Shore to Please

HeatherRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We were very fortunate to be able to stay at Mike’s. We had to evacuate our home due to Hurricane Milton and it was so nice to go to a place totally untouched by the storm. It’s close to the beach and the sand was perfect! There was plenty to do. Mike was super responsive.

The Hive

Ryan Rating, 5 stars8 months ago
The Hive was big, new, clean, and only steps from the pool. We were able to park our vintage limo under the house, so it stayed nice and cool. Everything worked and the place was well stocked. More importantly, the beach wagon was easily the best I've ever used. When we booked, we were concerned about the beach being too far away or a hassle to get to, but it couldn't have been easier (honestly it added about 3 yards walk compared to actually staying in a beach side condo). I plan to stay here again. Great place!

Paradise outside your door.

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed for about two months while closing on our house, so our experience would be a little different than most. David was responsive and helpful within reason. All emergency issues we had (ie. water heater in above unit busted, code for the gym updated without our knowledge) were resolved immediately by the front desk or security guard. The location, convenience, the pools and the gym were awesome. David was great, he spoiled us with a bottle of wine for Thanksgiving and was receptive. The two minor complaints would be the wifi quality not being great and the musty smell that was present when you first came in the room. During the off-season the price was totally worth it and would totally do it again if i didn't live in the area now lol.

Stillwaters- Pool, Great for Families!

JoyceRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I have stay at close to over 30 airbnbs. This home is my absolute favorite place so far. First of all, the minute you walk in it smells so fresh and the home is so nice and clean. The decor is gorgeous. It’s not too much or too little it’s just right. You feel instantly at home. The kitchen is equipped with Everything you need. The pool and the living area outside is perfect. There is not one thing I would change. We were here for a wedding. It accommodated 10 of us comfortably. We made memories. There is a sign outside to the fact that those who enter may be blessed and that’s exactly how we felt, BLESSED! Thank for your hospitality!!

Luxury Townhome w/Pool-close to Navarre Beach

AustynRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. We made good time on our drive and got into town earlier than anticipated, and they had no problem with us checking in early. This place has everything you could possibly want for your beach vacation. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there were plenty of grilling tools as well. The living room was very comfortable, and we loved watching baseball on the nice big TV after a day at the beach. The beds are comfy with a wide selection of pillows and extra throw blankets if needed. The bathrooms are also well-stocked with toiletries and plenty of towels. The closets are spacious with many hangers to unpack your clothes. The neighborhood is quiet, clean, and peaceful. The pool was never too busy, and made for a nice quick dip. The beach is close, and never too crowded. I highly recommend Bella Luna Italian Bistro on the corner. We hope to come back here someday soon!

A wonderful condo in Dolphin Villas 120

We really enjoyed our stay. My daughter was playing in a VB tournament at Gulf Shores High School and the location of this apartment was perfect. It’s about a block from the school. There’s plenty of restaurants close by so you don’t have to get into beach traffic unless you just want to. We would stay here again.

Your guide to Pensacola Beach, Escambia County

All about Pensacola Beach

Perched on a white-sand barrier island, Pensacola Beach is sandwiched between the Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico and book-ended by the Gulf Islands National Seashore. The eight-mile stretch of shoreline is a very different place than its urban namesake Pensacola, offering a more relaxed getaway that’s been mostly shielded from large-scale development. The town is generally known for its parades, festivals, and celebratory vibe. Pensacola Beach is also one of the Panhandle’s most accessible shorelines, with wheelchair rentals and Mobi-mats to help folks easily navigate sand.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Pensacola Beach, Escambia County

Students and families descend on Pensacola Beach during the summer months, when the weather is hottest and temperatures range from the high 70s to the low 90s Fahrenheit. For those seeking a quieter time of year, mid-September and October are mild months, with temperatures hovering around the 70s and 80s, and are also devoid of crowds. The temperature drops considerably in wintertime, ranging from the 40s to the 60s Fahrenheit, making this the low season and a great time to visit. Hurricane season stretches from June to November, but it can rain anytime in Pensacola Beach, so remember a coat or umbrella (along with all the sun protection and flip-flops).

Top things to do in Pensacola Beach, Escambia County

Gulf Islands National Seashore

To both the west and the east of Pensacola Beach lies this unspoiled paradise, complete with quartz-sand beaches, sandy dunes, windswept nature trails, and intriguing historic sites. Fort Pickens, an 1834 fort on the west side of Santa Rosa Island, can be visited on a self-guided tour. Maps are available at the visitor center.

Naval Live Oaks Reservation

Another section of Gulf Islands National Seashore, this reservation contains 7.5 miles of hiking trails through maritime hammock (low forest). Knock on the wood of a live oak and think about how this hard timber was once used to build a nation’s warships.

Shoreline Park UFO Spotting

Move over, Roswell, New Mexico. Over the last few decades, hundreds of UFOs have been spotted from this park near the Pensacola Naval Air Station (which may or may not be a total coincidence!). Locals seem permanently camped out here in their lawn chairs with their binoculars, and stargazing is also a popular pursuit.
