Waterfront vacation rentals in Salamander Bay

We loved our stay and would come back. The accommodation is just like the photos, it's clean, beds are comfortable and had everything we needed for the stay in the well equipped kitchen. The floor to celing windows allow you to really enjoy the stunning view. There were lots of thoughtful touches like cereal for breakfast, pantry essentials, moisturiser and hair products in the bathroom, and plenty of washing products in the kitchen. Lots of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the views. There is no air conditioning in the bedrooms but the ceiling fans made it cool and pleasant to sleep.

Absolutely breath taking view, very clean apartment, amazingly stocked kitchen with all the home-like basics you need. We barely left the air BnB as it was the perfect place to hang out and admire the view. We can’t wait to be able to come back and stay again!

This place was amazing. So clean and such a great location. I can’t fault the host she was so accommodating of my whole family including my small cavoodle who she made feel so at home. I would definately recommend this host and place and would stay there again if available.

Mandy's house is exactly as described. We spent a weekend with family visiting from overseas and enjoyed the house and all facilities/amenities. A great peaceful location overlooking the lake. Mandy is a very gracious host who is very responsive and accommodating. We will for sure be back. Thank you, Mandy.

The house is in a great position at lake Macquarie with lots of fun to offer. The house and each bedroom were delightfully decorated to add enjoyment to the stay. It’s a wonderful experience we have had. On the down side I would say if beds could be more comfy with better mattress that would be good. Will appreciate if have more floor towels or mop since floor is wet with lots of water activities expected. Shame we have no bbq we could use but we understand the reason. The main couch is a big old and smelly otherwise the home and stay have been perfect.

Lyn's place was lovely, it was in a great location with the ferry close to travel to Newcastle. The house was very tidy with great amenities, kitchen, BBQ & beds. Lyn offered us local information & was very accommodating with anything that we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for something in this area.

The space was ideal for our family, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Insa was responsive and helpful. This is a very stylish renovation. The cottage is in an excellent location overlooking the channel at Swansea- always something happening but in a good way. Excellent local facilities coffee shops etc Accessibility to the main highway within a couple of blocks but minimal traffic. The house, verandah and particularly the BBQ area is very well set up with everything you need. We will definitely return when visiting our Newcastle family in the future.

We had an amazing stay! Naomi was a fantastic host—great with communication and super helpful throughout. The house exceeded our expectations: beautifully styled, spotless, and really comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Warners Bay with cafes, shops, and the water right there. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot. We’ll definitely be back!
