Guesthouse vacation rentals in Richmond

Very responsive hosts and were a great pleasure to deal with. This beautiful house is as advertised. There are actually 3 ensuites on the upper floor with another washroom in part of the basement. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Bedding is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with top of the line appliances, plenty of cutlery, dinnerwares, supplies, etc. As the house is backing the Hwy #1 it can be noisy at night with the traffic for light sleepers on the upper floor. However, it didn't bother us. Highly recommend this house and we will definitely return.

We had a great time staying here. The area was very walkable. Jennifer added personal touches that made us feel very welcomed.

We had a great stay! It was raining when we arrived and Sam brought us out umbrellas to use. He also let us borrow some supplies to deal with some car trouble. The space is cozy and just what we were looking for, for our weekend in Vancouver. It was pretty rainy while we were there, but we did get to see the view from the back deck a little and we caught a beautiful rainbow!

Amazing views and so quiet!!! Had a nice relaxing weekend away and can’t wait to visit Vancouver. When Ian says there are stairs he means it … stairs down the driveway and up to the unit. Be prepared if you are not a stairs person.

The host was so helpful, with local recommendations, flexible arrival time and so kind. The room is private, in a lovely property. We were worried it would be a bit cold considering it’s almost winter, but the heater was pretty good, would bring more layers than usual to sleep! The location is great! 10-15 minutes by walk to the principal street with restaurants and shops (and same for the ferry). We didn’t come by car, and were happily surprised that everywhere was accessible (there’s buses that stop right in front of the house) + some hitchhiking if you are into that. We did the dormant trail point and it’s a short but beautiful hike, recommend. Bowen island is worth visiting, and I would go back again to Catherine’s little house in the garden!

This is a large home, good for groups. The upstairs bedrooms have attached bathrooms which is very convenient. We rented both upstairs and downstairs spaces so had access to two kitchen areas and laundries which was great. Note that to access the second and third downstairs bedrooms you will need to go through another bedroom or access from outside. The kitchen was great for cooking group meals with an open plan main floor.

Very cozy place, easy access, neat and tidy. The upstairs noise did not bother us but it might if you are a light sleeper. Would definitely recommend if you’re planning to stay in North Van for a weekend trip.

We loved staying here! We were in town for the Eras Tour and it was the absolute perfect location with so much to do around it. Neil was very responsive, kind, and very welcoming! We would absolutely recommend going! It was clean, had everything we needed, and very peaceful. The surroundings were stunning and we would absolutely come again! We loved how there were emergency lights surroundings the stairs that would turn on when we walked past it so we could see. It made us feel very safe!

Cute little place! Very tidy and we loved having the deck. Jennifer was awesome with communication aswell.

This property was absolutely perfect for us! It was in a quiet, safe neighborhood, easy check-in process, super clean, had all necessary amenities, and Jimmy was very friendly and responsive. My only recommendation is, if someone is going to be sleeping on the futon in the living room, to bring a sleeping mask, the street lights are a bit bright and there are not blackout curtains. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is literally the best place I ever stay. Way better than any $250 USD-level hotels. The house is brand new. Furniture and facilities are modern, luxury and high-quality. E.g. there are floor heat and electric fireplace equipped. House is located at the end of a small road surrounded by bush. So extreme private and quiet. My only complaint is the trash can is very small and it is not possible to fit all garbages for our stay for a week. Plus, there is no large trash can outside the house. But I think it is a simple fix.

Our stay at Jane’s designer cottage on Bowen Island was nothing short of magical. The cottage itself was beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully considered. From the cozy decor to the lots of amenities, it was clear that a lot of care had gone into creating the perfect retreat. The special touches, like the stocked kitchen and waffle towels, made it feel like a home away from home. The outdoor deck was a true highlight—watching orcas pass by while enjoying a morning coffee was an unforgettable experience. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the serenity of our stay. Jane was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her warm hospitality and attentiveness made us feel incredibly welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and will absolutely be returning!

Great stay. Margit was very welcoming and wanted to make sure we were comfortable with our stay. Walked us through the suit and showed us everything we needed to know. Perfect kitchen for cooking and very comfortable living room for late night movies!

I loved staying at Teresita’s place! Very close to Marine Drive and can see the water outside on the street. Very friendly host and gave us clear instructions on getting into the place. Great place for my friend and I to stay outside of the city when we attended the Taylor Swift concert. I would definitely stay again!

Everything was as wonderful as it showed online. The design and decor is very nice and comfortable. Wonderful bath amenities and linens. Very comfortable bed and linens.

Derek is one of the best hosts I have had. He is always helpful and very responsive. The location is surprisingly quiet. Looking forward to returning!

I've stayed twice at Christine's Cabana and would love to stay again in the future. Christine is such a caring and helpful host, always there for any needs or doubts one might have. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees. If you have a car, there's always parking space on the street. If not, public transport is only two blocks away with easy connections in and out the city. 41st Avenue is just walking distance with nice restaurants and shops. The Cabana was spotless clean and very well equipped. Everything is new and appliances are high quality (big fridge, good microwave, washer, dryer, etc). Lots of closet space ... and hangers! Bed and pillows very comfortable. Really nice shower. The light is beautiful due to the large window-doors that face the garden. So peaceful that it even makes home office almost a pleasure. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Dineve’s place was exactly what my husband needed and conveniently located near the course he was taking. The suite is very clean, easily accessible and our host was very responsive and helpful! Would definitely recommend to others!
