In the winter, I could see deer, and those deer also show how kind you are. You are a warm-hearted person who shares food with them even in the cold winter. Beautiful cottage, very well equipped, in an idyllic location. The hot tub was perfect, and the possibility of snowshoeing was a nice surprise. Very welcoming host.

Great stay overall. Communication with Renato was easy, property was beautiful and clean. We had an issue with the septic tank for which Renato quickly sent a technician to try to fix. Hopefully it will be fully fixed before the next guest.

Beautiful little getaway paradise that was also very affordable. I prefer places that are lived in; there was plenty of gear in the kitchen. The spa is extra fancy, clearly some owners that like to relax. Beautiful frozen lakes and snowy hikes nearby. The host was very gracious and did not have a problem offering us a late check-out.

We had a very relaxing stay at the cottage. Super quiet place with the forest all around which makes the place very enchanting. The cottage perfectly matches the description and you quickly feel at home. Well-equipped and in a good location for several winter activities (tubing and cross-country skiing). In short, we came out very relaxed!

A wonderful stay. Everything was as expected. Clean, spacious, beautiful surroundings, attention to detail and a great design. Patrick had the place ready for us earlier than the posted check in. The dogs loved the paths carved out in the tress. There was plenty of space for them. The rabbit kept them entertained. The winter fire pit area was great. Covered and allowed us to play games and read a book quietly. We would definitely go back again.

The cottage was impeccable, very clean. Lots of amenities and the outdoor courtyard is private and well laid out. We recommend this chalet to everyone!

Beautiful, spacious home in a great location with thoughtful amenities and comfortable beds. Only caveat is that floors are not insulated so if you’re with a group with different sleep schedules you may be a bit disturbed by creaky floor sounds.

Very nice wooden cottage in the snow in a beautiful forest, we took advantage of this beautiful place .. we hope to come back in September to enjoy the Indian summer and its environment.. we saw several times a beautiful blue jay on the terrace , welcoming and responsive hosts. Weekend stay: we had great weather, and the setting is superb. The cottage is ideal for spending a good time and living with others without stepping on their feet! Welcome, directions and information available, with easy communication.

Beautiful house whose character comes straight from its years of the past. Beautifully well maintained and warm. For large families who want to gather it's perfect. It's an address that every person we were with will keep in mind!

Cara's place in Saint Anne was great. The listing was accurate with all the amenities and accommodations. We were able to enjoy a number of winter activities within just a short time - Domaine Enchanteur(ice skating) and Portneuf Natural Region Park in Saint Alban(hiking/snowshoeing). However we missed the ice fishing festival that occurs on the river in front of the house by just a couple of days. For a family of 5 the house was great - everyone could have their own space/room, and there were also plenty of other spaces in the house for relaxing. The town of Saint Anne has all the needed amenities for a relaxing winter getaway - Metro, SAQ, Le Garage Microbrasserie, and Fromagerie L'Ancetre(cheese shop). We would stay here again!

The treehouse was very cozy... well heated, option for woodstove was nice, but also plug in heater. Kitchen area nicely stocked. Very private setting, easy walk from parking area. The hosts were very helpful, very friendly and happy to help out in any way! Very unique accomodations .... a perfect combination of rustic meets glamping... hot tub was a great addition. We will be making this a regular escape spot!!

upon arrival we enjoyed the location, not too far from Montreal, the decor and all the amenities. Everything was as expected. the hot tub was hot as soon as we arrived. only downside for us, we had trouble with the fridge (not cold enough inside)and the freezer that didn't freeze. the ice cubes stayed in water all weekend. the landlord has been notified and I assume everything will be back in order for the next rental. thank you for the welcome, it's a very nice place
