Vacation rentals in Roscommon

We had such a lovely stay, the house is beautiful and very clean, it has everything you need, kids had a great time aswell, they had lots to keep them busy. Boys loved the fishing, My husband loved that he could moor his boat there. The road was not at all bad as it had been resurfaced, beds were super comfortable, decent quality mattresses, duvets and pillows and towels. Rachael was very responsive to messages, very friendly. We will definitely be back in summer and stay for a week.

We had an amazing time! The cottage has all necessary facilities as described. We'll definitely come back in the future. Communication with the host was perfect also.

Philip was a great host, accommodating a very last minute request for my family. the house was in great condition and everything was as advertised. any additional requests or help sought was delay with immediately. I'd highly recommend.

the house was beautiful. bigger than expected and very comfortable. kitchen fully equipped which allowed us to cook at home with the family . caroilin was a great host . communication excellent..the area is lovely . the purple onion restaurant was delicious. would highly recommend. not much in the area for kids but if you have the car for travelling you could go to nearby towns. we enjoyed the famine museum which was 15 mins car journey . was a great stay and we would love to stay at the house again

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s cosy Shepard’s hut. Great little space with amazing views we were even lucky enough to have a dusting of snow which was fabulous to watch coming down from the hot tub with a glass of bubbly in hand! Thank you Lisa x

We were a group of 9, we had an amazing time staying in Claire's house, there was everything we needed and it was so nice and peaceful. Everything was so clean and comfortable to arrive to in the cold weather. Claire was so helpful in letting us stay later due to snow and ice and general communication. We hope to come back again!

Very nicely renovated property. We loved watching the sheep, and had the opportunity to watch a farmer come in with his Border Collie to round them up and move them one morning. Great communication with friendly host.

We enjoyed a lovely one night stay at Fiona’s place. We were met on arrival and given sone great local knowledge and recommendations. It is a lovely property, a 200 year old converted mill, great to see it repurposed and in use. Everything very clean and plenty of room for 4 adults, 1 child, 1 infant. It is in the countryside, nice and quiet area but only a few minutes from the nearest towns too, enjoyed it very much and hope to return, thanks very much.

What a great place to relax and be still or active, as you may choose! Waking up and sitting in the comfy armchair in the sun porch, drinking tea and eating chocolate biscuits provided by John and Rose, and watching the Shannon flow past and a rabbit hopping by and a Pheasant emerging from the woods and picking its way across the field and the Song Thrushes and the Magpies and a Swan feeding in the river. How more special could a weekend away near Jamestown be? John and Rose provided breakfast ingredients, tea and coffee and milk and biscuits and snacks for us. The house was warm and cosy and the hot showers were great. We would love to return in the Summer, if we may. Many thanks to our hosts.
