House vacation rentals in Saanich Core

Our multi-age group (12 guests in total…15 yrs - over 50) had an excellent stay at Matt’s property. The pictures posted are very accurate, but they don’t do this property justice. Multiple seating areas inside the house and out meant everyone could sit in a smaller group and “catch-up” with each other. The location is super close to Duncan yet it is not in a suburban neighbourhood. The short distance out of town makes this property feel like you’re actually “getting away from the daily grind of life.” Matt was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed the farm fresh eggs he left for us one morning. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes, glasses, utensils and cookware that one might need. The BBQ space is well equipped with BBQ tools and there is lots of seating so we could all dine together. When we were leaving we all wished we had just a couple more days to enjoy our time together at this beautiful property. Would definitely book again. Matt is an EXCELLENT host!

Satnam was great. They were responsive to our early check in requests and kept us updated on the timing. The place is quiet with beautiful surroundings. Satnam owns farms on the backside of the house and drove by the house with his tractor and 2-year old son, who was so cute! We had so much fun and Satnam even gave us a box of different berries from his farm which were the best!

Came with a group of friends for a golf trip! The place was absolutely stunning!! Adrian was a super helpful host as well! We will definitely be back to stay here again!

Budd's place was even better than I expected and I can't wait to return. My friends were also blown away by how stunning it was. It had everything you could possibly need and was such a great escape from the city. Highly recommend!

Matt is an amazing host who was very responsive and flexible. He provided everything we needed and beyond. All of the amenities are awesome! All of our guests have a great time and we felt right at home. The location is fantastic and it was great to have a pool and hot tub to use at the end of a long day. We highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it!

Our stay here was truly amazing. We were in town for a family wedding which was fun but our stay at this beautiful oasis made it an even more memorable time. We loved all the various spaces available which provided ample space for all of our family (6 of us) to hang out together or just find a cozy space to read and relax. The home is very well appointed and stocked (kitchen supplies & equipment, toiletries, linens, towels) - everything you could think of needing was there. We were nervous about using the pizza oven but Louis and Tasha walked us through how to use it and our home made pizzas were a huge hit! The back yard was indeed a relaxing retreat with the waterfall and natural swim pond, including beautiful vegetation and flowers. The privacy of the space made you forget you were in the city! Our hosts definitely anticipated our every need. Pride of ownership was certainly evident. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing stay in Victoria!

We had an amazing stay! Beautiful location and property. It exceeded my expectations! The host was friendly and helpful, the house was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay, and the area was gorgeous.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Janis & John’s place is exactly as listed, beautiful, quiet and very cosy and comfortable. They are incredibly kind, responsive and friendly hosts. The homemade cheese scones and Christmas baking were delicious and much appreciated. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return.

Places is pretty nice

Seymour was responsive and check-in was a breeze. We felt right at home in the tidy house with spacious rooms. The labels around the house were helpful and unobtrusive. Great location for tourists, and nature lovers. Shopping, dining and a lovely coffeeshop near by. Comfortable beds and linens. This was definitely the best Air B&B I’ve stayed in and hope to stay here again each time I return to the island.

We stayed a long weekend at Tess's place and enjoyed every minute of it. Located just outside of Sooke and close to multiple beaches, it was a great home base as we explored Vancouver Island. We cooked a few meals at the house with all the utensils and supplies we needed. Communication was super easy, as were her instructions for entry, check out and everything in between. We would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic stay. It was really a comfortable space with a lot of amenities. There was tons of room to spread out and it felt like home.

Highly impressed with host Zoe. Space in the house was utilized well. The house is desist for two private bedrooms. The patio room can be used as a sleeping area, but is the only access to the backyard. We enjoyed our stay and are grateful for the use of the house. Zoe is always on top of communication. Great Stay! Being on the Island to visit family, we found this home to be in a great neighborhood location with easy access to grocery stores, coffee shops and walking trails for a bit of exercise. The house was perfect in size for us to host a couple of family meals and had all the necessary kitchen items. Home was very clean and beds were comfortable. It rained most days we were there but the deck off the back looked like a great place to read a book and just relax. Shelley was great with communication and very responsive. We have staying in many locations on Vancouver Island and this was one of the nicest yet. We look forward to going back soon and highly recommend to anyone looking for a place in the greater Victoria area. Thank you for a great stay.

Evelyn's place is absolutely lovely. The house is huge and had multiple seating areas. The kitchen had everything we needed, including the sweet touch of a fresh apple crisp waiting for us in the fridge. The yard was beautiful, even in December, with a great little walking path and bridges. Too many wonderful details to list, would love to stay here again.

We stayed four nights at this location. The condo was immaculate and incredibly well-equipped. Kitchen is high-end with all Bosch appliances and even two dishwashers. The owner has thought of nearly everything. The extra long dining table and 12 chairs would make it possible to cook or cater to a larger group or host a meeting. Kitchen includes lots of glassware, cups, etc. Bathrooms were spotless and included many extra amenities.

Very accommodating specially on our dates that we wanted to book she opened the date for us. She made us feel that the place is our house very homy we love the hot tub with the nature background🥰

Beautiful Getaway! Our family of 5 (2 adults, 5-year-old, 1-year-old, small dog) spent American Thanksgiving week at Carley's place on Pender Island and had an amazing and relaxing week of family time. The house is even more unique (in the best possible way) than the pictures show, the views are amazing, and the kids spent days just exploring the space. We hiked each day, explored the island, and enjoyed the sunsets and fireplace. The hosts are communicative, and the place has all the amenities you could need. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again!

What can I say.... this place is fantastic!! Our large group of 7 had ample rooms to sleep in, Matt and Kyrstle were responsive, welcoming and informative. The house is well appointed with everything you need, and was very organized. The location was perfect, quiet but close enough to great attractions. They are super hosts for a reason, this place and experience was super. Some of our guests also enquired about booking it for themselves another time. Fabulous stay all around. Thank you Matt and Kyrstle for a fantastic stay at your beautiful home.

Loved our stay here! They had spa music playing and the fireplaces going when we first arrived so the place was warm and ready for us (we visited during storm season). The backyard was perfect for our dogs to run around and it was fenced! Also, their bathroom soaps was such a treat as it was Saltspring Island soaps! The cabin is warm and very cozy, yet spacious! It had everything we needed to stay in, and was extremely close to town so a drive was always 1-5mins. They have laundry, but make sure you bring your own detergent. Overall an excellent stay-we had a fantastic time ringing in the new year. Thanks so much!

If we could give ten stars, we would. Christine was an excellent host. She has thought of everything to make her guests feel welcome and at home. The location is unmatched in terms of natural beauty, privacy, design, comforts and convenience. Sheri’s place was a gem! We’ve stayed at dozens of great Airbnbs around the world, and Sheri’s cottage had everything we needed, making it one of the top spots in terms of cleanliness, comfort and being well equipped; we truly felt at home. Sheri went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. A hidden gem in Sooke; we cannot recommend it enough! Thank you Sheri for everything 🙏

Jackie was an amazing host! It was our anniversary, and she went above and beyond by surprising us with a bottle of wine. The place was fantastic and conveniently located near lots of fun attractions. Thanks for making our stay so special, Jackie!
