Places to stay in Rothbury

Just an hour away from home felt a million miles away. Such a beautiful house in any location. In this location outstanding. Very comfortable with great facilities. But the location was amazing weather wasn’t great so excuse we need to return to use the garden fully. Right beside Crown and Anchor which is a great wee pub and restaurant.

A wonderful house in a perfect location! The house has all the amenities you need and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. It’s a short stroll to the beach and the town and easy to park outside. We look forward to returning again in the future!

Amazing stay would go again. It’s was such a nice place , nice a private hot tub area . The cottage was so clean and tidy had everything you needed in it and so Nicola informed us what wasn’t available in advance to know what to bring. We had an amazing stay thank you.

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.

We had a great stay in Belford, clean and tidy accommodation. Had everything we wanted. Location was spot on for places we wanted to visit. Thank you.

We loved the apartment, it was cosy, clean and well equipped. The location is fantastic, quiet yet in the heart of the village. the Salt Water café, which is almost next door was superb and it is a short walk to the sea.

Hi NIna A lovely cottage, perfectly located with parking. There was no need to contact Nina when we were at the cottage, but I contacted the mobile number when I got home…… no reply. There were 2 issues that I wanted to help her with. The upstairs television wasn’t working and was making a buzzing noise - electric. We turned the electricity off to the television and it stopped. We couldn’t get the coffee machine working, instructions would have been helpful. Other than the above 2 issues, we had a wonderful 3 night stay. Lots to do in the area.

This is a very private annex tucked away round the back of a large manor house, with huge grounds and horses grazing in the fields. Early morning walks in the crisp February sunshine around the grounds were peaceful and picture perfect. The beds were comfortable and the linen was spotless. The rounds were warm and cosy. We'd love to come back for a return visit sometime.

A beautifully presented property in stunning Northumberland. The property is close to the heart of Seahouses but set away in private peaceful street only a few mins walk from the centre of town. The property is incredibly clean and much much bigger than the pictures can possibly show. Each room on its own floor feels private and perfect for large family or group wanting to get together but also have some privacy. The Northumberland coastline is one of the most beautiful parts of the UK and this property is right in the heart of it.
