Warm and quiet spacious accommodation. Due to the season and weather we were not able to enjoy the garden and the view of the countryside.

What a lovely place in the middle of France! Quiet, lovely and a very friendly hostess, what more could a person want. Recommended!

Fabulous location and a very warm welcome. A little tricky to find due to road closure but once found easy to get to. Comfortable beds and everything was thought of including asking if we needed milk for tea on our arrival. Would definitely stay again. Great views of the viaduct! Well worth a visit.

If you are looking for a quiet and quiet little corner of the countryside, this house is perfect. Close to the nautical base of the lakes of Haute Charente, a nice place for jogging. Great value for money. And great communication with Louise.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Laure & Franck's and we can only thank them warmly for their hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and attention that immediately made us feel at ease. Everything was designed to make us feel at home, and it far exceeded our expectations. The thoughtfully prepared breakfast was a real plus. Every detail counted, and it was felt in the attention paid to every aspect of our stay. Even our little one took full advantage of this parenthesis of sweetness. We really wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy even more of this beautiful atmosphere and warm welcome. It was a timeless parenthesis that we recommend with closed eyes to anyone looking for a relaxing and caring experience. Another huge thank you to both of you for everything. We sincerely hope to return sometime!

Second time I book the place for a quiet little break

We enjoyed our stay at Helen's! On the other hand, I think we would have appreciated it even more in summer… Indeed, with the rainy and cold weather we had a little trouble warming up in the room (living/dining room/kitchen) downstairs, which was just heated by a small fireplace. However, it was very good in the bedrooms upstairs.

Great place to discover the Parc du Périgord Limousin. The cottage is very pleasant and located in a very quiet environment. The great bathroom. Pasha and Rod are very welcoming. Their cathy cat, too. Numerous hikes in the countryside around. Beautiful roads for motorbike rides. And a small beach 2 km away to cool off in the summer. We enjoyed having a space to park our motorcycles and trailer in the shelter. thank you for hosting us!

This is a beautiful big house with design flair and comfort combined. Best place that we've stayed in on our travels. The house is set in a huge lovely garden, surrounded by a naturally beautiful part of rural France. Oren was a superb host. We would love to return one day.

Gite Rouge was a lovely home for us in very rural area of France….it was cosy and comfortable. A car is needed for restaurants etc as there is not much very close by. Thanks for having us

We had such a good time at Clare’s place! It’s in a great location close to a small town, but more importantly, the grounds are fabulous! The lake is very peaceful, and the fish are lovely to watch. The pool is also excellent, and very clean! We enjoyed swimming every day, and eating in the outdoor dining area next to the pool every evening. The house is also fully equipped with everything you need for relaxing evenings. This is a really good place to go for a relaxing break.

We just finished our stay . Amazing stay. A small nests housed in peaceful and beautiful nature. It is a place that I really recommend for nature lovers, trees , birdsong and ponds really bring extraordinary peace. For our greatest pleasure, we even managed to catch fish . We had a warm welcome, it was a really nice meeting.

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.
