Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saint Ives Bay

This place made for a great base and was good value; we were on a budget and it met all our needs. Beds were comfy and it never felt crowded with 7 of us staying. We could always get enough hot water and bedding and towels were clean. We never heard any noise outside or through walls. Sandra was very helpful and responsive and it was a lovely touch to arrive to milk, biscuits, tea and coffee.

Excellent and as advertised - Matthew very kindly provided a Christmas Tree and Christmas decorations which were way beyond our expectations. We found everything we required in the house, which has a super location, fabulous private sea views and the bonus of being just minutes away from a number of Cornish attractions, (Mevagissey, Lost Gardens of Heligan etc). An initial issue with no hot water and the heating not working in the Conservatory, but Matthew was instantly contactable and the problems were resolved very quickly.

The property was very beautiful and clean. We had a child with us and the baby chair in the kitchen is very thoughtful. Lana and her daughter was very easy to get hold of. The experience was remarkable. Definitely recommended!

The highlight of the property has to be the hot tub – it was absolutely outstanding and the perfect way to end a day of adventure. The guide Ivana provided was straightforward and easy to follow, making our stay even more enjoyable. Me and my four friends all agreed that the best part of our trip was staying at Ivana’s place. We loved it so much the first time, we just had to return again this year. Fabulous cottage, situated in a great location to explore North Cornwall. The cottage is furnished to a high level and really does have everything you would need. An absolute home from home and so cosy in the Autumn/ Winter months. Only one mile from Constantine bay and within easy drive of so many other bay and beaches in the area. Cottage ideal for all family types and has a well enclosed garden perfect for children or animals. Tim is an excellent host, communicates very well and is extremely responsive. Would absolutely recommend a stay here.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas, with a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable sofas and layout. It’s a very friendly neighbourhood - we were wished a happy Christmas by strangers and were offered help with carrying our bags. Easy to drop down the hill to anywhere along the high street, so very convenient for the town. The parking wasn’t bad at all and it was handy to have a designated space if necessary. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a lovely place in a lovely town. We visited in the off season but the walk into town and to the beaches was a jolly part of our break. The lounge/diner/kitchen space is terrific and makes the place tick - huge, airy and we'll kitted out. The hot tub and pool table kept us busy.

We stayed at Sarah’s as we were in Newquay for a half marathon, the fairytale of Newquay 15 mile run, Sarah’s place was ideal, located just perfectly between fistral beach and the harbour. Really close to town, perfect to get to Sainsbury’s for any forgotten items. The fort inn pub is a must just for the view. Sarah gave us all the details for check in and everything was just as described. As we were there just before Christmas, Sarah had even put in a Christmas tree, which was an extra added touch. Second time staying here on a short break. Laura is a great host, very responsive and always friendly. Apartment is perfectly clean, warm and in a great quiet location with an easy short walk to the beach. 5 minute drive into Falmouth for shops, restaurants. Thanks Laura for the welcome goodies, always appreciated after a long drive.

Small but perfectly formed! dreamy cottage for two with everything you need and a modern shower. Bathroom is cosy and en suite but well appointed. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay and the flat was exactly as Amber had described. The parking in Penryn is a nightmare so having your own space right by the back door is amazing. We took lots of our own stuff but everything was there to start you off ( washing up liquid, cleaner, salt, pepper, toilet roll etc) and the flat was immaculate. We have friends in Penryn and have stayed in the town before but this flat is a little gem!!

This house offers everything you need to travel to Cornwall. Good fit for every type of trip. The kitchen equipped everything for breakfast and any meals (in case you need to cook). Chris and her family very welcomed us and we just felt like we were staying at our own home. Thanks so much Chris and I will definitely choose yours again if I will travel back.

Anna was a wonderful, considerate host, ensuring the flat was warm and cost ahead of our arrival. Xmas decorations sparkled and the decor gave a real hygge vibe. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I won’t stay anywhere else in Falmouth again. Superb. Six stars!

Place was clean, light and spacious. Had everything we needed. Loved location as 20-30 min stroll (moderate hills) to/from Main Street in Newquay and had free parking. Would stay again and do recommend.

