Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in River Dee

Loved my stay at the Grove House. Emma is very kind, cooks a delicious breakfast and makes sure everything else is well looked after. I enjoyed our conversations and she has good hiking recommendations which proved helpful to me. The place has a very friendly feel and access is easy. The room is very well kept and pretty in decor, the location is very convenient for access to the village center, I was there for 2 nights and will definitely come again!

Can’t recommend this place enough, Susanne is a lovely host, breakfast was lovely, catered well for dietary requirements. Susanne gave us a lot of recommendations of places to go, didn’t have time to do them all but ones we did were absolutely spot on and we more than likely would have struggled a lot more without her help. The views from the room were beautiful, location was great for getting to Anglesey and surrounding towns quickly. Train station was a 5 minute walk and was a nice way to travel to nearby places too. The bedroom and bathroom had ample space and gave us plenty of privacy whilst being able to speak to Susanne at any point if we needed to. Would happily stay here again! Thank you!

I booked this on behalf of my mother who actually stayed. She could not fault Catherine and her hospitality. 5*s all round! Great welcome, spotlessly clean house and room and a delicious dinner. Catherine went above and beyond to ensure my mother was super comfortable. Really great place to stay!!

Can't recommend Amanda's place highly enough. They were super friendly, kind and accommodating. It's got to be the best Airbnb we've ever stayed at! We requested am evening meal on the first night and it was fabulous and plentiful. Breakfast too was amazing and surpassed our expectations. Their place is beautiful and peaceful. Fell in love with the goats! Can't wait to go back, miss it already. Thanks for your amazing hospitality guys!

Highly recommended! We came over the Easter weekend as a fun getaway trip, and this place really blew away all our expectations. The property is beautiful, the manor is gorgous, our room was magical, and the hosts were kind and inviting! The location is so close to many hiking trails. It's also not far off from Liverpool. John gave us a lot of insightful tips that helped us enjoy our time even more. We will definitely come again.

A beautiful room with characteristics of the building still intact. Beds were extremely comfy with great pillows! Everywhere was spotless and the colour theme was maintained well throughout the room. Plenty of coffees, teas, hot chocolates, and some lovely biscuits too. Welcome information was extremely useful and the recommended restaurant was fantastic! It was extremely homely. The campsite looked wonderful too. We would absolutely be back to stay again (would love that room again as well!!). WiFi worked excellently and mini fridge was a great touch. The place is in a beautiful setting and conveniently located to the Mach loop and other nearby places. We found it difficult to get to with the sat nav but Margaret provided excellent instructions via text prior to our arrival so we ignored the satnav and managed to find it. We couldn’t find anywhere to park initially however this was very quickly rectified! Excellent place, we were very sad to only stay 1 night due to work!

Once we found the house everything was really good. It was clean and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the linen fresh and nice. Lovely to have a sitting room where we could relax. Recommendation for the evening meal was well worth the effort to get there. The Hare, Fardon. Anne was very welcoming and helpful

Gayle and Mike were perfect hosts. They were very accommodating and we found the facilities and breakfast to be of top class quality. Highly recommend them.

Ann was such a great host welcoming.The Manor house was amazing. Such attention to detail, beautiful views, super clean and a gorgeous breakfast all made to order. I would totally recommend Anna place for a unique and comfortable stay.

Corrinna could not have been kinder or more welcoming to me and my little dog. She was so welcoming even when I showed up at 10pm for check in, and made me a coffee and breakfast in the morning. She even gave me a lift to the ferry terminal. Super clean bedroom and bathroom as well. Thanks Corrinna!

We stayed in Llangollen from 18th to 22nd September. We had an amazing time and a lot of that had to do with our accommodation and hosts. Vanessa and Christoph couldn’t do enough for us, from a lovely breakfast each morning made to match our individual requirements and preferences, to expert advice about the local area that we took full advantage of. The house itself was exactly as advertised, very spacious with a particularly beautiful garden. Our room was cozy and we had 4 well rested days and nights thanks to the comfortable bed. The en suite bathroom had everything you’d need for 2 people and there was enough wardrobe and draw space for our clothing and items. If you are planning on staying in the Llangollen area, I would very much recommend Vanessa’s home based on our experience, which was more than worth the price.

This accommodation is incredible value given its location and facilities. A desk might be helpful in the room, but in all other respects its was super. Bathroom facilities and wifi all absolutely as per requirements. Coffee and toast in the mornings was a very kind touch. Thank you!

it was an amazing stay at very authentic little inn in the middle of absolutely gorgeous mountains. Gordon is a great host - very friendly, and gave great recommendations about what to do around. the room is crystal clean and the bed is comfortable. the view from the window overseeing beautiful landscape. the breakfast was delicious, made from localy sourced ingredients, flavourful, and natural. the main dish (choice for full English breakfast, omlets, eggs, porridge) was accomplished with selection of fresh berries also from the area and very tasty. I highly recommend this place!

We stayed in the Forge which is a lovely stone annexe to the main house, luxuriously appointed and very comfortable. We were visiting our daughter at Edge Hill uni and this was the perfect base. Janet was also very helpful in helping us get various things sorted out for our daughter, going way beyond to assist. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of tasty, wholesome options. We will stay here again, and look forward to our next visit.

This was a perfect place to stay to go hiking up Snowdon. The food was great and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It was also very nice to have breakfast included with your stay.

This place is EXCELLENT! The pictures really don’t do it justice. Absolutely amazing historical building which has been kitted out and decorated with so much charm. This really is a hidden gem. The hosts were so lovely and friendly and although you’re sharing the hall with other people, it was so quiet and private. The hot tub in an outdoor chalet was the absolute highlight - it even has lights and inbuilt Bluetooth speakers. Lovely to relax in before falling into a very comfortable bed. Thanks so much to Andy and Serafina - we will be back!!
