Absolutely beautiful lodge. Perfect for families and their fur babies. The lodge was so homely and light. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge works so well with plenty of seating for everyone. Very homely with nice furnishings and very well equipped kitchen . Love the doors that open onto decking area with nice outdoor seating. Location is a good base. Whitby approx 15mins in the car, there is a Lidl here too. Staithes a couple of miles away where there is a Co-op. The bay at Runswick which is within walking distance from the lodge is stunning. It is however fairly steep to get to. It can be accessed by car but parking down at the Bay is very limited. Beautiful place though with a great cafe and toilets. Sadly no deck chairs to hire which would be a bonus but wouldn't put us off going. Would highly recommend staying at The Pines. We would 100% like to return.

I wanted a quiet, isolated Christmas with an old friend who needed the same. It's exactly what we got. Really comfortable, modern, immaculate chalet where everything worked and I wouldn't hesitate to return. I highly recommend it. The unexpected, extremely kind and thoughtful touch of placing a Christmas tree in the living room was hugely appreciated - Graham had even alerted me to it in advance of my arrival lest it was unwelcome and I could move it. I really appreciated the timely gesture and can see why Graham is a super host.

I recently stayed at this beautiful chalet with my family, which I booked through Airbnb. It was my son's birthday, and he was overjoyed with our stay. The location was perfect, just about 3-4 minutes walk from the beach. Chalet has its own stunning views of this huge field in making with birds chirping sound for to enjoy sunsets and sunrises. The place was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a memorable family getaway. The interior was tastefully decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook our meals, which we enjoyed on the deck. Our host Irene was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. Learned friendly greetings in Urdu to say during our communications through emails and phone, WOW. Communication was prompt and easy, and we appreciated the helpful tips and local recommendations provided. Overall, we had an amazing experience at this chalet, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful gateway.

Had great stay at Puffin Cottage, beautiful decor throughout with coastal theme, comfortable furnishings, extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean throughout, TV in every room, DVDs, books & games for children in bunk bed room, Nicola had thought of everything including dog items & treats, very dog friendly. Lovely welcoming gift was there for us too! Nicola communicated well, providing clear instructions so it was easy to find the cottage & use the lock box. We were pleased with the easy access to the beach for our dog & pleasant 20 minute walk along beach & prom into Bridlington. Also handy was the dog friendly Makis bar nearby.Will definitely return!

Absolutely amazing lodge quite and tranquil. Kim was an amazing host. We adore Staithes.The lodge was so well equipped warm and cosy we will return 5 stars from us xxx

Brilliant little gem in the best location if you want to be right in the hub of the Yorkshire Dales with great walks and famed locations in every direction!

Thanks Steve for a brilliant twixmas break! Everything we needed in a comfortable environment. Everything was as described, clear communication throughout the experience from Steve. Definitely worth a visit during the summer months just for the surrounding views! Prepayment meter gave us a challenge waking up with no electric the first morning! 🥶 tip - make sure you’ve put more than plenty on for your first night until you get an idea of your usage!

We had the most wonderful stay at Forest View. The pictures do not do the place itself or it’s surroundings justice! We were surrounded by beautiful views and lots of animals. Clive and Tracey were both very accommodating and helpful, we had a downfall of snow overnight and Clive spent the best part of an hour helping us safely off the country roads. We will be returning in the summer without a doubt! Thank you for the most perfect and relaxing start to 2025

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Flip Flops. Belinda’s chalet is spotlessly clean, with lovely attention to detail in terms of decor/accessories. It is also in an excellent location, close to the seafront and just a few minutes walk along the prom into Bridlington. A cosy base for our mini break I can thoroughly recommend it!
