Perfect location for a restful getaway on one of the most beautiful islands in the country! We are new owners to this property, and have done everything possible to make it a special place to relax and enjoy family and friends! Complete with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms (one bdrm and bath on main level and two bdrms and one bath upstairs). Kendra was very responsive when communicating. Additionally she offered earlier check in which was very much appreciated when getting young children settled in. Check out time was also flexible, and Kendra made sure we didn't feel rushed. The Chalet had plenty of room for our party of 6 adults, and 6 children. Kendra and Trevor are great hosts, and we would definitely recommend staying at their Chalet. We hope to do so again next year.

It’s a lovely home in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect place for a weekend away. We would love to come back in the summer and explore the beaches. And the view, as stunning as the pictures are, they can’t even do it justice. Just incredible. I would absolutely recommend this place to family and friends.

had a great stay. Stanislav was a great host. clear instructions and fast communication. the place was clean and comfortable, and matched the pictures and description perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bed and pillows were. much better than a hotel bed. lots of food options near by as well. I will definitely check to see if this place is available next time I stay in chilliwack

We loved the location & solitude of the neighborhood. There were at least a dozen deer who passed through the yard & spent time sunning in the adjacent neighbor's yard for the afternoon. We were disappointed that the gate leading to the fenced backyard was broken/ knocked down & blocking the entry to the yard; therefore, we were unable to utilize it with our dog. In communication with Anita, she was not aware of it. The home had a good layout & was adequately cleaned with the exception of the pots, pans & dishes in the kitchen. We think perhaps the dishwasher isn't doing the job expected & guests were just putting things away unclean.

Our group of 4 adults and 1 child enjoyed our 3 night stay between Christmas & New Year's. Everyone in the group commented on how comfortable the beds were, and how beautiful the river view was. We particularly enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub amenity. The little desk nook in the bedroom was perfect for coloring, and building LEGO. We really appreciated that the cabin was dog friendly too.

I will absolutely be coming back to stay any time I come to Vancouver! I came with all of my animals and Yue and Moris were so sweet and accommodating! The spot is so picturesque! The colors and the decor is a whole vibe! 30-40 minutes to the city depending on where you go.

Our family celebrated the holiday at Big Lake. It was a beautiful peaceful location. The house was well furnished- comfortable beds and all linens and towels felt brand new. The views from every floor were amazing- enjoyed a cup of coffee on the comfy couch’s each morning. Thank you Juliet for your responsive communication- you were so kind and helpful. Will be recommending this place to our friends and family- can’t wait to return in the summer time!