Fab apartment with everything needed to feel at home straight away. As everyone says, the view is outstanding and no photo can do it justice - even in the stormy weather we had! Would totally recommend this place for location and views. Our host was very proactive and the information to find and access the property was perfect. Us 9 from 7 to 70 had a really great holiday. Despite sometimes dodgy weather, we loved using the numerous house facilities. The sheltered from breeze,wellness area exceeded expectations, especially hot tub & sauna & was well maintained.Also much family football ! & basketball. The outdoor gym a good perk. Pizza oven good fun too. Indoors budding pianists explored their talents ! The conservatory was beautiful to relax & eat family meals in if we couldn't eat outside. Locally the walk to Porth beach for us was fine & walk to the island beautiful. We made use of the body boards & kids wetsuits at the house and all tried out paddle boarding at the Gannell ( again free because the house offered inflatable board ). So busy we only watched 1 film in the cinema / playroom, but it's a great asset to have, as was the annexe, a real little home. the lettuces growing if we wanted & just the huge space in & out. Unlike many places, upstairs was spacious & all fully carpeted, so very quiet.

I had the pleasure of staying at Polkanugga Farm and it was truly exceptional. Hidden in the middle of nature, this place offers the kind of peace and quiet that is hard to find. The property is very well-equipped with everything you might need. The hot tub was a real luxury, perfect for relaxing under the stars. The pizza oven was a delightful addition, making for memorable evenings with homemade pizzas. The gaming room was fantastic, with a good table tennis setup that provided much fun and entertainment for kids. Overall, this accommodation was a true gem. The quite atmosphere, combined with excellent amenities, made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind in a beautifully equipped and peaceful retreat.

Just got back from a lovely stay here in ‘Rock the Kasbah’ house. House was beautiful, immaculately clean and lots of lovely touches - welcome hamper and treats, dog bowls and some treats for our furry friend and a dog bed which he took a shining too over his own that we brought with us! Communication was excellent and they managed to give us an early check in so we had plenty of time to settle and explore on our first night. Lovely short walk down to the beautiful beach which was lovely even in the middle of Winter. The public car park was busy with surfers but the beach is so big you hardly bump into anyone! Our primary reason for visiting was to see family in Hayle which was only a short car journey, along with the convenient shops there which was ideal. The hot tub and sauna were lovely to enjoy in the evening and the guide to the house was easy to use. Thanks for a lovely stay and we’ll probably be back in January next year!

Lovely luxury airbnb, spacious, clean and tidy. Shelley left clear instructions and a very responsive host. Lots of places to eat and drink in Porthleven, just a shame the weather wasn't great otherwise we would have spent more time visiting the different beaches.

We spent 4 nights in here and absolutely loved every second. Lindsay and Kaye are lovely people, the place was wonderful enjoyed sitting in front of the warm fire. Despite not being able to use the main pizza oven due to being very damp outside we used the Ooni in the games room which was still a great experience. Hot tub under the stars was special. Comfortable beds and great decor. Toddler loved the space. Great couple of restaurants nearby including Flora cafe which Lindsey recommended which is outstanding a must eat. Thank you for being exceptional hosts. The fresh flowers throughout were not unnoticed. See you again soon Hulusi, Cifaa & Leyth

We had an extremely memorable stay at Nightingale House. Our multi-generational family enjoyed this special place with all the superb amenities and premium location. The house itself is a very well designed, luxurious and a very nicely appointed home that allows for a group our size (7) to both interact with each other while also having some quiet time alone or in smaller groups. The outdoor spaces, on multiple levels with various seating options, afforded great views over the harbor and the ability to have some private time for each family member. We could not have had a better location in downtown Falmouth. It is within easy walking distance for many restaurants, shops and pubs while being discreetly off the busy main thoroughfare. Falmouth is also a superb location to enjoy the rest of Cornwall. Sandra's special touches for our arrival were a lovely treat after a long drive. Her communication was always responsive, prompt and personal. We look forward to returning in the future.
