Ysgubor Bach is a newly converted barn situated in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park and approximately a 2 hour hike to Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales and Southern Britain. Bike Park Wales, built by mountain bike riders for mountain bike riders is on our doorstep and we are 20 minutes by car from famous Waterfall Country. Zip World is well worth a visit too! Ysgubor Bach is comfortable, has all modern amenities and is enhanced by many original features.

Great place to stay, easy connections to the train and to A470 for arrival and transport to other locations such as Cardiff or Brecon Beacons. The place itself feels immersive, beautiful art wh we never you look and every thing you could need for your stay is provided. Washing machine, dishwasher (plenty of tablets), saucepans and all the linen. The cabin was warm, and my kids loved the bunk beds. Thanks for providing such an easy place to be over our visit.

Staying at Craig’s place was a test to see how my young kids would cope staying in a barrel hut rather than hotel room. On arrival their excitement was plain to see. The site set up, location and the Barrel hut was fantastic! The kids (9&4) absolutely loved every minute of it. We felt like long time friends with Craig. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Craig and to share a beer and chicken on the BBQ. The kids made friends that we will certainly see again. Kitchen, showers and WC’s are clean and tidy and simple to use. If you want a place to stay while exploring the Beacons or surrounding areas, Craig’s place is a must!! Perfect, peaceful and tranquil place to stay.

This was the most idyllic air bnb I’ve ever seen. Absolutely no bad parts to our stay, was such a lovely getaway. The porta loo seemed like a negative, but it was so clean and even decorated to make it not feel like it at all and didn’t smell in the slightest. Really was the ideal accommodation!
