Magnificent Desert & Mountain Views-Ventana Canyon

Julie and Allan are great hosts. We stayed for 5 weeks. Condo was well stocked and all furnishes and kitchen items are very good quality. Nice job. The main attraction is its location in the foothills of the Santa Catalina mountains and we fully took advantage of access to hiking trails in the canyons (including Sabino Canyon). Convenient shopping close by. Condo grounds and pools, hut tub, gym - all very nice. Only downside is the construction of these units. Ooof. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Fortunately the AirBnB guests (my guess for people on 2nd floor) and condo owners (adjacent to the unit) were quiet people. Every creak and step could be heard in the above unit. The adjacent unit - could hear conversations through bedroom walls. We are retired and generally are in bed by 9 am. Was not happy to hear conversations in adjacent unit until 10 pm. (very reasonable for them to be talking at night, not their fault, just not ideal).

Christie was super helpful and very responsive. She’s put a lot of work into her guest guidebook (lots of suggestions for local activities and personal insights) and into making the home as convenient and well-stocked as possible. Instructions are all very clear. The home was very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and close to everything.

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. It is located adjacent to a paved bike path, a small lake, and hiking trails. A short drive provides access to a supermarket and a variety of restaurants. Keep in mind, however, that you are about 15 miles north of the Tucson city center and at least a half hour to forty minutes from the major attractions. It was our home base for 10 days of fun and exploration but the spa and pool plus a spacious living room and backyard make it a great place just to hang for the day! We would return!

It has been the second time we stayed at Darby's cabin up Mount Lemmon and I wish we would go more often (we should!). We love the cabin, in the middle of the woods at the end of the road, it feels very private. We played with our daughters in the forest and hiked up the trail to Sky Valley to take the chairlift and then hiked down to SummerHaven to enjoy the famous giant cookies of the cookie Cabin. Both Summerhaven and Sky Valley are hikeable (~1.5 mile to the ski resort and 1 mile to Summerhaven) The cabin itself is really cosy and well equipped. Highly recommended!

Great cozy place to stay. The beds are very comfortable. We appreciated the extra thoughtfullness of having toiletries for items that might have been forgotten, like toothbrushes, toothpaste and coffee. Avelardo was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Thank you for opening your home and making our Thanksgiving in Tucson a memorable one!

A Spectacular Retreat with Amazing Mountain Views!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Situated in a really nice area and neighbors the Loews Ventana Canyon resort. There is a hiking trailhead right along the side of the unit and an absolutely incredible view. We got to see a whole pack of javelina right in front of the porch area on one night which was really cool! The screen blocks the view a little but probably nicer than having insects and adds a little privacy from the hikers. Would totally stay here again the space was really clean with a comfortable bed and in my favorite area of Tucson!

Our stay at Nikki’s AirBnb in Tucson was just as pictured and just what we were going for—serene, a great view, and the perfect place to catch up with old friends. What stood out the most was how responsive Nikki and particularly Celida was during our stay. This included early in the morning and on the weekend. I only had a couple of questions, but their responsiveness made us feel very secure in knowing that had there been any issue, they would have been on it. On top of that, all communications were extremely pleasant and helpful. Would recommend this property without any hesitation. A 5 all around!!

Desert Retreat -Quiet-Mountain views

Beautiful, tranquil location surrounded by nature. We loved our stay in this cute and comfortable home. Enjoyed listening to the birds and watching the sunrise while drinking our coffee in the mornings. We were serenaded by coyotes in the distance our last night. Photos don’t do it justice. The desert surroundings were amazing. The last bit of drive is a gravel road but well maintained and no problem in our small rental car. Close to all the conveniences (5 mins to grocery, restaurants) even though you feel like you are in the middle of the desert. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The pictures are beautiful online, but it is even more beautiful in real life, stunning views out every window. The Casita is so comfortable, I could have stayed for weeks. The kitchen is large and well stocked, easy to cook in. There are 3 rocking leather recliners in the living room which makes it a comfy place to hang out when the sun, and temps drop. Adorable patio in the back to view the city of Tucson far below and watch the resident hummingbirds.

We loved the keyless entries! Both houses were well stocked with everything we needed and more. In fact, in over 12 years of renting places for our family vacations, Jim provided way more than anything we've ever experienced before. The one time we had a problem, Jim responded promptly and solved it. It was so easy to be there for 8 nights and the beds were really comfortable! Check-out was a breeze. Thank you, Jim!!!

The reason I selected this home was for the views and the pool. it did not disappoint. It was in a wonderful, peaceful location with amazing views of the mountains and Tucson lights at night. There are so many welcoming outdoor spaces. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the pool is completely private. Great restaurants, shops and groceries are a quick drive. Inside the house is clean and spacious. It is a little dated but comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. I would definitely rent this place again.

Christian's location was exceptionally clean and abundantly stocked. Comfortable beds and 2 of the bedrooms were conveiniently furnished with smart tv's. The neighborhood is family friendly with 2 beautiful parks and the neighbors were always respectful. We highly recommend this location and working with Christian.

Great place! Private, quiet, with idyllic sunsets. The home itself was clean and well-appointed, and more than large enough for our two families (with kids) traveling together. Location-wise, this is very convenient to Saguaro NP and all it has to offer. Would definitely stay again the next time we return to Tucson.
