayan Gardens and Elizabeth (Lizzy) were outstanding. Our host coordinated car service for us and even took us to an incredible restaurant, bakery, and grocery store in Belize City before heading to the property. Property is beautiful and safe, grateful for the restaurant on the premise, A/C, and amazing massage services!!

Michael and Shelley were amazing hosts. We have stayed at many BnB's but both Mike and Shelley and the property surpassed our expectations. We were provided with enough provisions when we arrived that we didn't have to immediately run out to shop. We have never seen this done before to this extent. The pool house is very special and we felt so at home. It is an oasis. They provided us with excellent information on restaurants and places to see. I would also have to mention that they have amazing, friendly staff who we enjoyed meeting as well. Edgar is a great guy and we enjoyed our talks with him. We feel they treated us like family and we now consider them to be as well. We will miss them and the property so much and would definitely stay there again but only for a longer stretch of time. Truly a wonderful experience with the best hosts ever... thank you!!!!

I can highly recommend Peaceful Apartment. 👍👍👍👍👍 Be aware that it's on Guadalupe Street in Trial Farm just north of Orange Walk, not Guadalupe Street more towards the south end of Orange Walk Town. GPS will try to direct you to the south end.

Our stay in Orange Walk was my favourite of our three week trip to Belize. Bart's hospitality and hosting was incredible. We often choose Airbnb stays in people's homes to get a better feel and understanding of what it's like to live somewhere. Bart is a fascinating, warm and generous person who shared so much of his experience and time with us. We learnt a lot about life in Belize, tried new fruits and food and loved hanging out in their well designed home. It's just a short drive from town and it was great to be surrounded by nature and chill in a hammock listening to the birds. The facilities were great, including an amazing shower and a fan was enough to keep cool at night. Bart organised a fantastic trip to Lamanai with a brilliant guide. We benefited so much from our stay. Our only regret was that we didn't meet Barb.

It will be a story with happy ending!! Reservation was pretty smooth and all directions were easy to follow. Unfortunately baby crib that was expected to be ready, appeared as not available. I wasn’t happy about mistake on their website but as it was 9 pm when we checked in, we just let it go and shared disappointment with owner. 30 mins later someone knocked to our door and owner’s son borrowed baby crib somehow for us!! We were very happy!! Next day breakfast was in their hotel 3 km from our stay. Staff helped to park the car, owner and manager came down to apologize and they were super great host during breakfast for everyone not only us!! Fantastic people and place - highly recommended!
