Julie is a very friendly and responsive host. She texted us prior to our arrival to answer any questions and outlined the check-in routine. She met us in person to show us our cabin, reviewed all the amenities, and rules. The cabin is immaculate and exquisitely decorated with walls, trim, counters, and cabinet doors hewn from logs, gorgeous hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a king size bed that was extremely comfortable. The appliances are top notch, and the cabinets and drawers are well stocked. The bathroom is beautiful with a great shower and tub. The second bedroom has a bunk bed, double on the bottom and single on the top. Everything is neat with no clutter. We love it and can’t wait to come back to stay longer! Kevin & Karen

This is a great spot, convenient to lots of outdoor activities in the area. The studio has super comfortable beds, a very well equipped kitchen, and even some nice touches like throw blankets, books, and games for days you want to stay in and get cozy.

This place is perfect for your group or family to stay while rafting in the area. Restaurant is walkable and others drivable. Outdoor space is excellent for gathering friends! Close to all the local food and drink.

We came to Dragonwood for a small family getaway and had the most amazing time. Carrie was an extremely attentive host and we were never lacking in activities, even when the weather was on the dreary side. We’re looking forward to booking another stay next year!

For our family vacation this was perfect. The kids can sled right on the property. Jay has lights along the trail for night sledding as well. We tried ice fishing for the first time and had fun with that. Our mission was for snowmobiling though, and this is a good starting point. Ride directly from the cabin without any hassles. Jay is a fantastic host. He happened to be staying at The Boathouse (next to The Bunkhouse) for a few days for his kids' school vacation, and he could not have been any friendlier. We are already looking forward to next year. The Bunkhouse is not the fanciest cabin on the lake, nor is it intended to be. It is designed for sleeping a good crowd of people who are motivated around outdoor activities. The wood stove makes returning to the cabin that much more enjoyable. The view of the lake and mountains is hard to beat, considering the tall pines surrounding the area. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would return again without thinking about it.

The Lucky Duck Lodge is a beautiful place to escape everything and relax. The house overlooks two ponds where deer were grazing each morning and at dusk every day. I highly recommend this adorable getaway!

Great space in downtown Dover-Foxcroft. Well appointed and very comfortable.

Perfect, easy stay. Good communication, super clean and functional cabin and convenient location. Will be back.
