Vacation rentals in Salamander Bay

Kim was a fantastic host! She made us feel welcome and at home with her hospitality, down to the details of what style of pillow we preferred as well as leaving a handwritten welcome note with homemade slice and Christmas goodies for our children. The cottage was a beautiful home away from home for our Christmas getaway to visit family. It was charming, clean, and wonderfully stocked! Kim even had milk, eggs, cereal, and bread waiting for us on arrival. The cottage is within walking distance to a local coffee shop as well as Speers Point Park. I really can’t say enough good things about our stay; we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Great location! Close to beach and a short drive to shops. Quaint little house, garden was so lovely to chill out in. Highly recommend, will definitely be back

The location was excellent, so close to the lake and the beach. The house was incredible clean and we felt very comfortable with all the amenities. Check-in was really easy and hosts were very responsive. We will return!!

Great clean & tidy place with equipped with everything you need, could have just hung out at the house plenty of room and aircon for comfort, nice to have a plunge pool for a dip too! :)

Apartment was great! Lovely decor and super spacious layout. The building set up with carpark and amenities is a little confusing to navigate initially but okay once you get the hang of it. Great spot, easily walkable to many places and lots of great restaurants particularly along the harbour.

3rd stay and as happy as ever. Would love to stay again. Lorna responds so quickly which is really helpful.

The apartment is on top floor of a small block of 9. The apartment was compact but plenty big enough for 2 . Comfortable bed. Big TV. Tastefully furnished. A little balcony to enjoy the ocean breeze. The location was fantastic, a view of Dutchman’s Beach Bay which is so close, just across the road. It was a 15 minute walk into the heart of Nelson Bay and Marina.

Had a great stay in Shoal Bay. Lovely, stylish and quiet location not too far from the beach and restaurants. Large fenced back yard and balcony very happy to be able to bring our dog along for the long weekend. Would love to visit again in the future.
