Our stay at The Good Life was lovely! The spotless converted barn felt instantly welcoming, with every detail thoughtfully arranged for comfort. Debbie was very welcoming and very helpful, offering great recommendations and thoughtful touches like heating the tub before we got there. The stunning countryside location provided the perfect escape. We were staying here to visit the Brecon Beacons, and the location was perfect, as it is only 20 minutes away. The highlight was the amazing hot tub—perfect for unwinding under the stars. A beautiful stay, thank you for having us. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Forestry Cottage, Hot Tub, Gym, below Pen y fan

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

Hen Beudy: rural retreat in the Afan Valley

KatRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Group of us had great time in Hen Beudy. The place is exactly what we needed for trail running race in the area over the weekend. Very spacious house with lots of room, its warm, practical and clean with downstairs hard flooring. Relaxing in hot tub while watching green surroundings was lush after running those hills. It is in very peaceful location with no other houses just the forest so very quiet. Plenty to do in the area, weekend is not long enough. Phil and Debbie are great hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed. Would love to go back to stay there again.

Sugarloaf cottage - stylish elegant with hot tub

EmilyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We spent 2 nights at Sugarloaf cottage as we wanted to get some walking done in the Brecon Beacons. Alison was friendly from the start and made us feel at ease and our dog was made to feel very welcome too. The cottage looks exactly like the photos and was super clean. The views from the hot tub were fantastic. Alison gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and places to visit. Overall a fantastic couple of nights spent at Sugarloaf and if we are ever back this way, we’d opt to stay again. Thank you Alison 😄

Just to say Angela and James were the best hosts and we have stayed in our fair share of Airbnb’s. The photos just do not do this place justice, it was absolutely spotlessly clean throughout and so modern inside and out, it really was lovely vibe and we will definitely be back one day.

A perfect cottage for a couple with a dog- the secure garden with grass was a great bonus. Everything was thought of to make travelling with a dog easy and welcome. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our evening meals and the Welsh Cakes were a lovely local touch. The bed is comfy with a good range of pillows. We made the most of being close to the beach and the valleys, exploring the local areas.

La Cala Cottage, Brecon Beacons

JackRating, 5 stars20 months ago
The house was warm, spacious, and ideally located on the southern edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, making it a great base to return to following any activity. The house was clean and well-presented; the open-plan kitchen/dining/living room helped make the evenings sociable, and the second sitting room/office space was ideal if you needed some privacy. We did note that some of the doors were not properly fitted, making them stick – one of the bedroom doors was very difficult to open from the inside if closed, so had to remember to leave it at least ajar. The location is rural and very peaceful, despite being on a main road – providing great access to numerous walks within the national park, local waterfalls, and caves, also making it easy to get to larger local towns for supplies, and any other attractions we were interested in. Overall, an enjoyable and comfortable stay that we didn’t want to end!

Modern miners cottage close to the brecon beacons

LouiseRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Sean was a delightful host with everything well thought out in the property. The home was newly renovated but still had the charm of a cottage and the local area. Plenty of space for 6 to stay. Minutes from a major supermarket but the home itself is in a small little town that has a corner store. I highly recommend this property. Thank you for hosting us from Australia.

Great stay, super close (7 minutes) to BPW. Secure bike storage is good, although a little tight if you’re running large / XL frames and you need to get more than two bikes in. (Watch your head as you come out!) Kitchen was clean, although could only find one baking tray, not a big problem! Beds comfy, would stay again

Great location, very near to the station for trains into Cardiff and the M4. Very clean and well provisioned. Quiet and private. Although you can load/unload next to the property, you can't park outside. There are parking places on the road nearby and in the end this didn't cause any problem. Can be recommended.
