Cabin vacation rentals in Sam Houston National Forest

Great place, great host and a really a enjoyable place. Safe for kids with private roads leading to a beautiful lake. Really peaceful and we loved how clean and designed was the place. We were not too comfortable with all the cameras but we understand the need of the owner to monitor issues. Thanks for letting us stay.

This house was amazing, and the pictures don't do it no justice! The house is simply perfect! From the decor to the comfortable beds and couches. This house was well thought out! We brought extra items only to find everything we brought was already there! Scott the Host was only a quick text or call away and responded almost instantly. We have stayed at many AirBNB homes and this was the best! All of my family loved this property and are ready to stay again. Plenty of parking and everything in the house and outside of the house worked! There was plenty of towels (infact a whole closet) full. Loved the snack basket that was left for us by Scott. I could go on and on and I assure you this property will not disappoint all ages from 2-76 loved every inch of this home and property! The only thing I would add if possible is a book showing the construction of the house, we bet the construction was amazing! Thanks to Scott for making our Thanksgiving 2024 the best one thus far!

This space was very beautiful and peaceful. I appreciated that the space literally had everything you needed,it was very clean,quite and super romantic. I had the opportunity to connect with my husband while enjoying nature. If I could add an addition to the space it would be to cover the patio area so that you can enjoy the outside tub at night without the bugs from the tree above. We will be back, I so appreciated this piece of heaven...thank you for such a beautiful space

This place was absolutely beautiful and what me and my husband was looking for. Quiet and relaxing. Great place to get away from the city. The cabin was clean and cozy. Will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this little cabin. It was very clean and just what we needed for an overnight stay when we came to Houston for the BBQ festival!

I'm so glad me and my family chose this place, it met our expectations. My family and I spent an amazing weekend here. There's a ton of fun activities to do. This was a great place to rest and relax. This was exactly what we were looking for – a peaceful place to gather with close friends and relax on New Years weekend. The house was perfect for two couples to decompress from the holidays. Our son loved the swing out front, and we were all pleasantly surprised by the trail along the back of the property. We took the host's recommendation and went to Teysha Vineyard, which was a really fun way to spend the afternoon. We didn't end up using the fire pit but loved that that was an option. Dana was very responsive and accommodating. We'd love to go back.

We truly enjoyed our stay here, each morning we woke to the sound of nothing 🙂 We walked the property, fished, boated, biked, played horseshoes, and sat on the porch to watch the sunset and stars. We will be back soon!

Great place, perfect for a little getaway. Hosts left plenty amenities from a boat to Kayak to allow for a charming woodsy getaway. The room was cozy, and the charm of the area immaculate.

Great place for a staycation! Was nice to getaway for a bit and enjoy the scenery. The place had everything we could ever need for a private weekend alone.

Relaxing, nature getaway while also having the luxuries of indoors. Jim’s place is definitely a hidden gem. Booked last minute and Jim was quick to accommodate! Will definitely be staying again!
