What an amazing cosy cottage! we stayed at Maddies cottage for 2 nights for our daughters birthday, we visited longleat, Bath and a nearby farm and all were fabulous. the cottage was absolutely stunning and it was hard to get our daughter to leave with all the lovely toys, books and great outdoor space. We would love to return oneday thank you Maddie X

Where to start. The place is far beyond what it looks like in the photos. It’s truly stunning. Hosts were amazing! We got in late and the fire was on, place was toasty and the hot tub had been fired up and was ready to go. The place was mint, stunning and the views were something else. Such a wonderful place and we will definitely go back someday. Truly the best Airbnb we have done. Thanks so much.

We had a wonderful stay at Andy’s place. He was very welcoming, showed us how to use the oven (as we were cooking Christmas dinner for 9), the heating, etc. The house was in a great location with lots to do in the local area. Would recommend a stay here. Thanks Andy!

We found the cottage well-equipped and cosy, and it was a relaxing place to be. Our hosts were helpful and responsive, and we had everything we needed. It was a lovely place and one we would visit again if in the area.

We had a lovely stay for a few nights. It wasn't great weather, so the little games room on site was very useful to entertain the kids. Great, quiet, countryside location but not too far from pubs etc. The barn had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Perfect stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Quiet and peaceful with plenty of walks. Mike was very friendly and happy to share his knowledge of the local area. The lake house was spotlessly clean and kitchen well equipped. Glad we brought all our provisions with us as local shops some distance away. Mike was very helpful with my elderly mother, very patient and nothing too much trouble. The highland cattle were an added bonus. If you’re looking for a quiet few days away then mikes place is the perfect getaway. Thank you for your kindness Mike it was much appreciated.

Very respectful and warm upon greeting. Lovely tidy little place with all the amenities you'll need for a stay that has you feeling like you're right at home. Plenty to see and do in not only the town it's in, but public transport nearby can take you to neighbouring towns and cities quickly. Every aspect of my stay was 10/10 and I highly recommend this place as a great stay! Thank you.

Much appreciated being able to drop off luggage early at a nearby location. Also appreciated provision of tea, coffee and milk and toiletries.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great communication with our host from booking, a little fire on arrival so the place was nice and cosy. They'd even decorated the place for Christmas! The free range chickens provided eggs for our breakfast and the other bird wildlife was a delight to watch. The spring water lake was picturesque and a joy to swim in. It had everything we wanted and was a perfect place for us to stay, just a few minutes drive from Devizes town centre. We'd definitely stay again and highly recommend it.
