Cottage vacation rentals in Salt Spring Island

This was our second time staying at Leah’s and it was just as wonderful as we remembered—if not better! We absolutely loved our time, especially spending hours on the dock and paddle boarding. The cabin is beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and so well stocked with everything we needed. Leah is a fantastic host, and it truly feels like a home away from home. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay at the little house - superb location, amazing host, thoughtful touches to the home and great communication. Pender is magical, and the stay made it perfect.

What a fantastic place! From the view to the hot tub to the really great and well stocked space, we had an amazing stay here with everything that we needed. Even some toys for my toddler! This is a real gem and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I could spend days sitting in the sun room or on the deck watching the wildlife and the view. We will definitely be back! Michael’s cottage is an exceptional place in an absolutely perfect location. The main floor of the house is amazing with breath-taking views of Shawnigan Lake. It’s incredibly calm, serene and quiet and the perfect place to cook and relax after a day of hiking. Sitting in the hot tub, overlooking the lake and surrounded by over a foot of snow was an incredible feeling. Everything about our stay was great. Thank you Michael!

This stay was absolutely beautiful! Such a sweet cottage, in a beautiful, private and peaceful location. So comfy and cosy, at the some time as feeling luxury with the hot tub. Would recommend, and will be staying again! Also, the family of deer that visit are so friendly, just magical. A lot of space to do all of the things I enjoy, fire pit, barbecue and a hot tub!

We were very pleased with everything about this rental. The house was decorated in good taste and met all of our needs. Our hosts made sure to accommodate our sensitivity to scents and cleaning products, which we were grateful for!

Our family of three was very comfortable at this cottage for our three night stay. It is a great space and is a great value- clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice and very walkable. The hosts are responsive and friendly and we enjoyed our stay here.

This was a great location to access the ferry. Beautiful sunsets and the occasional seal sighting were experienced from the spacious deck. Pender has lots to see and do.

What an absolute gem! This cozy cottage tucked away on 18 acres of peaceful land was everything we hoped for and more. The space was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated—truly felt like a home away from home. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying coffee surrounded by trees and open skies was pure bliss. The land is stunning, perfect for relaxing strolls or just soaking in the quiet. The host was incredibly kind and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. It’s the ideal escape from city life—private, calm, and full of charm. We loved this place! Definitely worth it and relaxing. Sean was very attentive and friendly. We are already thinking when to come back!

We stayed late March for a bit of spring break and the a lovely time. There was no one staying at the main cottage or the campground so we had the entire property to ourselves. It was very peaceful. The property is beautifully maintained with lots of space to explore. The seals were out everyday. Just a couple minutes drive form the grocery store. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

The street was very quiet. I think there was only one or two other cabins that were being used that week, which means we had a very peaceful stay. We locked out it was also very sunny the entire week. The place was amazing with big windows, it was clean, bright and beautiful. Thank you very much Cheryl. We had a wonderful stay. Looking forward to booking with you again 🙂

We loved our three night stay on Pender. It was peaceful and the cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed the walks and runs from the cottage in the morning. We would recommend this in a heart beat!

We found ourselves in town for a family service and Fiona was the utmost kind and supportive host we could have found. The space was absolutely perfect, spotless, serene, and comfortable. It was exactly as described and made a difficult trip much more easy, especially being by the beautiful ocean. We saw a ton of wildlife so the speed limits are absolutely necessary. Thank you Fiona, we will surely be back in the future.

Walk into the postcard perfect nautical setting, with an active marina, seals and herons at home at the end of the private ramp into the water, and the classy well appointed home. We relaxed immediately on comfortable furniture, with West Coast scenery greeting us out of most windows. Spacious rooms in a compact cottage context. Great kitchen.

Lovely, comfortable place right on the water. The views were incredible, and we saw eagles, seals, and orca, deer and so many birds. Incredibly relaxing stay. We were there 2 nights and it was so refreshing that it felt like a week.

We were visiting the island to spend time with our son over the family day long weekend and had a wonderful stay. Such a cozy little cottage surrounded by natural beauty. Very well stocked kitchen and we immediately felt right at home. Lindsay

Enjoy the peace and tranquility this place has to offer. It was so relaxing to stare out at the wonderful bay and see otters play outside on the docks. I will always remember this place and will 100% come back to it. The host is wonderful and responsive and checked in on me various times to make sure we were enjoying our visit. I wish more hosts were like this! Cannot recommend this place any higher!

An amazing, well equipped cabin overlooking a pristine lake. The cabin is central to the island making it ideal to stay at while exploring Salt Spring! We were able to cook a full meal thanks to the thoughtful stocked kitchen and amenities! Ashley was a delight to communicate and even before we left we agreed we'd return someday.

This was a perfect place to stay for us on a quick overnight heading up island! Beautiful and peaceful location with a stunning sunset. And a visiting bear on the patio in the morning! We will be back.
