Very nice stay. Very nice pool and sauna. Very easy check in and check out because the owners live in the adjoining house of the rented outbuilding which allows them to be immediately available.

Have just had a very peaceful 2 weeks stay at Rebecca’s. What a great host, she gave lots of local recommendations even before we arrived which meant we were able to do some research before hand. This was particularly useful as the first few days as the weather wasn’t great. Brantôme is a must! The house is definitely a family home which made it feel very inviting and we never felt uncomfortable. The house has plenty of space, and while it was just the four of us we wanted the outside space for the dogs who had a great time playing for hours in the very large secluded and safe garden I imagine it would be a great stay for large families. Even tho the weather wasn’t great we still managed to make use of the pool which had comfy loungers etc. It has a nice outdoor space just by the well stocked kitchen for Al fresco dining. Would definitely recommend Rebecca’s if you’re looking for a large inviting family home with lots of activities for small kids and big kids alike.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful, with lovely large garden and good sized pool. The location is very peaceful, but close to the A20 for easy access around the area.

A beautiful place with a welcoming host This old stone decor with an estate with its lakes and this castle among the fields and forests make the stay more than pleasant. Chatting with Paul and his family fill our heads with local history. Richard the heart of the lion and the Duchesses d 'Aquitaine stayed here! I highly recommend this Paul and his domain!

Excellent stay in a large and beautiful quiet house. The pool was really nice during these scorching days. Nicolas is a very friendly and responsive host.

We chose Janine and Mario’s cottage for our 4 week stay as we didn’t know the area and thought we’d like to try Limousin. We chose Janailhac only because it has a depot de pain and a small bar restaurant (both very welcoming)! In reality it far exceeded our hopes. Janine and Mario are great, friendly, kind and supportive hosts who are determined to give their visitors the best possible stay. They provided lots of helpful information about the many interesting and historic villages and restaurants and markets largely within a 25 mile radius so plenty of places to visit. Janailhac is a tiny, pretty, friendly farming village of beautiful rolling fields (and a SuperU at 4 miles). Quiet nights and clean air meant we slept better than in years. The cottage is large and comfortable with a pellet boiler heating system so we were never chilly plus a large open fire place and 2 great hot showers. Well stocked for children with toys, high chair, cot and even a buggy. Highly recommended!

Great house for 2 families, perfect for what we wanted. Lots of seating areas, kitchen was really well equipped. Pool and hot tub awesome. Nearby lake is good for beach and water sports. Hosts were great and gave good recommendation for a food festival in a nearby town. The house is in a very peaceful location, surrounded by countryside, which was great most of the time but if you want restaurants or activities it’s a drive. I would recommend the house though as it’s really well set up for a week with friends or family.

We had a pleasant weekend the place was very soothing and the accommodation was clean and cocooning. The welcome was very warm to us and the visit was fun. The relaxation areas, the library/ media library and the SPA served us very well and it was perfect. In short, we really recommend this cottage which is very warm, welcoming and generous.

Our family had a fabulous week staying at ‘le petit boudoir’. Karyn and John are really good hosts, helping with every query we raised and sharing a lot of recommendations. Hubby was immediately at ease once he realised John is a fellow cyclist! Location was private, secluded (you need a car) and catered for everything a family needs. Swimming pool setting and garden superb and with the gites all together forming an idyllic picture. We loved it! Hoping to come back at some point in the future 🤩 PS. Our 10yo especially loved the donkeys, dogs and cats on the grounds 😊

Beautiful home matches the photos in a sublime and secluded setting. Great for a weekend get-together with friends, I hope to have the opportunity to come back to this place. Jeanine welcomed us very warmly and was very responsive to our requests before our arrival. The accommodation was clean and well-equipped. Quiet place Clean and spacious space I recommend it!

Hosts who are responsive and anxious to provide necessary (baby-friendly) amenities. Excellent communication. The house is located on a quiet street in Limoges, not very busy. Very nice stay.

mireille's house is 100% consistent with the photos. peaceful, very clean, very well equipped. bathroom, kitchen, impeccable toilet. perfect bedding and bed linen. the neighborhood is extremely quiet and secure. even if we came in winter the small fenced garden is very well maintained. our little dog enjoyed it. we will happily return during our next stay in Limoges.

Very nice stay with friends with children. There is everything you need in the garden to occupy both young and old! You will surely enjoy better summer or spring from the outside but a small midnight hot tub in this cool time was very friendly. Tom is responsive if you need information about the space.

welcoming and super responsive host, accommodation perfectly matches the descriptions and photos, I would recommend it without a second thought. the place is very peaceful, we spent a little less than a week with my wife and our two children in a small paradise, super well-equipped accommodation, a large secure swimming pool ideal villa for couples alone or with children. Fabulous location and a very warm welcome. A little tricky to find due to road closure but once found easy to get to. Comfortable beds and everything was thought of including asking if we needed milk for tea on our arrival. Would definitely stay again. Great views of the viaduct! Well worth a visit.

We stayed here for one night and arrived quite late but our hosts were very welcoming and we managed to get round the language barrier. We loved the interior of the property and the enclosed outside space was perfect for our two dogs.
