Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Roath

Incredible place to spend Christmas time with the family (group of 10). Alex was an amazing host, always responsive and trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house itself had ample space for everyone and the games room was a highlight for the children. The river on the back garden and the view was serene. Also Pontypool offered all amenities we wanted, from supermarkets, parks, and pubs. All in all an outstanding option.

This was our first time using Airbnb, what a great place to stay! We needed somewhere to stay while visiting family in Wales when we came across this. The pictures do not do it justice. There is so much space and everywhere is clean and tidy. everything you could possibly need has been thought about and supplied to enjoy your stay here. We will definitely be back later in the year.

Everything as described and expected. Kids liked the extra games in the house. Waterfall walls nearby. Great location

The accommodation is great and just what I needed. The Coach House is well kitted out and there was a lot of useful information about things to do. Bed was really comfortable, and so was the sofa. Kitchen had everything I needed. It’s in a great location - lovely cafes and handy shops/supermarkets in Llandaf North which is a ten-minute stroll, if that. The train station is also there, that is two stops to the city centre. You can walk into the city centre, which is about an hour but that’s mainly along the Taff Trail and through parks so a lovely walk. But also at the end of the street is a great park where you can take dogs. And the street was very quiet. Communication was great and the instructions for getting in were really clear.

Lynette’s gorgeous home is definitely home away from home. The house is beautifully presented and has everything you need. Surrounded by mountains and not too long a drive to the most beautiful hikes. The house is so cosy and peaceful. We also had parking right outside which was so useful. The bedrooms are both spacious and really comfy beds. There is a fantastic outside area which would be great for spring/summer time. I would highly recommend this host and house. Thank you for having us. I look forward to coming back very soon.

We visited Felicity's beautiful animal sanctuary for a 3 night stay and it was absolutely magical at the little cottage. The pictures don't do it justice, the views are stunning. The little cottage was very homely clean and tidy. We did the 2 hour animal experience and it is something we will never forget. A truly humbling experience and really makes you appreciate the hard work that Felicity and Dave put in. The animals are all so cared for and looked after so well. The hot tub was superb with breathtaking views, we had a fire pit and Felicity kindly left us some smores. The owners were very kind and attentive to every detail and the communication was fantastic. We would come back in a heart beat. There are so many walks on your doorstep too which made it even better. Some amazing memories made. Thank you

A great location for us to visit family locally. Property was clean and comfortable. Laura was quick to respond to our messages and lots of useful local information provided. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here with friends for one Saturday night, for a University reunion. The place is spotlessly clean, very comfortable, well decorated throughout with all the amenities you could require. Could easily stay here for longer, with either family or friends. Located in a quiet, private neighborhood and is convenient for either the city centre or the bay. Sarah is a great host, who provides excellent communication. Car Parking is a bonus too!

Exactly as described and a lovely stay-I’d stay here again if I am back in Cardiff! Hannah responded to any queries very quickly and the flat was spacious and cosy, lovely amenities.

Jen’s apartment is a great place to stay in.Simple and easy to get into.Kept in contact throughout stay if there was anything we needed. Lovely clean apartment ,comfy beds and big front room.Everything needed is there and the added bonus of a driveway included on the side of property to use. There are shops 2/3 min walk round corner, Train station is 10min walk also. Ideal position as only a 5/6 min walk straight down to seafront and the promanade. Thankyou again

On behalf of myself and my children I would like to say thank you, The veiws from this well maintained, modern and stylish penthouse are spectacular.the property is beautifully presented and surpassed all expectations.The location is less than a 5 min walk to the main high st where you will find all your regular shops that we've all been accustomed to plus a variety of independent businesses offering amazing food ect and Victoria was on hand responding to any queries from booking to checking out don't miss out on booking this property as you won't be disappointed 👌👌

We travelled from near Inverness to visit our daughter & granddaughter who were new to the area, short flight, met by cheap uber, no issues. 20 minutes from Bristol airport. Easy access,very clear instructions. Fantastic location, 8 minute's walk downhill hill to local high st area, 9 minute's walk back!( wee hill) 2 minutes walk to the beach & some lovely cafe/restaurants. Exceptionally clean property, big enough for 2, but still plenty space for 4! Had everything we needed, home from home! Great shower☺️ Our host William was very pleasant, professional & respectful, and VERY quick at responding, seemed a happy chappy 😇😄 All in all, Exceptional stay, loved the stunning views, would definitely stay again! Thank you young man!!🫠👍👍👍👍

On the whole was a lovely place to stay - was a little disappointed that my daughters room had a broken blackout blind laying in the window which should really have been fixed prior to our arrival - that said when we contacted our hosts they offered to fix the next day although we decided to leave it as we didn’t want to be disturbed when we were only there for the weekend. Also it’s worth noting the single bed in the third room would be a little small for a large adult. The only other slight drawback was the checkin procedures were rather lengthy and you are told no visitors without prior consent which I’ve never had to negotiate before. That said it’s a clean and great looking apartment in a great location.

Great little cozy bolt hole with all you need and a friendly flexible host. Dog friendly and really cozy in winter with the log burner
