Can't beat the location, walking to restaurant's and the snowmobile trail right at your front door. This is ideal for snowmobiling. Their is enough room to park a 3 place trailer on the side of the house as well as 2 places for a 2 place trailer. Super clean, all the essentials, washer/dryer. Their is no basement, this is 2 levels with a loft up stairs that has too sleeping areas. One at the back and one at the front, but this is a loft so no doors or walls. The loft overlooks the whole down stairs. Their is one master bedroom on the first floor that is full size bedroom. Rafal was super attentive to getting back to us with answers and any questions. For snowmobiling this is the best of all worlds - walking to restaurants, trail at your front door.

Julie is a very friendly and responsive host. She texted us prior to our arrival to answer any questions and outlined the check-in routine. She met us in person to show us our cabin, reviewed all the amenities, and rules. The cabin is immaculate and exquisitely decorated with walls, trim, counters, and cabinet doors hewn from logs, gorgeous hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a king size bed that was extremely comfortable. The appliances are top notch, and the cabinets and drawers are well stocked. The bathroom is beautiful with a great shower and tub. The second bedroom has a bunk bed, double on the bottom and single on the top. Everything is neat with no clutter. We love it and can’t wait to come back to stay longer! Kevin & Karen

This was the ideal place for us to ride out of, right on the trail and a great location for a variety of destinations. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Aaron was great, very helpful as a guide to the trails and area, and very quick in his response to questions we had on checking in. My brother, father and I are planning to rent again next year for our snowmobiling trip!

The cabin in the woods that feels like home away from home. Highly recommend staying in the winter. Being surrounded by snow and trees, with daily visits from cute woodland creatures made our stay that much more memorable. We appreciated this property being pet friendly so we could bring our rescue on vacation with us. I noticed that they are fully set-up to be kid friendly as well with a baby-gate like fence for around the fireplace and stairs as well as a pack’n’play and bunk beds. Would definitely stay again- we’re already talking about possibly booking for next year.

Great spot. Heating is inconsistent, second floor was very warm while the first floor bedroom was very cold. Additional or heavier comforter or quilt for the first floor bed would have been appreciated. Otherwise, it is a very nice place and I'd stay here again.

The cabin was exactly as described. The cabin had everything we needed for our four night stay while we visited family in the area, very quaint and quiet. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and their dogs. They gave us the heads up of possibly adding more cabins which interested us. We have a large family and would love to return to the Knotty Pine Trailside Cabin complex and rent out a few for the whole family. Great place to stay.

This was such a beautiful cabin to stay at and experience the best of Maine’s nature and culture. We also booked a dinner at The Quarry along with our stay, which was a delicious and thoughtfully curated. We had a great family stay for our weekend of skiing. The Moosehead Cottage Resort is perfectly located near Greenville and only a 10 minute drive to Big Moose Mountain. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home. The cabin (#1) was cozy and beds were comfortable. Our kids had a lot of fun at the common pool and spa area. There is some deferred maintenance in that area, but everything was functional. We had a great stay and would stay there again in the future.

Very happy with our stay at Rob and Jessie’s cabin. We were there to bird hunt, and the ability to have dogs was definitely a need for us. Location was great, plenty of space, good internet access, and full kitchen and bathroom. Communication was great too. Would stay there again for sure!

Spent a long weekend at this cute little cabin. My husband and I loved it so much, we wish we could buy it! I do wish there would have been a shower instead of just a bathtub and it was dog friendly. We would love to come back every year but we have a growing family and hate to leave our furry friends behind. Overall, beautiful location, peaceful, and quite. Perfect for a getaway!

Spent a few days in Greenville, skiing at Big Moose + hiking in the snow. Easy to find location, great space. We were very happy to spend our weekend here. Only word of caution for future stayers - the stairs to the loft are quite narrow. Our young kids had a couple minor slips and falls on them, nothing serious, but they can be tough for little ones to navigate without help. Thanks!

The place was cozy and clean, and located on a beautiful peninsula where you could walk down to the lake. Only 15 minutes from downtown Greenville.

Fantastic house will fit large groups comfortably. We had 6 kids and 2 adults all felt at home with room to spare.Snowmobile right in and out access trail is right around corner to get to ITS trail. Plenty of parking for my 30 foot snowmobile trailer right in front of house plus tons more room. Definitely recommend this house highly to fellow snowmobilers

When we booked acabana, we were looking for a typical local experience and we found this cabin! Excellent location, quiet, very close to the river (you could hear the sound of the water!) and wonderful accommodation. Not only was everything clean and tidy, but the decoration of the hut was perfect and blended in with the surroundings. we will definitely be returning in the summer!

Gregory was the most responsive host I’ve interacted with. He was flexible, helped us problem solve, and offered great suggestions for the area that we really enjoyed. I was forewarned that our unexpectedly larger group of 5 (originally 4) would find the place tight and it was, but we made it work and had a great time. The view is out of this world, especially when the sky is clear at sunset. And the kitchen is well stocked!
