For any who are seeking a great place to stay in Victoria's Colwood area, look no further! This is the place! It had everything I needed for a perfect stay ... and more! Duncan and Vi keep house and gardens in immaculate condition. I would be back in a heartbeat!

Astrid and Stephen’s place in the marina was an absolute gem. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a friendly neighbour who so happened to be Stephen who showed us to our unit, and helped us check in. Though it rained for much of our visit, the views were still stunning—peaceful, calming, and a perfect escape. The home itself was pristine and full of charm, clearly cared for with thought and love. Every little detail made it feel like a true retreat. We flew in for my son’s hockey playoffs, and the location couldn’t have been better—an easy and scenic trip to and from the arena. In fact, we loved it so much that we added two extra nights to our stay instead of touring to Victoria. No regrets! The local touches were a highlight—morning walks for fresh sourdough bread from Grain, amazing local wines at nearby restaurants that we walked to for a few lunches, dinners and a stop for some delicious tubs of local ice cream that we stocked up on! Grateful.

This is the second of my stays with Ginny and Glen. This accommodation is spotless and the hosts are the best. I highly recommend their location especially for the view and how quiet the area is. I have a number of more weeks of work in the area and I will be looking to stay here again.

This place was fantastic. It was so hard to leave, even after three nights. The lodging decor is cozy, very comfortable with lots of nice seating options and has all that you need. Enjoyed making meals in the ample kitchen (oil & a few seasonings) and watching the wind and water through the wall-to-wall windows. For those with mobility concerns, there are five gradual gravel steps down to your entry door (it's on the lowest floor of an occupied 3-story home) and a short gradual gravel slope down the driveway and along side of house to get down to the very private lower section of the property. Your lower water-view yard is very private with a picnic table for a peaceful outdoor lunch with a view. Loved Betsy's tea and coffee options, the banana muffins and homemade bread were delightful. Quiet lodging with minimal walking sounds from above. Open communication was prompt and check-in/out was easy. I can't wait to return with my sweetie. This was an AirBnB favorite, for sure.

Magical!! Even more beautiful than the photos. The place was exceptionally clean and hosts very responsive. Communication excellent. I would love to come back here and just sit and enjoy the view some more.

I had a peaceful night sleep The weather was not good during my stay too much rain But the cozy little studio apartment was fine .

A wonderful stay in an absolutely stunning location! The photos and description are perfectly accurate, and the place is wonderful to spread out relax or use as a homebase while visiting Sidney. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and stocked full of amenities, and the kitchen is very functional with a great open room and beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Victoria is about a 25 minutes drive away (depending on traffic) but the suite is close to many amenities including stores, restaurants, the Victoria Airport and the ferries to Vancouver. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

We stayed here with a group of friends to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday (5 of us in total), and it was perfect. The place was exactly as advertised: clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Sim was friendly, responsive, and super helpful throughout our stay. The home had everything we were looking for: a large kitchen, an open-concept dining and living area, and stunning ocean views from every bedroom. We especially enjoyed the BBQ and fire pit, and with the ocean just steps away, we ended up going for a dip every day. Everything went smoothly and we had an amazing time. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay. Very relaxing. Beautiful view. Right on the water. Clean. Peaceful. There was a bottle of wine and coffee provided which was a nice touch. Hot tub was a good temperature, jets weren’t that strong. Only one small bathroom located on top floor but it is clean and functional. Small spiral stair case to get downstairs to one of the main bedrooms might be difficult for people with mobility issues. I recently had a knee surgery so chose to take the upstairs room which was smaller and a smaller bed. There are also some stairs to get to the house from the street. Overall, a wonderful short stay and would definitely stay again.

Loved our stay here with our friends. The backyard with the hot tub, fire pit and beach make this place an incredible stay. Love the layout of the kitchen and dining upstairs and the tv/family space downstairs. Would love to stay again soon!

