Wow!!! This place is Amazing!! The hospitality and communication is second to none! We loved the peaceful feel of the country while still being close to town! They boys loved fishing and kayaking! Everything was clean and tidy! Would recommend this to anyone and everyone!!

The house was perfect for our trip. Plenty of room for us 4. Kitchen was stocked with essentials for cooking and the fridge was clean for all our food and drinks. Clean bathrooms 2 showers and clean fresh towels. Will be coming back in the future for another fishing trip.

We loved our extended stay here. The place was very clean and tidy. We enjoyed cooking here in the evenings as a family and it had all the things we needed to do so. The host was great ... always responded when we needed something. The farm animals would visit often and the kids loved it. Highly recommend.

I am from Kennett, and just needed a nostalgic refresher of my roots, and boy did this hidden treasure pay off. I had a weeklong stay of peace and quiet, and a lovely revisiting of that rejuvenating flatland: a trip across an ocean of memory. Carolyn, and her trusty canine cohorts, Enoch and Chuck, provided me with a list of eateries, that were utterly delightful. She also answered within minutes, to any question I had. Thanks for the memories.

This place was wonderful, and deceptively silent despite being right next to the highway. Xzavier was very kind, thoughtful and greeted us when we arrived. The place was clean, quiet and comfortable. The beds were not bad, too soft for my partner and I, but I feel that if you are sleeping alone—or don’t cuddle your spouse, they are perfect. Bathroom was clean, and the towels were folded in such a cute way—and with plenty of towels to choose from! There are extra heaters if you’re cold, that work really well to warm your toes. Overall I recommend this place!

This is our second stay with Jill at The Birdhouse. We are 4 friends who come from Alabama to the Paducah Quilt Show. The home is lovely! Very comfortable. Love the decor and the farm feel. We all loved it last year. We were so happy to book this year and definitely plan to return again!
