perfect tiny home. Patrick set up extra bed for my daughter before we got there. Cozy for the three of us, worked great to test out tiny living. kitchen was functional, bathroom was spacious for the space. pull down TV was a great feature. I felt very safe with our vehicle being inside the closed gate and the neighborhood was nice as well for an evening walk. I would come back to dallas just to stay here.

Gorgeous Historic '20s Mini Mansion. King & Queens

ShaneRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Growing up in Wylie, I would pass by Olde House all the time and was very intrigued. The photos only give a taste of this beautiful property. The Olde House is very warm, inviting, and larger than the pictures. The home has been masterfully redone and makes you feel like you have stepped into a home from the early 1900’s. The bedrooms are spacious, and have the ability to host a large amount of guests. The kitchen is updated to a level even a master chef would respect. There are additional amities, such as a scenic back yard highlighted with beautiful lighting, gazebo, and a detached climate controlled event building. I booked a 3 day weekend stay with the event package, as I was getting married. I was provided the tables, chairs, and ice chests. Our wedding was an absolute hit! Our families loved the location, and provided endless compliments about the home. Colton was very responsive, quick to respond to my every inquiry, and made this process very easy! Definitely recommend!

This place is so cute and calm, we stayed here with our kids and two dogs.. perfect space. Had everything you need. I can tell the host put a lot of thought into things around this Airbnb. The neighborhood is questionable by appearance but I will say I felt very safe inside the home and forgot what the neighborhood was even like once I was inside. I would stay here again!

This Airbnb is a perfect 10. Location is fantastic. The home was decorated so beautifully. The backyard was gigantic with a lovely pool and it was entirely fenced for our basset hounds. This house is in a beautiful neighborhood and is close to so many attractions in the Dallas Fort Worth area. The house was so clean. I had a couple of local questions for Kara and Aaron and they responded quickly. This is one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed in. Highly recommended. House was perfect for our two toddlers.

Host was great! We were a large group and the house was nice, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is so nice! It’s beautiful, calm and quiet, and safe street parking. We had to bring noise inside which is a bummer since we did want to chit chat outside but Timothy was very kind letting us know we needed to bring noise indoors, which was not a big deal. Also, we requested an air mattress that was missing and he had it delivered the next morning! 100% RECOMMEND! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Your guide to Dallas

All About Dallas

Dallas is a sprawling metropolis in north Texas, yet it’s no expanse of concrete, with the Trinity River cutting through the city center and manicured green spaces and tree-lined parks scattered around downtown. The city is home to some of Texas’ most well-known sports teams and a vibrant arts scene. Among the eight art museums and 20 blocks of galleries is the Dallas Museum of Art, one of the largest in the country, with more than 20,000 works by Texas artists and international creators.

The Dallas Park System is also an integral element of the city, and well-kept green spaces cover nearly 20,000 acres of urban terrain. Klyde Warren Park is tucked between skyscrapers and hosts food trucks, outdoor movies, and fitness events each week, and the looped trail at waterfront White Rock Lake Park brings pedestrians and bikers through an oasis of oak and pecan trees.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Dallas

The weather in Dallas can vary greatly depending on the season. Summers are hot and humid, while winters are cold and dry. On a summer day, you can take a break from the heat to admire rare gems and minerals at the five-story Perot Museum of Nature and Science. December through January Dallas is in full holiday mode, with activities like ice skating and the annual Dallas Holiday Parade.

Spring’s warm and rainy weather is an ideal time to visit the 66-acre Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, when the vibrant blooms of the seasonal wildflowers in the designated color garden will be on display. Cool autumn weather brings out the city’s fall foliage, making it an ideal time to go to the Scyene Overlook for a panoramic view of the Great Trinity Forest’s hardwoods, now clad in bright red and orange shades.

Top things to do in Dallas

Nasher Sculpture Center

The 2.5-acre Nasher Sculpture Center in the heart of downtown Dallas’ Arts District is home to more than 300 sculptures, displayed both indoors and outdoors. Manicured landscaping and elegant fountains sit alongside changing exhibitions and permanent works by internationally renowned artists.

Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge

For some of the best views of the Dallas skyline, meander along the pedestrian area that skirts the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. A tall, circular overlay covers the bridge and the Trinity River below it, an interesting architectural piece that complements the city skyline. The best time to visit is right after sunset, when the buildings start to light up.

Bishop Arts District

The Bishop Arts District is an oasis for independent wares, with side alleys decorated in vivid murals. This shopping area is more than 100 years old, one of the most historic corners of downtown. Here you’ll find vintage delights at local record shops and comic book stores, as well as new, one-of-a-kind pieces at boutiques selling hand-crafted jewelry and home decor.
