We loved loved loved Viyarte's place!!!! The views were overwhelmingly amazing! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food is amazing! special thanks to Casta the lady in the kitchen she made the best breakfast and made us feel like we didn't want to leave. We only stayed one night but will be coming back and def staying longer next time.

A wonderful location with a fantastic view of the volcano. Nolver, who is one of the managers on site, was extremely helpful and efficient. We found a great restaurant within easy walking distance - but take a torch!! A very special place.

Great place to come to peace! Fall asleep to the sound of the waves of the sea and wake up every morning with the tastiest freshly brewed coffee in Carolina, the sweetest hostess. Small supermarkets and some bars within walking distance, beach right in front of you.

I stayed with my girlfriend at Joyce’s place for two weeks. Joyce was great at responding to any questions we had. There are beautiful restaurants within a short walking distance. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone who’s looking for a beautiful beach town.

Nothing but positive things to say about our stay. Check in was easy, getting through the front gate to hacienda iguana was such a breeze with these hosts. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Place was clean and well taken care of. The outside areas are spacious with beautiful furnishings. The pool and outside area have a view of the 3rd hole. Our stay here was outstanding from start to finish. Thanks again for hosting us 🤗

We loved our stay at red pepper kitchen facilities couldn’t have been much better there was everything there and well organised. The room was lovely and our roof top was a great place to relax. Mariken and Mark are lovely people and we’re so helpful with anything we needed. Would definitely come stay again.

We (family of 4) had a pleasant time and the rooms have lots of wind blowing plus the style of the villa/cabin/rooms fit the nature of the environment, clean and spacious. Pool was like having a nice oasis to cool down. Suggestion: Always ask for beds with the nets over them to have a better sleep since it’s inevitable to have some extra un invited “guest”!!

Beautiful location that Claire and Sasha built all by themselves. Everything is clean and neatly maintained. Reception was great and could enter the room before the official check-in time which was very nice! They have told a lot about the area and gave tips for food, activities and wanted to think along with everything. Also helped with transportation before our departure. You can ask anything and almost anything is possible. We had very nice days here!

We loved our stay at Aloha Bungalows! The pool was lovely and refreshing after a morning surf. Very good location, close to the main restaurants and bars, as well as a supermarket and surf shop. Walking distance to Santana beach which was great for surfing. A longer walk around to beginners bay and Popoyo surf points, but doable! The hosts also rescued animals which was really lovely to see! (If you’re allergic to cats then maybe not the place for you!) We would definitely come back and stay again!

We had a great stay at the eco-lodge! The room was nice and the gardens are beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice! Santa Cruz is a lovely small town with everything needed. Would really recommend staying here. Staff super helpful with renting scooters and other information. Thank you!

As indicated in the description, Spike's place is more remote than other places and was a bit of a haul on the moto but it was worth it. The room was very comfortable, clean, with a great breeze at night. The only noise at night was the lapping of the waves of the lake and howler monkeys and roosters in the morning. It was not far to San Ramon to hike to the waterfall and the lakeside there was also nice for swimming. But the best part were Orli and Carla who were amazing hosts (Spike was away) and made great meals even given my daughter's dietary restrictions. They were very helpful for anything we needed and super friendly. We loved our relaxing week there.

The accommodation was beautiful! We slept in the small cabana. Were woken up every morning by monkeys and birds - pure nature The sunsets were magical. Tim and his staff were nice and very helpful and assisted us in finding surf schools and transportation. A 4x4 is recommended for getting there and back.

We had the pleasure of staying at tranquilandia for a couple of nights. Jorge and his family are the ultimate hosts. They made us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The Airbnb was very easy to find and check in was a breeze. We enjoyed sleeping in the cool breezes of the island and the sounds of nature. The place is exactly as shown in the photos, very clean and well kept. The location is perfect for getting around. Jorge gave us the best advice on where to go and local recommendations. And don’t miss out on the breakfast they offer for a very fair price, it was delicious! We would definitely recommend this rental and we hope to return someday.

Liked this place a lot. I got a private room here to take a short break from the crowded hostel life. The folks here were super chill and cool. The owner Johnny is awesome. Very chill guy and super flexible and good with communication. Would highly recommend!

Amazing location, great host! We stayed for a few nights at Casa Horizon (Suite # 1) and had a great time. Two of Curtis's guides for his travel company were staying there in a couple of the other rooms, enjoying some downtime between trips, so we had the added bonus of their insights into all kinds of other places they'd guided trips over the years. Our suite was clean and comfortable, with an excellent ceiling fan. Hot shower in the pm, great water pressure. Great views from the suite, maybe a two minute walk down some stairs to the beach. Costa Dulce has a unique vibe you won't find anywhere else, and Curtis and his team are one of the reasons for that.
