Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ruhr

Our family of four had a great time staying with Anna and Max. The two are wonderful, open and warm hosts, who are careful that their guests spend a relaxing time in the forest cottage and can explore the area freshly strengthened on the first morning. The house itself is very nicely decorated and super clean. The rooms offer ample space and equipped with everything you need for a few days. From the house you can immediately start a forest walk and meet deer. Needless to say, the dog also felt really comfortable. But other excursions and adventures are also close by. For example, if you want to climb Cologne Cathedral or take a look at the highest railway bridge in Germany, it is not far. Anna and Max are also willing to give helpful tips. Thank you so much for everything!

We had a four-day stay at this beautiful place. The charming half-timbered house in the Bergisches Land is furnished with a lot of love for detail and equipped with everything you need (especially with children). There is also an ample range of games for children - to the delight of all guests. The owners Andrea and Axel are warm and gave us great (child-friendly) tips for excursions in the area. The family communication and check-in went smoothly. We will be happy to come back. Great recommendation!

A really nice, cozy cabin with a fireplace and sauna! Perfect for relaxing from everyday life and enjoying nature! We had a lovely time :)

We spent a beautiful time there. Unfortunately there is no parking( the house only includes one parking space and the other is private).

I spent four wonderful weeks in Annalena's apartment and felt completely at home.The place was very clean, neat and well equipped. The location is simply fantastic – in the middle of nature, surrounded by sheep, goats, super sweet donkeys and llamas. It was a real pleasure to wake up in this idyllic tranquility in the morning. If you love relaxation and nature, this is the case. I would love to come back anytime!

We had a wonderful holiday in the Wiesenchalet. The house and the garden are incredibly beautiful and decorated with a lot of love, care and attention. We could walk from the cottage, we enjoyed ourselves, together with our children, in the hanging net for hours. And the view from the house (and from the sauna) is beautiful. A great place to be for a relaxing break.

The beautiful old house Benke has an incredible charm and is rich, practical and very cozy. The garden is an idyll and the quiet green surroundings invite you to take nice walks. The bus from Recklinghausen stops right in front of the property (but we didn't notice anything from the street). The contact with Benjamin was straightforward and warm. He answered all questions in a timely manner and is very helpful. Our children also felt very comfortable. We didn't miss anything during our family reunion and we'd love to come back at any time. Highly recommended!!

My friends and I visited Hardy and immediately loved the house. Due to the various possibilities that the house offers, we were able to spend a weekend there without relying on external offers. Thank you very much for the great weekend in your house!

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 minutes. Walking distance to the nearest train station can be reached very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

We stayed in Irina's apartment for 3 days and enjoyed it very much. The host is friendly, the apartment is equipped with everything you need and is located in a beautiful place on the lake shore! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed staying with Kevin very much. We found the apartment as described, everything was clean and well maintained. Sauna and pool were a dream after a long day out on the slopes. Bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Only in the kitchen equipment we missed things such as garbage bags, pot sponge, baking paper, and were also unable to shop on Sundays. I would recommend the place at any time, and would love to come back.

We spent some nice and quiet days with our dog Rudi during the turn of the year. The accommodation is very nicely located in the countryside, a small farm with cows is located nearby. There are beautiful opportunities for walking and hiking. Exactly the tranquility and seclusion we were looking for! Stefanie and her husband were also very friendly! Thank you for everything! We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. It was my second time staying here, and certainly not the last. The apartment is lovingly furnished and you have everything you need. Hosts are very friendly!

We really had a really good time in Anna's house. The rooms were all spacious and clean. We had enough space with 6 adults and 6 children to do their own thing together or each. Especially the log cabin in the garden was a nice perk. The sauna with relaxation area was also wonderful to recover after a day in the snow. Winterberg was half an hour and at the Neuasterberg you can park well to go skiing. Very suitable for starting with small children with ski lessons. The kitchen had all the necessities you could wish for. The house fully met our need of a week ski holiday with 3 families. Thank you Anna for a pleasant stay.
