We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Candlebay. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was fabulous. The host was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place and location for Mt. Washington, Bretton Woods and Franconia notch. House was clean and comfortable. Host gave clear check in info and was responsive.

Such a magic experience! Valeria is a great host, we've had such interesting conversations and her hospitality was great. The house isreally cozy, starting the day with a good coffe made by Valerie was wonderful. We are really grateful for the experience we've had in her house, with cute and affectionate pets. Not only was the house, she has an amazing project and we think is really worth it know more about the sustainability project and help. Moltes gràcies Valerie!

Pattie and Chris were a delight! Chris meet us at the gate and showed us around the cabin, returned with hot tea and an engaging conversation about wool (we are from Aotearoa, NZ and have a background in the world-of-wool) and other like minded topics. The cabin is cute, well lite (off the gid) and plenty of blankets for the cooler temperatures.

Dr. Jerr is a very kind and generous host - he provided us with fresh coffee and breakfast snacks each morning during our stay. We loved the location on Cape Elizabeth, close to Portland, and to many beautiful coastal and woodland trail walks. We came home laden with fish, flash frozen from the fish markets in Portland - thank you Dr. Jerr for your recommendation. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying with Dr. Jerr for exploring the stunning Maine coast and hope to find ourselves back on Cape Elizabeth again next year. Tom & Gillian Hamilton

The sweetest host with a cute and cozy place! It was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay there. The small fridge with breakfast snacks was also a huge plus. Would definitely come back!

We have stayed at the White Birch Retreat many times over the last eight years. We come back again and again for the charming secluded location with gorgeous views across the lake and for the hosts hospitality. Meeting other guests has often been a high point as well, you're as likely to meet a globe trotting sign language teacher as a United Nations water rights negotiator.

The house is wonderful and Rick and Linda are great hosts. We really enjoyed the breakfast and Linda's homemade blueberry muffins. Her wonderful artwork and Rick's fabulous woodwork and home made furniture adorns the house. We enjoyed Rick showing us his furniture making shop. The lake is nearby and it's great to take a walk there. Everything is wonderful at their home.

My stay at Colonel Spencer Inn far exceeded all possible expectations. The building dates back to before the Revolutionary War and maintains all the charm of the era. David, the host, has wonderful stories about the inn's namesake, and the building's history. The breakfasts were gourmet. I can honestly say I have never, in my life, had a breakfast meal as wonderfully crafted as these. They were delicious, and fresh. They were not drowned in sauces or creams or other trickery; the made with the freshest of ingredients and prepared by a culinary master. This was every bit a wonderful stay.

What a wonderful stay we had! Our hosts were absolutely delightful, very attentive, and the house is very comfortable, set in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended :)

We arrived at Maple Hil on a very cold afternoon in NH -- we were met with cozy living spaces warmed by wood stoves, coffee and tea available all day, and our room equipped with electric blankets and a space heater. Dennis fed the fires for us and provided silverware and dishes for our snacks in the living area; he also lent us snow shoes for a trek across the lake. We slept well and were excited to wake up to the smell of breakfast cooking -- as many reviews have said, the breakfast was perfect! We were located close to several ski mountains, a town with shops and restaurants, and Dennis had advice for all of it. This was a wonderful, cozy, perfect stay and we will be back for sure!

The house is very charming and has beautiful stained glass windows. My husband and I love to stay at historic Inns, and this didn’t disappoint. Our hosts, Eileen and Ed, were very accommodating and friendly. We only stayed overnight as we had plans early the next morning, but wished we could have stayed longer to explore the area. I would recommend staying here.

Marsha and Steve are great hosts welcoming us upon arrival. This is the 2nd time we have stayed in their home and it is very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the front room with private balcony which is a must. There are no curtains for the sliding glass door so be prepared to wake when the sun rises or bring an eye mask. Their bed is a new updated adjustable firmness type. Provided breakfast is fantastic as usual with many healthy choices. I highly recommend Marsha and Steve's Airbnb to anyone looking for a place to stay!

What a great place to stay! Charming Victorian house, scrupulously clean, lovely and very comfortable room, wonderful amenities, impressive and delicious breakfast choices and ample parking. Glenn, Pamela and Ingrid were very gracious hosts - helpful with my questions and accommodating and efficient regarding my need to check-in after regular hours. Couldn't recommend it more. Looking forward to my next stay there.

The Inn is a beautiful Victorian home with rooms that are thoughtfully decorated in individual themes. We stayed in the Serengeti room and it was a calm room with photos from an African safari and with many African items decorating the room.

The location on Main Street in the heart of Ogunquit was ideal -- quick walk to restaurants, stores, the beach -- exactly what we wanted! Easy on-site parking. Self-check-in was a snap. The photos accurately reflect the interior's charm including our room ("Maxwell," 2nd floor). We chose it because it faces the back and it worked out well. Room & bath super clean; very comfortable bed. We did not use the large shared kitchen but it appeared clean, well equipped. We seemed to be the only guests during our 2-night stay (a Thur. & Fri.), so it was especially quiet. Deirdre responded quickly to our only question, clarifying/confirming continental breakfast was not included; a place she recommended just steps away worked out well. Happy to recommend The Black Boar.

Windy and Dean were awesome hosts. It is such a blessing for them to share their little slice of heaven with others. The home, location, beautiful landscaping and delicious breakfast makes for a wonderful experience.
