Sapa Clay House - Private Bamboo Hut

It’s an awesome place better than my expectations. I and my girlfriend enjoyed the place a lot. Especially the meals were greater than any restaurants in Sa Pa (we visited a couple of restaurants in the city and it’s disappointing) The cats and dogs will welcome you with their great smiles too. Next time I visit again I will try the private villa(I thought I reserved it but was not designed for a villa) I am sure that you will enjoy the place except one thing that it’s a bit remote from central area so you might need to rent a motorbike if you enjoy the socializing.

Sapa Clay House - Seasonal House 2

Where do I even start!?! The Clay house is absolutely AMAZING. Hai, Ching, Linh, Huy, and little Su Su(I know I’m leaving people out and I apologize) made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. They are some of the nicest, most accommodating, and warm people we met on our trip. Accommodations: There are 2 types of rooms here, small private huts and a few rooms on the 2nd floor of the main house. We stayed in the 2nd floor rooms and absolutely loved it. The view from the deck is absolutely breathtaking. During our 3 days in Sa Pa we had a multitude of great views, but I still think the one right out our window was the BEST! The grounds aroud Clay House are beautiful as well. Tons of flowers, plants, vegetables. I spent a lot of my down time just relaxing and taking in the scenery. The location is excellent as well. I thought staying outside of town might be a bit inconvenient, no way!!!! It is super easy to get a taxi into town (they will call or schedule one for you), but I just wanted to stay at Clay House all day. It is peaceful, quiet, and I think gives you a true feel of the area. Food: I love food and it is always one of my top priorities on any trip I take. Usually I spend time searching blog sites to find the best food, not at Clay House! A HUGE thank you to the kitchen staff here because their food was amazing. I am still dreaming about the Mountain Rice (literally I ordered it 3-4 times in 3 days). It was the best food we had in Sa Pa and after trying a few other places in town we decided to have the rest of our meals at the house. We ate everything they suggested off the menu and every single thing we had was wonderful! They also offer a cooking class and market visit (I didn’t do this because I could pull myself away from the views from our deck on our last day), which I can’t imagine could be anything less than excellent. Activities: The staff at Clay House go above and beyond to help you set up activities. Visits to local villages, trekking through rice fields, visits to waterfalls. They have different options of things they will set up for you depending on your interests. We actually arrived early from the night train and were worried we would have to just hang around downtown with our bags prior to check in. We were able to drop off our bags early, and within 30 minutes the staff had set up a taxi to take us to a waterfall hike and local village. It really allows you to optimize your time while in Sa Pa. Sapa Garden Bed and Breakfast- Master Double Room

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Sapa Garden Bed and Breakfast! From the moment we booked, Nam was incredibly proactive, welcoming, and a true pleasure to interact with. He even helped us to book a round trip sleeper bus so we’d have a comfortable journey to and from Sapa. Their hospitality made our experience even more special. The space itself was spotless—everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start our mornings before exploring the breathtaking surroundings. After a long day of exploring, it was such a treat to come back to a nice, hot shower—exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. Beyond the beautiful accommodations, Nam went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering helpful recommendations and assistance whenever required. We’re so glad we found this gem and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sapa. Would definitely stay here again!