Words cannot describe how special this place is. We were lucky enough to stay for almost a month, and the house and beach just kept on giving. The space has an incredible view out to the Salish sea, and we watched a parade of herons, bald eagles, and numerous other seabirds from the front deck. The house is equipped with everything you need and more, full of whimsy and fun art supplies, games, the best blankets and comforters ever, and two cozy fireplaces. The photos do not do the house justice; it's huge and modern, open plan, but with lots of private sitting spaces. Dawn and Zach are the kindest, most wonderful hosts. There's a reason the Sunset house has hundreds of rave reviews. If you have a chance to book it, don't hesitate.

The house had great accommodations and it being right on the water was absolutely perfect. It was so peaceful and serene, wish we could have stayed longer.

Annika’s home was beautiful - a true sanctuary. The access to the beach at low tide was a blast for our kids and we were treated to beautiful sunsets every night and even had an eagle perch on a branch outside to have its dinner. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable with lots of games and toys for the kids. Our kids are already asking when we can return.

Where do I start, Orcas is our second home and we will be making the trip twice a year no doubt about that, it's beauty and peacefulness is everything one could dream of. Jennifer's place added to that beauty. It sits right off the water and can be seen from the curved road ahead of arriving to the place, it's like a house sitting on a hill. The antique furnishings gives a feeling of an earlier time when the cares of the world were few and the enjoyment of the presence was much. Everything in the home accommodated my family very well. I encourage everyone to stay here and enjoy all of Jennifer's amenities, such as her kayaks and boats, her huge yard, sit out on a blanket with a book or just enjoy the scenery. Light a bomb fire on the fire pit, bit pack a sweater it's chili next to the water. This was everything and we will certainly be back to Jennifer's for another stay. Jennifer's very kind she stopped by to say hi and we gave her a plate of BBQ which she quite enjoyed. Thank you.

Beautiful condo with lots of room and great views. We all felt right at home.

A wonderful option right in the heart of town. Couldn’t be easier to find. Unit looks newly renovated and is spotless. We found parking easily within a block or two, if not right out front.

Perfect little condo for our weekend getaway as a family of four plus our pup. Our kids (4 and 6) loved the bunk bed and access to the pool. The other room is a loft room so it’s a bit bright in the morning. The condo had great decor, and all the necessary items. It was a great home base for a couple nights!

Birch Bay is great, there home is excellent.

Kelli's place and hosting exceeded expectations. She was communicative, friendly, got clear instructions and quick responses to us, and checked in during our week stay to make sure we had what we needed. The place was super clean, warm, with several places to cozy up with our grandkids who came over for a visit; parking, entry, getting settled was easy. We could stare at the bay from the living room or the covered patio; going for beach walks was as easy as crossing the street. The comfortable bed and spacious closet suited us perfectly for our 7 night stay. It had all the kitchen accessories we needed for the week. An example of Kelli's superhosting: when we arrived, we noticed one lightbulb out in the bathroom, hardly an issue. I messaged her so she could fix it (even if she did so after we left, again, it was not a bother) - within an hour the bulb was replaced. We have stayed several places when visiting our kids in Blaine and none of them suited us as well as Kelli's place.

My wife and I had a phenomenal stay at this Airbnb. Nestled in the city's heart, it provided a stunning view of the iconic Empress Hotel. The apartment was comfortably furnished, feeling like a second home. The outdoor patio was a unique highlight. Surrounded by trees, it served as a peaceful oasis amid the urban bustle. The pool and hot tub access added a layer of luxury, perfect for relaxation after city exploration. Our hosts were attentive, ensuring our comfort at every step. This Airbnb is a splendid choice for couples seeking a luxurious city stay. Eagerly awaiting our return visit!

Above and beyond our expectations, attention to detail & made our visit so comfortable ! They were always present to our needs & felt at home! An excellent vaycay!! We give it a 5 plus stars!!!

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved that from one balcony we had a river view and the other a view of the bay. The home was comfortable and cozy for our family. Beds had nice, soft (and clean!) sheets, comfortable mattresses as well. Short walk to beach access and coffee shop which was a plus as well.
