Cosy & quaint log cabin

AlexandraRating, 5 stars5 months ago
John’s cabin was a lovely and cozy stay for myself my husband and our toddler. The area is quiet and peaceful- lots of cows which our daughter loved. The cabin itself had all we needed, great hot water in the shower and a comfortable simple space. John owns the pub across the way and although we didn’t get to visit it was a nice touch! (And never loud). John was a wonderful host, extremely helpful and quick to respond and friendly. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway to the Irish countryside!

We were recommended Elizabeth’s home and we’re not disappointed. We had a couple of changes and she was more than accommodating. Would recommend her house without hesitation.

Inviting 4-Bed House in Strokestown

PaulRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The house has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen and showers in every bedroom. Plenty of outdoor space with plenty of parking. 4 good sized bedrooms. It's a 5 minute drive to the town but the restaurant across the road is very good. The town itself has everything you need. The owner was very helpful and always available if needed.

I enjoyed my stay here . The setting was lovely and as I was traveling alone this time I felt very safe and secure . Beautiful places to cycle and walk . Easy access to the canal for water sports . It was lovely being on a working farm and seeing the animal . I would highly recommend.

Country Get Away for Yourself & Family or Friends

DonalRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The pictures simply didn't do this place justice. The nooks and crannies that surrounded the spacious central shared space were fantastic, the facilities for showering and changing excellent! We had a group of 15 there for 2 days and had simply the best time. Twenty minutes from Sligo, we felt like we had the best of both worlds - rural and peaceful when we needed it, and a short mini-bus to the town when we wanted something a little busier. Would come again and would recommend.
