Stayed at Edith’s home with my husband and 3 kids for a week. There are many fans in the house and a few rooms have AC units…we never turned on the AC, it was perfect with the fans on and windows open. It was great to be able to do laundry, the beach chairs and umbrella were nice to use and the coolers were great. The beach at the end of the street was gorgeous and super private. The proximity to Old San Juan and the places we wanted to visit east of Loiza made this a perfect location for us. We cooked breakfast at the house most mornings, some lunches and some dinners and the space worked well for us for that. My kids loved the sweet outdoor cat Keke and enjoyed giving her food and water. There are many stray dogs around the streets but they didn’t approach us at all. There was a dog next door that barked many times in the middle of the night.,.it didn’t bother us much but might be an issue with people with babies. Overall we loved the home and would absolutely stay there again!

Dennis was a great host. Home was clean and in a great location. The home had so many extras specially in the kitchen. Only down side was a faint smell of mold or mildew in some rooms. I am assuming because of the AC and humidity. I wish we would have requested a pool cleaning but that was our fault for not requesting it. the extra lounge area by the pool side was beautiful and the game room was great for those rainy nights. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home. We will look you up the next time we travel to Puerto Rico.

Safe and quiet neighborhood. Beautiful Bastimiento Beach is just a few steps downhill; good for a morning walk along the sandy shore and a fast dip in natural rocky pools protected from the surf. Sweeping views from decks and balconies. A lot of sun and fresh air; cool sea breeze. High ceilings and a lot of space in the house. Well stocked kitchen; everything necessary for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Rare bargain for the price; we were lucky to find this place. Eugenia is a very kind lady; she answered our calls with zero delay, provided valuable advice and, in the end of our stay, allowed a late check out. People in Vieques are generally very nice and helpful. A four wheel drive vehicle is a must; Vieques roads were never good after the departure of Navy. Do not expect much of snorkeling: reefs are dead; but the beaches remain beautiful and when you come early you may find yourself a sole visitor in the paradise.
